Pompeo pushing Asean states to fight China

Pompeo said it was time for Southeast Asian governments to reconsider their own relationship with firms working in the sea.

"Don't just speak up, but act," he told the 10 foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during an online summit.

"Reconsider business dealings with the very state-owned companies that bully ASEAN coastal states in the South China Sea.

"Don't let the Chinese Communist party walk over us and our people."....The United States this year has escalated "freedom of navigation" operations in waters claimed by China, including bringing two aircraft carriers into the region for the first time since 2014 and lifting submarine deployments and surveillance flights....

But the Philippines already said last week it would not follow the US lead because it needed Chinese investment, even as a fresh dispute between the two nations over Scarborough Shoal - one of the region's richest fishing grounds - hangs over the talks....Indonesia's foreign minister Retno Marsudi cautioned the United States and China on Tuesday (Sep 8) not to entangle her country in their regional struggle for influence, telling the two superpowers: "We don't want to get trapped by this rivalry."

Retno said ASEAN must remain steadfastly neutral and united.

“Firstly I do not want Malaysia to be dragged and trapped in a geopolitical tussle between superpowers,” said Mr Hishammuddin.

“We must prevent any unwanted incident from happening within our territorial waters. We must also prevent any military clashes in the waters between any relevant parties,” he added.

Secondly, Mr Hishammuddin said that the South China Sea dispute cannot be used as an issue that will cause disunity between ASEAN countries.

“If we follow the narrative and succumb to the pressure of superpowers, the potential for ASEAN countries to bend and take sides with certain countries will be high. When facing big superpowers, we must be united, as one bloc, so that our strength will be synergised effectively,” he said.   CNA

 

The above are some reports from CNA on the evil scheme of the Americans to stir trouble in the region and trying very hard to agitate and provoke the Asean countries to fight China for the Americans. The Americans have been raising the tension in the South China to the point of an all out war with China. And if the Asean countries are stupid enough to be dragged into this war, the people and countries that would suffer and die will be the people of Asean, and the Americans will be laughing at the Asean's stupidity and making money out of it by selling more weapons. 

It is a stroke of luck that Asean now have a few thinking leaders that saw through the deceit and vociferously told the Americans that Asean would not be the pawns of the Americans in its war with China. This tough stand has put a stop to the few American cronies in Asean that still wanted to take the side of the Americans to provoke and start a war with China. Thank God the number of cronies is down to probably one or two in Asean.

The Philippines is lucky to have Duterte to stand up to the Americans, but for how long? Below comment is the mentality and thinking in the Philippines especially in the miliitary. The distrust is because the dispute in the island claims. But the silly Philippines military trusted the Americans, the people that invaded their country, massacred their people and colonised and ruled them while China did not step foot on Filipino soil.  Can you believe it, they trusted the murderers of Filipinos and invaders of their country!

Companies that did not want to hire Singaporeans are not welcomed in Singapore

 

WSG subsequently contacted the company in question for clarification and the post was amended at 2.25pm on Sep. 9, three weeks after it had been first put up on the MyCareersFuture portal on August 26.

The Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) is also expected to follow up with the employer to review its employment practices....

In emphasising that it took a serious view of the matter, WSG stated that all Singapore-based jobs and related posts must be aligned with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP).

It elaborated that under TGFEP, it is "discriminatory" to exclude Singaporeans or indicate preference for non-Singaporeans during the hiring process, which includes job advertisements.

Such breaches will also be referred by TAFEP to the Ministry of Manpower for the "appropriate" action to be taken against the employer.

A company that does not want to hire Singaporeans, even if they remove the add would not make any difference with their intent.

MOM or the Singapore govt must make it clear that such companies are not welcomed in Singapore and take decisive actions to ask them to operate elsewhere. Singapore is for Singaporeans and companies that are not working for Singaporeans have no reason to be here.

Get them out of Singapore.

Companies caught for pre-selecting foreign job applicants and didn’t conduct any local job interviews

Together with the announcement of harsher penalties for discriminatory hiring practices in January this year, MOM named a few companies caught for flouting FCF.

One company, Ti2 Logistics Pte Ltd, was caught for making a false declaration to MOM. It submitted an EP application for a foreign job applicant for the position of business development manager. It had also advertised for the position of accounts manager on the Jobs Bank.

For the former role, it made a false declaration that it had interviewed two Singaporeans and considered candidates fairly when it had not done so. For second role, the firm also treated the job advertising requirement under the FCF as a paper exercise, posting a job description unrelated to the actual job.

In reality, it had already pre-selected an EP applicant for the business development position and had no intention to interview any Singaporean candidates. MOM charged the company with one count of making a false declaration to the Controller of Work Passes in its EP application. It has also been debarred from hiring new EP holders or renewing existing work passes for two years.

