American wet dream to deter China

Kay Bailey Hutchinson, US Ambassador to NATO said this... American wet dream to deter and stop China's growth is based on their plan to form a coalition of rich democracy economies stopping investing in China, stopping creating jobs for China, stopping new technology and funds going into China. China's economy would then collapse, leading to massive unemployment, instability, social unrest and poverty.

This is the thought of a typical American hillbilly living in the 19th and 20th Centuries, and still fast asleep without knowing that the world has moved on into the 21st Century. They still believe in their strong democratic economies ie the bankrupt G7 countries. Most of the G7 countries would collapse before the end of year 2024 if they allowed the Americans to strangle them and coerce them to stop trading with China. Many of them are no longer able to compete with China and the Global South countries in manufacturing goods and services. Their economies are at a standstill, no growth, negative growth. Whether they invest in China or not is irrelevant, immaterial. The hard truth is that they cannot survive without China and many are rushing in to invest more in China, defying the coercion of the Americans.

Those that are too weak to say no to the evil Americans are facing bankruptcies, like ASML, Samsung, Intel and Japanese and European automobile companies. They will go bust first before anything happens to China. And China has the rest of the world to invest. China has the funds and technology and does not need FDI to survive. China is providing FDI to the Global South countries. China's growth may temporary slow down but not for long as it is self sufficient. There is no need for China to depend on bankrupt and non competitive G7 countries.

The American hillbillies' wet dream would bring the American economy down on its knees. The future of the world depends on innovation and collaboration with all parties. American wet dream is based on isolation, America First, and living on antique and obsolete technologies and systems. It would deter and stop the growth of America instead of harming China. The Americans and the West have lost their lead in cutting edge technologies and can only live in their own make belief world of the past, hyping on their past glories...we are the best!

The only game the hillbillies can think of is to make others poorer than them by unethical and underhand means, to trip others, to block others. They would not think of making themselves more competitive and more productive.

Enjoy your wet dream. The rest of the world is not going to wait for the Americans to wake up and be sober and to face reality.

No iron clad commitment. TSMC now in Arizona. Taiwan you die your business

When a protest is a 'sight to behold' even though it is not a real war, it shows the mindset of the war mongers. Ask Nancy Pelosi, the evil witch.

Now they know war and its destruction is not going to avoid the USA. The missiles, the drones are not going to avoid the USA. But for now, as long a war is not on USA soil, the USA tells its allies and cronies that there is an iron-clad commitment that they will help.

That iron-clad commitment did not last in Vietnam, did it? It did not last, even after two decades in Afghanistan as well. How long is Ukraine going to last with the iron-clad' promise trotted out every day. How can the EU still be buying the USA 'iron clad' commitment really boggles the mind?

And Taiwan is now saying that the defense of Taiwan must depend on Taiwanese themselves. Is this an indication that the USA is changing its 'iron clad' commitment to Taiwan? Perhaps TSMC is now not worth protecting with China closing the gap on high-end chip making? The Chip Alliance is losing the chip war. Taiwan has little strategic value I suppose.

Trump's anti war rhetoric that undermines the interest of the Deep State may cost him his life

John F. Kennedy was assassinated for his anti-war stance. All the other shady reasons are just propaganda to confuse and detract the public and the world. The Deep State has control over the CIA, not the USA President himself. Do not be mistaken.

Donald Trump could have been a target for his anti-war stand, though he is still a fan of trade wars and pulling out of legally binding treaties and agreements. Trump just claimed he had a good phone call with Zelensky about ending the war in Ukraine. Zelensky is at the tail-end of his last hurrah, knowing he already lost the war and now wants peace. Trump would be the answer to his prayers and able to save him some face.

I think, just take, maybe just take, Trump's revelation as hot air being blown to win the coming election. Remember the love affair he had with Kim Jong Un during his first term as President. All that glorifying talk about his efforts to de-nuclearize North Korea came to nothing. It just provided Kim Jong Un with two fully paid holidays in Singapore and Vietnam. So, take Trump as just a conman, still able to con the ignorant USA voters.

