Dali city square and night life - A pictorial essay

Evening at Dali city square with plenty of shoppers. Click to enlarge pics.
A popular shop selling little Yunnan coffee beans. We sat outside the shop doing coffee tasting and I bought a few packets from the very friendly staff.
Another view of the side street. The streets are clean, people fashionably dressed and at peace with themselves and the world. And it is quite difficult to find a dustbin on the streets. The Chinese people and the cleaners kept the place clean.
The centre row with blue and green lightings were foodstalls. There were plenty of interesting food and snacks everywhere at very affordable prices. In China, there is abundance of food for everyone.
This was like a family pub but with live performers. There were families and children having meals here and enjoying themselves. We spent an hour relaxing here, no hot coffee but got some hot lime juice and a hot stove on the table to keep warm. We sat in the garden outside. 11 C, quite chilly.
More bars and entertainment joints. Not rowdy, with appreciating crowds inside them.
