Would American peasants still live a life of plenty for Christmas?

If USA consumers are not in panic buying mode now, they must really be zombies not realizing what is heading their way. It is not about having no money to buy but about having the money with nothing available to buy. That is the most fearful part. Money can be borrowed, but needs cannot be borrowed from anywhere.

I think it is optimistic talking about shelves going empty by November. The reality of empty shelves is already hitting USA consumers right now in specific areas and some are complaining about driving long distances to get what they need.

It is an irony having to live with shortages when all through the decades the USA consumers have been living a life of plenty - the American Dream. I hope they can live with that from now onwards.

On the other hand, having seen the lifestyle of the Chinese 'peasants' living comfortable lives of adequacy as disclosed by Rednote users in China to USA counterparts, that must have made the USA citizens really envious. Who are the real peasants anyway? Peasant that can lend money to non-peasants must be the revelation of the century. How is that even possible and how is it reconcilable under logical thinking?

Trade War - Trump swinging a big club blindfolded

While China seeks out weak points to counter where it hurts, all USA does is just blind pot shots hoping to hit China and caused China to collapse. So far, all attempts seem to have missed the target. While China prioritized subsidies to promote innovation in rising sectors like semiconductors, aviation, renewables and EVs, USA prioritize its subsidies for chipmakers with the mindset of making China collapse.

The subsidies thrown at the Chips Alliance is not doing well in countering China. Silence in recent years hides a faltering agenda that is falling apart. It is a disaster in the making. One day the USA may have to try to sneak chip shipments into China using another country as its source, just like soya beans, if China continues to deny entry to USA made chips.

The tariff war is not doing that well either against those who are sturdy enough to retaliate like China, Canada and Mexico. Now we are seeing who have backbones and who are just pretenders and lap dogs obeying its master and groveling at the feet of Trump hoping for a bone or two to be thrown for them.

How is it logically sensible that even countries with trade deficits with USA, like Singapore, are also targeted. It makes no sense. The penguins and seals will be shaking their heads at the stupidity of the USA, probably having more brains that those inside the White House.

Trump painting himself into a corner, poor Americans ready to raid the stores for Christmas. Trump has National Guards to shoot them

The Trump administration is painting itself into a corner it cannot escape from. Trump thinks he is winning battles but is in fact losing the wars. Lying about USA winning on every front does not change the facts. It is just kicking the can further down the road for the next person to deal with and so on.

The USA wants to control the world, but many things are beyond its control already. The sale of USA Treasuries failed to garner the support of the rest of the world in an attempt by the USA to fund its spending spree. The US$ has depreciated substantially over the past couple of months and is beyond the control of the USA as well. Why would foreign funds want to invest in treasuries when the fall in the value of the US$ fails to cover the returns?

Rare earth minerals are in the hands of China, so making weapons for war is not up to the USA to dictate. Rare earth is China's trump card, with Trump having lost his cards to China already. Of course, Trump still has his US$5 million USA visa card to play around with very rich individuals around the world.

Therefore, two important aspects to enable the USA to exert control are already beyond its control. The gloating about manufacturing returning to the USA is at best a mirage, with even true-blue USA entities moving investments out of the USA due to escalating raw materials and labor costs arising from the tariffs on things like aluminum and steel. Business leaders think much faster and further ahead than those sitting in the White House.

We have not yet seen the shit hitting the fan yet with the real onset of the collateral damage arising from the tariff war. Next couple of months will be interesting to watch. By then, the USA may even lose it grip trying to control its domestic problems as a result of the tariff war.

Internally, the USA already lost control over its homelessness problem. Clearing the streets just shifted the problem elsewhere, with housing rental cost prohibitive to street dwellers who had been used to paying nothing in rent and utilities.

Internally, the USA already lost control over its drug problem as well not knowing how to deal with it and trying to blame China. If China was supplying those drugs, why aren't the Chinese people being drugged as well? China learnt a very important lesson from the Opium War and Chinese people are not going to let another opium war weaken their soul and destroy the country like in the past.

India is just a stray dog looking for a master. Only stupid Sinkies will put money in India

Despite its relations with the USA souring and Modi now turning towards Russia and China for support, India is still untrustworthy. Those that think India is now safe after tentatively ditching the USA are mistaken. I said tentatively because India is just a stray dog looking for a master it can temporarily rely upon. India's behavior is not the result of being influenced by the USA. It has a mindset of always thinking it is the future of the world, with the world totally resentful of its boastfulness and always building castles in the air when its capability is limited. India thinks the world needs India more than India needs them, so taking over foreign successful business is not going to matter. Chinese investment is one example that now finds its way into India's neighborhood but avoiding India altogether.

Seizing businesses when they become profitable in India is about the same modus operandi as taking over the top positions in big establishments in the West after they had been successfully groomed and steered by others who founded them. It is a faster way to make money of course, but now India is paying the price for its stunts that are now unravelling.

Suffice to say, India's IT services just catering to crunching information for Western entities is nearing the end of its tethers with AI doing it instead. The Western entities no longer go for India's IT personnel, knowing that Indian IT graduates have not the innovative spirit to handle cutting edge innovations. The facts speak for themselves - no Tik Tok, no Deepseek, no Ali Baba, no ByteDance, no Tencent, no Huawei, no BYD, no DJI, no space stations, no high-speed rails, just empty boasting.

Japan joining BRICS?

The Japanese are floating the idea that Japan is considering joining BRICS. This could be just a Japanese ploy to use as a bargaining chip against Trump's tariff war. All the reasons point to the fact that Japan is a colony of the American Empire and does not have the freedom to break free from the evil Empire. There are at least 50,000 American troops and more than 100 American bases in Japan just to ensure that Japan would always, forever be under the control of the Americans.

The thought of Japan becoming a BRICS member is refreshing, and if it does happen, would shake the whole balance of power and mark the end of the American Empire. When Japan goes, South Korea too would go as well, leaving a useless Mickey Mouse in the Philippines as the only American doggie in the region.

When Japan joins BRICS, G7 would become G6 and BRICS+ will be plus Japan. The GDP of G6, without Japan, and a BRICS with Japan is going to tilt the balance beyond recognition. A bankrupt USA and 5 bankrupt European countries would become the poor man's club, the joke of the century.

The island chain concept to surround China would become non existence. It would start from the Philippines south to Australia. Here lies the problem. How are the Japanese going to tell the American forces to leave Japan? No way. Japan would forever be an American colony. Japan joining BRICS is just a wet dream, a fantasy. The Americans would lock up any Japanese leader that dares to think of independence from the Empire.

Trump and his clowns must be giggling at the Japanese to think that this ploy will work. The vice grip on Japan is the tightest among all the American colonies. The Americans may not say it, but they fear a revived militarised Japan would want to avenge the pains and sufferings from the two Atom bombs, carpet bombing of Tokyo and years of ruling the once mighty Japan till today.  The Americans have reduced the Japanese to an attack dog with a long leash. This is humiliation that the proud Japanese cannot tolerate but gritting in silence. No chance for Japan to be an independent nation state. It is too dangerous for the Americans. Period. And no chance to join BRICS.