Like Ti2 Logistics, two other companies also did not interview any locals even though they had put up advertisements on Jobs Bank. Before putting up the job advertisement, Meyer Burger (Singapore) Pte Ltd had already interviewed a foreigner overseas and deemed him suitable for a process engineer post in Singapore. It then advertised the position on Jobs Bank for the purpose of applying an EP for him.

Meyer Burger did not carry out any interviews since it had already made up its mind to hire the foreign worker. The job advertisement was posted solely to make an EP application. MOM debarred the company from hiring new EP holders or renewing existing work passes for two years.

Tarantula Global Holdings Pte Ltd similarly submitted an EP application for the position of senior IT support engineer. Like Meyer Burger and Ti2 Logistics, the company had pre-selected the EP applicant, who was a former employee of an affiliated overseas company. It put up a job advertisement, but likewise did not interview any candidates other than the chosen one. The company was debarred by MOM from hiring new EP holders or renewing existing work passes for 12 months.

Another company, Nihon Premium Clinic Pte Ltd, submitted an EP application for the position of regional customer development manager. It omitted listing critical key criteria in its job advertisement like the ability to speak fluent Japanese and Mandarin, when they were actually required for the job.

As a result, none of the job applications submitted was suitable for consideration as the local job applicants did not know that fluency in Japanese and Mandarin was required. Instead, an EP applicant recommended by one of the company’s shareholders was deemed suitable after an interview.

The congenital liar lied and lied and lied. And his professional liar, the big piece of lard called Pompeo lied to the whole world without feeling any sense of guilt or shame. This is American culture, the shameless behaviour of a people that lived on lying, cheating, stealing and killing.

During the last few years under Trump assisted by Pompeo, the world was given a clear view of what evil Americans are like. The tarnished image of this evil country and evil people cannot be hidden anymore.  The longer these two liars are in the White House, the blacker would the White House turn into.

American culture is a lying culture. And to deflect their lying behaviour, they accused China of lying in its Covid19 report to WHO when China did not. How to trust the lying evil Americans?

Another example of American lying culture on display by Trump's spokeswoman Kayleigh in Yahoo News.

'CNN cut away from a White House press briefing Wednesday and anchor Brianna Keilar told her viewers press secretary Kayleigh McEnany was “lying” about President Donald Trump’s coronavirus response.

During the briefing, McEnany was asked to respond to new reporting from Bob Woodward that Trump knew about the coronavirus threat in early February, but downplayed it significantly.

“The president never downplayed the virus,” McEnany said. “The president expressed calm.”'

The Americans run up to their presidential election is the moment to see the ugliness of these evil people. See how they lied to tear down each other and exposing the sickness of a people that use lies and deceit to win in whatever competition. Both Trump and Biden are examples of the shameless and evil people that Americans are made of. And it is part of God's plan to let them show to the world what they really are, their ugly faces revealed for the world to see, and how their racist and unthinking people would go all out to support two of the worse specimen of human beans they wanted as their President.

High Concentration of PMETs From One Country "Discovered" By MOM

 

Last month, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) suddenly woke up and quickly made a public announcement that it has "discovered" 47 companies with suspected discriminatory hiring practices have been placed on its Fair Consideration Framework (FCF) Watch list. (As a pass-time bird-watching hobby?)

This is on top of the 1,000 firms in the watchlist as announced by Manpower Minister Josephine Teo in Parliament earlier this year – an increase of about 400 more firms compared to last year's watchlist. (Which means the watching alone is not effective. It does not mean anything to the culprits. They simply don't give a damn!)

The announcement came after the recent Pandemic General Election which saw the PAP lose another GRC and perform worse than expected.

Of the 47 companies, 30 (64 per cent) are in the financial and professional services sectors. They include banks, fund management firms, management consulting companies, as well as firms that provide project management and engineering services.

MOM said that all 30 of the financial and professional services employers have a “high concentration of PMETs from single nationalities”. In simple layman's words, ONE COUNTRY.

(We can confidently assume that that One Country is INDIA, because MOM is terrified to reveal it to us.)

In one financial institution in the fund management industry, almost 75% of their PMETs are of the same nationality and in another bank, almost 66% of the PMETs are also of the same nationality, MOM revealed.

“We will subject their hiring to closer scrutiny to ensure that there is no nationality bias against locals, which is unacceptable and not in line with fair, merit-based hiring,” said MOM.

How do you ensure just by "closer scrutiny"? It's like 66-75% of your territory has already been invaded by enemy forces and you suddenly discovered it, and then as the commander tasked to defend the territory, you shouted at the enemy forces, "Hey! I am going to take a closer look at you, to ensure that you don't invade my territory!" What a brilliant commander!

