'In Los Angeles, where packed hospitals have been turning away ambulances, medics were Monday instructed not to transport adult cardiac arrest patients if they cannot be resuscitated in the field.

The county's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) agency also issued a directive for ambulance crews to save oxygen supplies by only administering to patients with severely low levels.

Local EMS agency head Marianne Gausche-Hill told CBS that medics were "not abandoning resuscitation" in the field, but that transporting patients with "very poor outcomes" who cannot be resuscitated could "impact our hospitals."....

"Many hospitals have reached a point of crisis, and are having to make very tough decisions about patient care," said Los Angeles County director of health services Christina Ghaly.

Firefighters trained as paramedics have been temporarily called up to assist hospital staff, while army engineers were drafted in to bolster straining oxygen delivery systems at six hospitals.

"We're likely to experience the worst conditions in January that we've faced in the entire pandemic -- and that's hard to imagine," Los Angeles County public health director Barbara Ferrer said Monday.' Yahoo News

American hospitals in crisis because of mounting hospitalisation and death due to Covid19. Hospitals running out of beds, running out of oxygen. Trump does not care. He is busy telling lies to his supporters that Biden cheated and stole the election from him, without any proof, claiming all kinds of rumours as justifications that he won the election. Not only that he is busily encouraging his daft supporters to rebel, he spends his time banning apps and Chinese business in America. 

Trump is totally oblivious of the Covid19 crisis and the death of Americans. He would not lift a finger to do anything. Americans die are their own business. He has not time or interest to care about them.

This is the kind of president the daft Americans voted into the White House. The Americans deserve to have him and dying because of him.

Not only that, he staged a coup, an insurrection to stop Biden from becoming the President, ending in the lost of 4 American lives and the ransacking Capitol Building, forcing the senators and people's representatives to run for their lives. 

The biggest worry for Americans and the world is a false flag incident by staging an attack on American forces and using it to launch a war with Iran.  Americans and the people of the world must be wary of this unscrupulous gangster and his equally bad Pompeo, to start World War 3 in the next 12 days of his Presidency. 

No country in the world, including Iran or North Korea, would be mad to want to attack the evil Empire to invite their own destruction.  Any such attacks in the next few days are pre planned by Trump and his evil men and equally evil allies to commit war crimes. 

Would the Americans be able to stop this from happening? Would they be able to remove this clown from the White House before he starts World War 3?

Covid-19: Safety Is Of Paramount Importance For The New Pfizer Experimental Mass Vaccination Program - Part 1/2

Let us all be very clear in our heads. This Pfizer vaccine is new, very new. It is a new technology. No one has the sufficient knowledge to become an "Expert" in the application of the vaccine, yet. So, please don't pretend to be or make use of the word "Experts" to convince us that this new Pfizer vaccine has been determined to be safe for everybody. The fact is, it is not.

To those who called themselves "Experts", have you even taken this particular vaccination yourself, applied it to your loved ones and waited for at least six months to see the side-effects? If no, then you are no "Experts".

This Pfizer new-technology vaccine, no matter how you can put it, is a new experimentation on human life. It is about trying out something that has never been tried before on human beings. There are unknown consequences due to unknown responses by different human body-makeups and conditions. Therefore, there are unknown risks that even the researchers themselves do not know at this early stage of the mass experimentation.

In any experiment, there should be a very high degree of caution. Nothing should be left to chance. Nothing should be thrown to the wind by quoting standard replies from the textbook. This vaccination thing is about human life and death. It is about losing one life is one too many. There can be no careless mistakes to be covered up later with whatever excuses one might have already thought out of one's clever brain, irrespective of scientist, businessman or politician.

These days, the media is filled with the term "Experts" being thrown about to mesmerize the unaware and the unwary. How can there be any expert in this particular new Pfizer experimental vaccine, to start with? Common sense tells us that nobody has ever tried it out long enough (3 to 4 years) to ascertain the long-term side-effects. Its efficacy for the Covid-19 corona-virus may be said to be 80 to 95% by the manufacturers. However, what are its side-effects in the long-run? Will our future generations be affected by this manipulated mRNA thing? How will this mRNA interact with our DNA in the long-run? These questions have to be answered before anyone can call himself an "Expert" in this particular new-technology experimental vaccine.

