The truth hurts, and being in denial would not help, would not solve anything. There were some great moments and some great inventors in America in the past, but not anymore. The lazy hillbillies are all bloating in their seams, eating and eating, but not working, but demanding to be paid high wages for little work done.
America would never be great again without the talents from immigrants. Not that America was great in the past. America was a nation built on genocide and slavery, free land and free labour, when rudimentary technology was good enough. In today's world, it is high tech and sleek management, robotics and AI. These fields need real talents, need technocrats, scientists, engineers and geeks, not hillbillies and sweet talking lawyers that produced nothing but acting smart and clever with their mouths.
Other than the Jews, America is now totally dependent on skilled and talented immigrants when the local pool of inbreeding only produced dull and unthinking rednecks that believed the good life is theirs to take, without having to work, at best go around shooting and killing others to robe their wealth and land with wars and unending wars. The management of American corporations are now in the hands of the Indians, the new immigrants that made the earlier American migrants looked dull and useless. The Indians should take over the running of America, occupy the White House. It would be good for no talent America, or at least the Indians would be very much smarter than all the clowns in the White House and in Capitol Hill.
On the other hand, the high tech industries and innovations are dependent on new immigrants from China, the top scientists, engineers, computer nerds, the chip designers etc etc. What would happen when Trump and his anti China hawks forced all the Chinese talents back to China? The chip industry and other high tech industries would simply fold up. The talents in Nvidia, AMD, TSMC and Qualcomm, including those in Intel are mainly Chinese.
Turning away the Chinese and the Indians would implode the American economy and its technology dominance in double quick time. There is no more Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg in the pipeline. Elon Musk is also a new migrant from Africa. The new mavericks are immigrants with names the hillbillies would have difficulties pronouncing or remembering.
An American culture that venerates mediocrity cannot survive in the new century of high techs requiring super talents in maths and sciences, not creepy lawyers and unproductive whisky drinking louts in the factory that eat more than they work and demanding high pays. The factory workers are not worth their money in weight and in their fats. It is the grey matter that makes the difference in the high tech industry.
Try to invade and conquer the world once again, to get free land, free labour and free resources with the gun, without having to pay for them, and called it great American Exceptionalism.