And for his anti-war antics, it sure makes Trump a possible target for assassination. That bullet missing his brain by centimeters mirrors the bullet that took out the skull and brain material of John F. Kennedy. Anyway, the assassination is now so muddied with so many claims and counterclaims, it boggles the mind. And they have not yet started to fabricate more evidence to corner Iran, with blaming China possibly on the horizon as well. We know how the USA operate.

China operating on different OS and Beidou GPS

China thinks years ahead, not about next year or tomorrow. That is how China now controls most of the raw essential materials and processing logistics that the USA and the West lacks. China worked on this issue over the last two or three decades, not just yesterday.

It is going to take a miracle for the USA and the West to catch up, looking high and low to get at the last remaining bit of such rare earth raw materials left. They tried looking for co-operation with Outer Mongolia for rare earth supplies but could not do so, with China not allowing its port to be used for shipment of raw rare earth materials bound for Japan for processing. Why on earth would the Chinese even be seen to allow that is a no brainer?

The USA is also trying to woo Vietnam to get at their reserves, the second largest in the world, which is also not successful. Who is going to refine them is not a big problem but setting up the logistics or shipping out the ores for processing in the West or Japan for such a venture is going to be a problem with cost. Can they then even compete successfully with China?

Now Chinese Government entities are no longer using Windows nor computers from the West. China has its own operating system called Kylin (I think) which is said to be impenetrable by foreign espionage, its own satellite system by Beidou, its 5G mobile Harmony operating system by Huawei, and also its own navigation system for its military use.

Countries that have axes to grind with the USA or the West are co-operating with China in the use of its Beidou Satellite Navigation system to prevent being held hostage in the event of conflict. In all, 165 countries are on Beidou Satellite Navigation system - from Africa, Middle East (Iran for example) and South America.

The USA and the West have been trying to take out the Houthis missile guided ground bases to little effect. Even jamming them did not work, as mobile bases can be relocated fast and easily in the mountainous terrain. There is no question that Iran is providing the Houthis with the technology for missile and drone targeting of enemy ships in the Red Sea/Gulf region. One question never clearly answered was why can't the USA just cut off the GPS system in Yemen to stop the attacks? And that begs raising the other question of whether they could not do it because of the usage of the Chinese Beidou Satellite Navigation system that the USA and the West have no control over. That is just my two cents worth thinking about it, being a non-technical bean on such complicated matters.

Chinese EV manufacturers must not believe in Trump

Chinese carmakers must never build plants in USA despite Trump's double-talk. It is too risky. Trump is not reiterating an openness for Chinese automakers to build cars in the USA. He is threatening Chinese automakers from building factories in Mexico, clear and simple. That does not amount to real openness in wanting to attract Chinese automakers to the USA. He is attempting to force the hand of Chinese carmakers to move from Mexico to the USA, which is not going to happen.

Trump's stance is just plain rhetoric. Trump's hot air is toxic and those believing in him is falling for a fate as bad as being a friend of the USA. Is the USA really great after Trump's last four years in office?

Chinese carmakers should just continue to invest in Mexico, and elsewhere as long as outside the USA and EU, focusing on producing cheap EVs for the Global South countries. Trump can erect 500% tariffs against Chinese EVs if he likes, but that cannot stop Mexico and others from exporting cars to the Global South countries.

Remember, there is an even bigger consumer market outside the USA and Europe. With countries in Africa, South America, Middle East and Central Asia progressing out of poverty, with help from the Chinese, the market in the Global South will continue to grow. The USA and EU by comparison have a combined population of about 780 million, which is only about half of Africa's 1.4 billion population. And bear in mind that Europe is going downhill instead of improving, which means also getting poorer. Their Ukraine adventure saw to that decline.

Never underestimate people in these poor countries becoming wealthier in time. China was never thought to be such a huge consumer market just thirty years ago, with poverty eradication thought to be unsurmountable. China is today a completely different consumer market that everyone strives to get in and take advantage of.
