Budget 2024 supports for younger seniors

 

The above are parts of the support for younger seniors in the 2024 Budget. There are also supports given to the older seniors in the Merdeka and Pioneer Generations. The big question is whether these supports are sufficient are should be called 'support'?

How much is the govt taxing the seniors, many already having no income, many with their savings dried up, many have their CPF savings emptied, and whether the supports given even measure up to the numerous tax and fee hikes the seniors would have to pay for. Every time there is a tax or fee hike, it is as good as robbing the poor seniors, with many with nothing left to be robbed. No money means no money!

The govt is very proud of the supports being given to the seniors, younger or older. If the supports are in excess of what the govt is taking from the seniors, the seniors should be grateful for the little kindness. If the supports are less than what the govt is taking back, how can it be called support?

The poor seniors, many already drawing blanks from their savings, really need assistance, except those seniors that were used to earn millions and millionaires. Instead of giving them assistance, financial assistance other than medical programmes, it would be merciful to stop adding more taxes and fare/fee hikes on them. 

In simple terms, the support or help must be more than what the govt is taking back from the seniors, especially the many seniors that have no more income. They cannot shoulder the burden of ever increasing taxes and fees or fare hikes.

Have mercy on the seniors while you enjoy your million dollar pay. The poor seniors are living in a dire world of their own, in silence. Stop robbing the seniors!

Americans racing to the bottom...China continues in trade and economic expansion

 China must never believe that by stooping to USA demands over trade and other deals with Russia, that is going to end all the nonsense that the USA is raising and will raise against China. The USA will make more demands given an inch, which will probably be extended to demanding that China must also cut off trade relations with Iran and other Middle East oil producers. Then it will be the same modus operandi with South America and Africa. And this will go on and on with other countries.

The USA's sick motive is to pull China down so that it can appear to rise. Blowing off China's candle is not going to make the USA's candle shine brighter. Lack of competition will stifle their innovation, and the USA will fall further behind, not just to China alone, but a rising India, Iran and Indonesia, the three 'I's. Then it will be a race to the bottom among the Anglo-Saxon Whites.

Trade is China's forte, the epitome of China's soft power, and the USA and the West are now unable to compete with China and losing market share, not just in China but all over the world. Trying to ban Chinese products in North America and Western Europe is not going to work and only worsen inflation and more misery for their people. The BRI implementation was all about expanding trade with countries that would otherwise been unable to take advantage of the ease of transportation of their products. China and the rest of the BRI countries are now reaping the rewards of their investments by following the BRI.

China should continue on its current trajectory and keep trading with Russia and Iran, keep expanding its industrial capacity regardless of the sanctions threat, and most importantly upgrading its military capabilities. Those threats will come, no matter what China does, just like the accusation of genocides in Xinjiang that is still being propagated.

The USA is trying to drag China into the Middle East turmoil, trying to tell the world that China has the influence in the Middle East to carry out a peace mission. Why would China want to do that when the USA, UK and the West keep supporting and arming Israel? Is it even logical for the USA and its allies to tell China to step in to call for peace in the Middle East, when they are pouring fuel over fire over there? Any sensible leader would sniff at that suggestion. After all, isn't it true that they are trying to prevent China from expanding its influence around the world? Why contradict themselves and putting themselves in knots for others to criticize?

On the other hand, only the USA can bring peace to the Middle East by not supporting Israel. That will immediately end the war and the genocides now ongoing. But instead of doing that, the USA and UK are sabotaging any peace moves and buying time for Israel to complete its genocidal mission of making the Palestinians extinct in order for Israel to expand its territory.

The whole world, including University students in the USA, can see clearly that Israel is committing nothing but genocide in Gaza. It is only the USA, UK and the West that are intentionally turning a blind eye to the true picture and denying all the reality. Instead, Blinky is revisiting Xinjiang to take away the pressure on Israel and focusing attention On Xinjiang instead. It is an exercise in futility as the reality does not fit the propaganda.

USA is using everything in its arsenal to steal TikTok

 The USA is using everything in its arsenal to force TikTok to be sold to a USA entity. China tells Joe Biden to 'go back to sleep' and forget about it. Biden could hardly keep his eyes opened, and sleep is what he really needs. Is he on drugs I wonder?

The USA continuously accused China of stealing Western tech from those USA entities having joint ventures with Chinese manufacturers. In any joint venture between partners, there is always an element of tech transfers and partners cannot work together if they resort to keeping whatever advantage they have from their joint-venture partners. What then is the purpose of having a joint venture? That is therefore realistically not stealing, but co-operating, for the mutual benefit of both joint-venture partners. But the USA twisted this around to demonize China and accused China of stealing USA tech.