Even though MOM did not name the companies or the nationalities involved, most netizens pointed to Indian nationals. Why? Because we can see, feel and smell them crowding everywhere, especially at Changi Business Park and the Financial Centre at Shenton Way. Simple as that.

Only those comfortably sleeping inside ivory towers cannot feel and cannot see the real situation on the ground.

Solution:

To ensure that the various companies abide by MOM"s guidelines, regulations, rules, directives and decrees, the following actions (not observations) should be taken:

1. Impose heavy penalties even for first offence.

2. Charge them in Court and send the CEO to serve jail terns.

3. Terminate their licence and ban them from operating in Singapore.

4. Reserve all CEOs and Human Resource Directors or Managers for Singapore-born Citizens only. New citizens or PRs holding such posts must be approved by MOM and issue with a revocable permit to hold such posts.

5. All government agencies, organs of state and MAS, GIC, GLCs and Temasek Holdings and its subsidiaries must also comply. They serve as good examples to lead the rest. If they can vagrantly flout the rules, so can others. Then MOM will have no moral standing to exert compliance.

Foreigners having a party, Singaporean PMETs in dire straits - A choice between stupidity and change

Temasek says it hires mostly - Singaporean staff

“About 60 per cent of our staff across our 11 offices in eight countries are Singaporeans”, said Temasek Holdings Private Limited is a Singaporean holding company, owned by the Government of Singapore.

In its Temasek Review 2020 report highlights, the commercial investment company revealed its staff composition proportion in a series of graphs....

“Temasek has its roots in Singapore, where there is no place for xenophobia, racism, or hate speech. The very birth of Singapore as an independent nation was founded on the ideals of meritocracy, regardless of race, language or religion. What matters most to us in Temasek, are the values, the integrity, and the character and capability of our people”, it added.

This explanation by Temasek came about as a result of the recent furore over the massive influx of foreigners in Singapore and the increasingly clearer picture of many top jobs in govt and GLCs being filled by foreigners while many experienced Singaporean PMETs were laid off, became unemployed, retired, or underemployed. The trend also says that those Singaporeans aspiring to top management jobs are likely to lose them to foreigners. 

The problem of unemployment is not only limited to the senior PMETs but also to fresh Singaporean graduates that have been discriminated and marginalised or just unable to find employment while foreigners are in charge and foreigners could walk into Singapore and landed a permanent job like a breeze.

Anger is rising with the increasing pain faced by Singaporeans, many felt betrayed and cheated by the policies of the govt and the practices of GLCs. Temasek felt the pressure when it was revealed that its top management has a high percentage of non Singaporeans and with Indians being singled out for criticism. And now this report to explain and justify what it is doing.

To Temasek, what it is doing is the best and good for Temasek and Singapore. The Singaporeans may have different views, and the share of Singaporeans in top management is a subjective and arbitrary number. Temasek is very happy with the composition and very likely the govt too. That is its prerogative and assessment. It is a matter of judgement and values and priorities and even personal preferences of the govt and those in charge in Temasek. The people may think otherwise and want it changed.

So, what can the people do about it if the govt and Temasek think they are right and this is the best for Singapore and Singaporeans? Nothing. The people have voted the govt into power and Temasek is an arm of the govt. The people have given the power and consent to the elected govt and the govt/Temasek will think and decide for them.

If the people are not happy with what they see, just do the necessary in the next GE. This is democracy at works. The people decide what is best for themselves through the govt they elected to serve them. Sure, for the moment when the die is cast, for the last two decades, the people at best can cry and scream and thump their chests about their unhappiness. But the ball is in the court of the govt and Temasek to do what they perceived as what the people want versus what they think is good for the country and people. The govt may change some of the policies to appease the anger of the people. The govt may not and continue to do as it pleases. And looking at the explanation of Temasek, they are doing the right thing and so don't expect any changes.

So, if nothing gonna change, change can only take place in the next GE. In the meantime, just gripe and show your anger and unhappiness o be heard or else the natural aristocrats would say no one is complaining, all is well or the people have accepted their fate. That's about what the people can do for now. And comes the next GE, if the people continues to vote the same govt to rule over them, to bring in more foreigners for top jobs, then so be it. 

Stupidity has no cure. And it is best the people shut up and live with their choice and their own stupidity.

The issue of the foreign workforce became a focal point in Parliament last week, pointed out an editorial in The Business Times (BT) on Wednesday, September 9.

And while the piece acknowledges that there are ‘grievances’ from, Singaporeans who have been displaced by foreigners in the job market, it asserts that, at this particular time, the country must remain “open to trade, investment, and talent from the rest of the world.”