Even Pfizer does not dare to take the risk of having to shoulder the full responsibility if something goes wrong with this experiment.

I was heartened by what Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said when he introduced the mass vaccination scheme:

"I have personal confidence in our experts. My cabinet colleagues and I, including the older ones, will be getting ourselves vaccinated early. This is to show you, especially seniors like me, that we believe the vaccines are safe."

However, in reply to a question asked in Parliament about whether ministers taking the lead to have the vaccination first, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong shrewdly replied (contradicting the PM's intention),

"Ministers, senior civil servants and politicians do not want to be seen jumping the queue ahead of others in Singapore."

What is Minister Gan trying to convey to us? In the first place, he is in no position to speak on behalf of all the ministers, all the senior civil servants and all the politicians. Moreover, we are very anxious about the safety aspect of this vaccine. We would like to be re-assured by our leaders' deeds, not mere clever-sounding words.

We are not interested in how magnanimous our ministers want to appear to us. We are not concerned whether the ministers, senior civil servants or politicians jumping the queue or not. In fact, they should be the first on the list, to lead the way in this new experiment. Unless, they are also having apprehensions just like all of us, they should gladly be the first to take the plunge. Not using cleverness to side-step the real safety issue.

WASHINGTON: Supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol on Wednesday (Jan 6) in a bid to overturn his election defeat, forcing Congress to postpone a session that would have certified President-elect Joe Biden's victory.

With drawn guns and tear gas, police evacuated lawmakers and sought to clear the Capitol Building of protesters, who surged through the halls of Congress in shocking scenes broadcast across the globe.

One protester occupied the Senate dais and yelled: "Trump won that election".

Protesters overturned barricades and clashed with police as thousands descended on the Capitol grounds.

Police declared the Capitol building secure shortly after 5.30pm (6.30am Singapore time), more than three hours after it was breached.

Video showed the Trump supporters breaking windows and police deploying tear gas inside the building. Washington Metropolitan Police Chief Robert Contee said members of the crowd used chemical irritants to attack police and several had been injured. One civilian died after being shot during the mayhem, local media said. The FBI said it had disarmed two suspected explosive devices....

The former vice president said that for demonstrators to storm the Capitol, smash windows, occupy offices, invade Congress and threaten the safety of duly elected officials: "It's not a protest, it's insurrection".

Bilahari Kausikan - Live streaming of Parliamentary session is not 'genuine transparency'

 

Singapore — Barely minutes into the first livestream of a Parliamentary session on Monday (Jan 4), a former Singapore diplomat criticized the move, calling it “a mistake”.

In a Facebook post on his own page, Bilahari Kausikan wrote that the move “is a mistake. It will undoubtedly be hailed as a step in the direction of ‘transparency’. But the real effect will not be genuine transparency”....

 In his post, Mr Kausikan said that the immediate effect of having the sessions livestreamed “will be to promote playing to the gallery”.

“To think that playing to the gallery will be recognised as such by the general public, is to expect far too much of human nature. In the long run, it will change the political dynamic in such a way as to incentivise a certain sort of personality to enter politics and not the kind who ought to be a political leader”, he added.

Why is live streaming of Parliamentary session not 'genuine transparency'? According to Bilahari, the MPs would be playing to the gallery, meaning they would become actors and actresses in Parliament, trying to put up a fake picture of themselves? This is the assumption of Bilahari, that MPs, including ministers, would think playing to the gallery is more important than presenting what is real, what is the truth?

I think there is another way to look at this. The MPs and ministers would be more conscious and would want to put up their best front, to prove that they are good by being more thorough in their presentations. There would be no room to make mistakes or talk nonsense, as the public would be looking at them and judging them. Would not this for the better than to assume that they would fake to look good?

To simply make an assumption that MPs and ministers would play to the gallery is being too simplistic and a weak argument to claim that this would make Parliamentary session not genuine, not transparent.

Then what is genuine transparency? Have closed sessions like before then edit the parts that are good to be shown to the public? Speaking not in full view of the public would lead to genuine transparency?

I think putting the MPs and ministers under the spotlight is a much better way to ensure that they put on their best and behave in the best way they could and also would impose on them to be accurate and telling the truth.