Here, we have TikTok in the USA that is competing so well, with more than 170 million users in the USA, with Joe Biden and his Democrat followers themselves even using the platform for their Presidential campaigning. And yet they accused TikTok of violating USA laws and pronounced TikTok guilty. What the USA is doing is basically wanting to steal TikTok's operating formula, stop users from posting anti-Israeli videos and above all eyeing the tech that makes it so popular. Byte Dance must never, under any form of coercion, ever sell TikTok to any US entity. Let the USA and EU ban it and be done with it.

Since the USA keeps repeating the mantra that TikTok is collecting user information for the Chinese Government as the main reason for its persecution, leaving the US and EU market makes sense. Byte Dance should concentrate on expanding the user base in the Global South and the countries in BRICS. Most users will welcome that rather than having the app fall into the hands of the USA and being curtailed.

By not letting TikTok fall into the hands of the USA, users can continue to post and talk about issues regarding Israel's genocide in Gaza. This was the real reason that some people believe was instrumental for the crackdown on TikTok, fostered by the Israeli lobby in Congress, not the spying on user accusation which is just a lame excuse to musk the real motive. Of what use are user information that China wants?

No other country has ever threatened the USA with either or else

 No other country has ever threatened the USA with the warning - either adopt 'co-operation' or face 'confrontation'. China is not continuing with its diplomatic demeanor or listening ear anymore. China cannot continue in this way, dealing with gangsters and Mafia elements.

China is telling the USA to stop repeating the same old nonsense each time some USA leaders visit China uninvited. China is sick and tired of the USA using the same old bullying tactic in its playbook of trying to extract a good bargain by posturing its 'position of strength' tactic, by first demonizing China and then visiting, hoping the Chinese leaders are rattled by its rhetoric and posturing.

The message that is given to Biden via Blinky upon his return to Washinton is loud and clear. Decoupling or derisking is no longer a fear that China is succumbing to. Rather it is an issue that China is well prepared for.

Yellen had earlier threatened China with financial sanctions on Chinese banks. That tactic already failed with Russian banks and is going to fail even more miserably with Chinese banks. It is going to make the Yuan even more widely adopted and used and accelerate the de-dollarization moves.

The Russian roble that came under sanction by the US and the West was not as widely used as the Yuan today, and China had put in place Yuan swaps with countries in the Middle East, South America and even among ASEAN countries. These are essential measures that China have undertaken, knowing that financial sanctions are a matter that China cannot avoid. As sure as the sun rising, it is coming.

China can always foresee issues very well in advance, just as it did so well in cornering raw materials and commodities that it needs decades down the road. China even set up all the processing logistics that others do not foresee as necessary. Hence China's supply chain is so well oiled that the West will not be able to replicate even if they tried to. China's overcapacity will do them in even if they tried to. Hence the fear of overcapacity expressed by Yellen is not without basis, but it remains China's right to continue to do so.

Weaponization is not the monopoly of the USA alone using the US$. Weaponization can be extended to many areas that have not been thought possible. And that is not lost on Russia and China. And for that, having the capacity to do it is important.

Anglo-Saxon Imperialist laying time bombs everywhere

 The Anglo-Saxon Imperialist are great in laying time bombs that they can exploit when needed.

On the Korean Peninsula, a time bomb is hanging loose and yet to explode once again. In Kashmir another time bomb is ready to explode. In the Middle East, Israel and the Muslims constitute another time bomb that is on the verge of exploding. In South Asia, the division of India and Pakistan is another time bomb that can be exploited by the Anglo-Saxons. In Ukraine, despite promises given to USSR's Mikhail Gorbachev not to expand NATO towards Russia, the USA vis a vis NATO did just the opposite, brushing the promises aside, and that has now exploded into the Ukraine War.

Now in ASEAN, the USA is using the Philippines to create a time bomb to disintegrate the ASEAN community that is tossing out the USA in favour of China. It is a slap on the face of the USA.

In Myanmar, the CIA is undoubtedly creating and financing the rebels in the border region with China and Thailand, to create unrest and instability. The CIA is suspected to be controlling the drug trade in the Golden Triangle and is an important area for them to control and create trouble for China. And that conflict in Myanmar is affecting relations between Thailand and Myanmar.

The next target of the USA is Indonesia, which is still undecided in joining BRICS. The USA is trying to coerce Indonesia to be its sphere of influence in ASEAN and not to join BRICS. Joining BRICS means an end to the USA's agenda in using Indonesia to coerce the other ASEAN states as a whole to reject China.