What the article said is that Covid19 more serious, forget about the problems of foreigners in Singapore. Open the legs wider and let more foreigners in? The only thing positive about the article is that finally they are willing to acknowledge that 'Singaporeans (who) have been displaced by foreigners in the job market' and no silly bugger stood up to ask for proof that this is so.

Indian aggressive moves in the Pangong Lake, Ladakh

New Delhi: The Indian Army has reportedly occupied heights on the north bank of Pangong Tso which overlook Chinese positions on the ridge lines in the Finger 4 area.  This means that the Indian Army now has a tactical advantage on both the north and south banks of the Pangong Tso.

Mountain warfare is all about dominating the heights, and since they have come under the Indian Army’s control, there are reports that China has started building up its forces on the north bank of the Pangong Tso and is trying to come closer to the Indian position at Finger 4.

The whole Pangong Tso area in the Ladakh sector is on edge with expectation of some kind of action from the Chinese Army to regain lost ground on the south of the lake where India had in a pre-emptive move occupied two dozen strategic heights.

What has added to the tension is the fact that now all the action in the Pangong Tso area is being controlled directly by commanders in Beijing and it’s no longer in the hands of local PLA officers. Posted in deccanchronicle

The above article clearly showed that India had taken aggressive moves into Chinese claimed territories inside China's side of the LAC on the ground that it is preempting China's move that has not taken place and could be fabricated by India as an excuse to make the first move.  In plain language it is like claiming someone is going to burn your house so you make your first move and burn his house first. So who is the real aggressor? And after making such aggressive moves to take territories on the Chinese side it accused China as the aggressive party.

This is typical of snakes speaking in fork tongues, like the Americans, fabricate a hoax and use the hoax as an excuse to invade or attack another country, like Iraq, Syria and Iran. Now without China doing anything, the Indians are claiming that China is going to do something, so they moved first, to prevent China making the fabricated move.  This is a very aggressive country and needed to be taught another bitter and embarrassing lesson before they learn to be a good and well behaved boy.

Indian aggression against China and its immediate neighbours are legendary. India is a big bully in South Asia. But they are pushing their luck too far thinking 36 Rafales fighter aircraft would make them invincible against the PLA. India can continue to blow its trumpet and act aggressively. The world is watching these aggressive moves.  China has not made any move yet but will in a matter of time to drive out the Indians in their territories. 

The aggressor would always win in the first few days, like in the 1962 war. Now India is winning by moving into Chinese territories. Now India even claimed to have tactical advantage, everything in favour of India in a war with China, just like pre 1962 border war. And when they got chased out latter, they would claim China made the first move and is the aggressive party. This is India and its lies. And when defeated, they would find all kinds of silly excuses, claiming they were caught unprepared, their armies were weaker, not acclimatised and all the craps. Now they are telling the world they are well prepared, stronger than China and have made the moves into Chinese territories and in very good position, with superior Rafale fighter jet that one Rafale could take on 5 to 10 Chinese jets. Please don't laugh, this is typical Indian delusion.

Let's wait and see what they say when they are chased out from these positions. China your move next in respond to the Indian aggression.

Stopping trade means China loses too, and Beijing must know the world is watching, says James Laurenceson.

SYDNEY: When Canberra called for an international, independent inquiry into COVID-19 in April, Beijing deployed trade restrictions measures against Australian beef and barley the next month.

And so when the Australian government responded firmly to China imposing a sweeping national security law in Hong Kong at the end of June, the Australian Financial Review’s Andrew Tillett and Mike Smith wrote that “the government [was] privately bracing for a trade backlash as punishment”.

Sure enough, what followed was an anti-dumping investigation into Australian wine, another meat processor having its certification to supply the Chinese market suspended, and barley exports from a major Perth-based grain company barred on food safety grounds. CNA

The above is a clear case of when you are small don't act big. Australia, the American poodle in Asia has been the most vocal against China since the few American crony states in Asean have quietened down after China started to carry a cane. But this self professed white sheriff in Asia, thinking that white is still superior and strutting around like it is the master in the region, continues to agitate and provoke China, thinking that with the evil Empire on its back China would not dare to hit back. They have been poking the eyes of China everyday and smearing China like a good lapdog of the Americans, echoing everything Pompeo wanted them to say and do.

Hitting back is what China did and this little poodle is starting to feel the pain and whining. Oh, a trade war with China would hurt both parties. Really? Raw material and food can be replaced from other sources with equally good substitutes. As long as China is buying, every country would want to sell, including the evil Empire,

But how is Australia going to find an equally big buyers to replace China? NONE! China must continue to squeeze the balls of Australia until they scream for mercy. This white racist poodle must be taught a lesson it would not forget, that it is a little group of white gangsters in stolen territory in Asia and Asia belongs to Asians not white men. so don't muck around in Asia.

China go, keep squeezing this poodle until it puts its tail between its legs.
