The winds of change in the Philippines - Inexplicable

 The last 6 years of warm relations between China and the Philippines were too good to be true. The romance in the eyes of many would be shortlived, a flash in the pan. It would not outlive the rein of Duterte and would fade away quickly as an aberration. The power elite of the Philippines, especially the military and political elites were abundantly in favour of closer relations with their former colonial masters. Many have very special relationship with the Americans built over many years. The Americans would be back, like what MacCarthur said to resume as the colonial master of the Philippines.

Any analyst looking at the political landscape could easily come to the conclusion that Filipino American relationship would be back to normal. Some may even expect the return of the Americans to Clark Air Force Base and Subic Naval Base. The Americans too were waiting for this moment and did not mind sitting it out for 6 years. There were no prominent politicians like Duterte and sharing the same kind of thinking and policies with respect to relations with China or the USA available to continue his pro development policies. Duterte's daughter is still young and junior and not yet in the political mainstream of things. Practically every politician of any standing is pro American...except a dark horse in Marcos Jr. Not many thought much of him given his family history and that he had recently returned from exile in Hawaii.

The game was set for more good years with the return of the Americans. There would be more jobs for waitresses, hostesses and bar men and pimps. The Americans threw in their lot with the Vice President Leni Robredo. Unfortunately, against all odds, the Filipinos voted for the Marcos/Duterte team to the disappointment of the Americans. No more good years with the Americans but more economic development and closer ties with China. Sara Duterte is a chip off the old block, very similar in thinking as her father and there is no doubt where her sentiment lies.

Bongbong Marcos could still be anyone's guess at face value. Her family's background was pro Americans. Only the Americans know who is Bongbong Marcos and what the Americans had done to his family. By the time the election was over, it was clear that Bongbong was in the same camp as the Dutertes, pro Philippines, pro economic growth.

The last few years of his father's life and subsequent exile in Hawaii could have influenced his thinking and perceptions of the Americans. The ouster of his father and his exile were engineered by the Americans. He was removed from power by the Americans like all American supported and backed Presidents all over the world. The king maker was and is the American. Bongbong must be aware of this.  And the Hawaiian Court ruling against his family to return US2b of their wealth to the state was a bitter pill too big to swallow.  This came with an added US$300m fine for not complying with the court order. Bongbong must have taken these quite badly.

After his family's return to the Philippines, Bongbong spent a lot of his time rebuilding the family business, mainly with China. They have pleasant experience and relationship with China since his father's day. Bongbong had met Mao during a family visit with his parents. Coincidently, his grandfather was from Fujian, just like the grandmother of Duterte, and the ancestors of the Aquinos.

The stage is now set for another 6 years of good relations with China to the chagrin of the Americans. This time the Americans may not want to wait and may become impatient. Bongbong and Sara have to be extra vigilant of dark corners, of NGOS, NED and pro American elements. 6 years of Duterte were bad enough, but there was hope that it would just be 6 years. With Bongbong and Sara, it could be another 6 years plus 6, and by then it would be nothing that the Americans could do to make a come back to claim Clark and Subic as their playgrounds.

What is inexplicable in the Philippines is that the Americans were ruthless colonialists and had committed massacres and genocides on the Filipinos in the millions. But the Filipinos love the Americans and would like to be ruled by the Americans, or at least some quarters in the Philippines have such love affairs with the Americans. Therefore, any anti American or nationalist Filipinos would never stand a chance to win in a general election when so many unseen forces and pork barrel politics would see to it that American supported candidates would easily win. Somehow, in some inexplicable ways, dark horses, lone rangers like Duterte from Mindanao, could win the Presidential election. And now the most feared by the Americans has happened in Bongbong Marcos Jr becoming the President of the Philippines. This is something that the Americans had miscalculated. Never had it occurred to them that the Marcos could return to rule the Philippines again. The Americans had cut and burnt bridges with the Marcos and now have to deal with the return of the Marcos. There is no where to hide for the Americans.

Philippines internal politics may become chaotic again with the potential for colour revolution incited by you know who. Civil unrest and terrorist acts could be on the rise when foreign hands are busy to create instability for regime change.  The Filipinos must be united to support and protect their President and Vice President from vicious forces of destruction.

Monkeypox - MOH targeting high risk groups

SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Monday (Jul 25) that it has taken efforts to reach out to "at-risk groups", including those engaging in high-risk sexual activities, to raise awareness of monkeypox transmission.

This is being done through healthcare and community partners, an MOH spokesperson said in response to queries from CNA, and is part of its efforts to reduce the spread of monkeypox infections.

The WHO on Saturday declared the monkeypox outbreak a global health emergency - the highest alarm it can sound.

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the outbreak was "concentrated among men who have sex with men, especially those with multiple sexual partners" which meant it "can be stopped with the right strategies in the right groups".  CNA

A way to reduce the risk of spreading monkeypox here is to ban LGBTQ from the US and Europe from entering our island. Alternatively, those coming from US and Europe should be quarantine and tested before being allowed in.

Ukraine - The irony of it all

 The plague of WW2 in Europe was Nazism, Nazi Germany. The Nazis invaded the whole of Europe and almost overrun UK. And it took the effort of the whole of Europe, including the US and Russia, to defeat the Nazis and stop this racist menace from killing the Jews. And for the last few decades, the Jews have set up special task force to track down every Nazi officers of Hitler's Germany to bring them to justice. The genocide and atrocities committed by the Nazis in the holocaust had carved a deep mark in the psyche of all living Jews today. Never would the Jews forget the horrors brought upon them, to terminate them from the face of the earth once and for all.

The irony of the Ukraine war today is that the whole of Europe and the Americans and the Canadians are supporting a bunch of neo Nazis to massacre the Russians and now supporting them in a futile war with Russia. The Europeans are willing to sacrifice their good life, peace and prosperity, to support the neo Nazis that were once a plague, a disease to them. Can you believe it? And the Americans and Canadians have been secretly training and funding them for years to build up a fighting force in the Azov Battalion comprising mainly Nazis, white supremacists!

And to top it all, Israel, the arch enemies of the Nazis, the lucky few survivors of the holocaust, is also supporting the Nazis against Russia.

What is happening? What is the persuasive reason, the bigger hideous agenda for all the white men countries to be supporting the Nazis, the white supremacists? What is the secret agenda?

The white men have reasons to support a white supremacy group to kill the coloured people. What have the coloured people of the world got to be supporting the Nazis in Ukraine against the Russians? Has it sunk in to their minds that they, the coloured people of the world, would be the eventual targets of the white supremacists if they succeeded in defeating the Russians? Are they willing to live under the hegemony of white supremacists led by the Nazis? Or they think it has nothing to do with them, that i would not happen to them, just like the Jews in Israel similarly thinking that this time the Nazis would love them and would not genocide them a second time?

US planning incidents in South China Sea

In rather alarming wording, Assistant Secretary of Defence for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs Ely Ratner warned at a think tank's annual conference in Washington on Tuesday of the "unsafe and unprofessional behavior" of the Chinese military in the South China Sea, and said that "it is only a matter of time before there is a major incident or accident in the region."  Global Times

Putin has put it aptly that whenever the Americans accused anyone or country of any crimes or misdeeds, or of something that is going to happen, it is about the Americans having done it or about to do it. In this case, the Americans are accusing China of unsafe acts and about a major incident about to happen in the region, it is as good as saying that the Americans are going to provoke and cause such incident or accident to happen. 

The mischievous and trouble making Americans sailed their warships thousands of miles across the Pacific Ocean to China's front yard to agitate and provoke China and claimed that it is peaceful freedom of navigation exercise. No decent law abiding and peaceful countries would behave in such a provocative and aggressive manner other than the Americans and the Anglo Saxon tribes and their military allies. If China or Russia were to do the same, the Americans would be crying father and mother that the Chinese and Russians are acting in an aggressive manner. But what they did, despite being clearly aggressive and provocative, were played down as non aggressive but peaceful.  It is like a hostile neighbour daily driving his car to a distant neighbour's gate daily, honking or parking in front of the gate and claiming it is friendly, not aggressive, freedom of movement to do what he likes.

This is what the Americans' so called rule of law. Anyone uttering rule of law, rule based order, debt trap, etc etc, are parroting what the Americans want them to say, and are obviously in the pocket of the Americans, controlled by the Americans, puppets of the Americans.

At any time, the trouble making Americans would be creating an accident or incident in the South China Sea and blame it on China. This is the nature of white savages and their desire to create instability and even wars in the region. Period. The white savages are up to no good. They have been exploiting differences among countries all over the world to get them fighting one another in order to control them and selling arms to them. 

This is the basic trick in their playbook to remain as the world hegemon. Create trouble everywhere, wars everywhere, to keep everyone busy quarrelling and fighting, far away from American homeland. It is a matter of when such incidents or accidents would happen in the South China Sea. 

The Americans even openly talked about attacking the Chinese islands. In today's context this is foolhardy thought.  The Chinese would be using them for target practice. Today China has the whole of the South China Sea and all the waters within a 4,000 km radius under its control, including the Indian Ocean. All the American warships in these waters are sitting ducks.

 

Pelosi is flying to Taiwan. If the Americans can take down the Twin Towers with several thousands of victims in them and blamed it on terrorists, on Afghan tribesmen, it would be chicken feat to take down Pelosi's aircraft and blame it on China. After all Pelosi and that big piece of lard, Pompeo, have all out lived their usefulness. There is also good reason to take out Pompeo to keep him out of the Presidential race. This is like killing 3 birds with one stone. And China would be blamed for it. 

 

And the silly Taiwanese would end up as roast meat like the Ukrainians.
