WHO Has Approved Chinese Vaccines, Why Singapore Still So Indifferent?

 

"The World Health Organization has approved the emergency use of a COVID-19 jab made by Sinovac, paving the way for a second vaccine produced in China to be distributed among developing countries.

The UN Health Agency gave the green light to the two-shot vaccine on Tuesday as the jab “meets international standards for safety, efficacy and manufacturing.” ~ a statement read.

“It’s now crucial to get these lifesaving tools to the people that need them quickly,” the WHO Chief said."

The WHO’s approval gives countries worldwide the blanket blank cheque to quickly approve and import the Chinese vaccines for use to protect and save their citizens, especially those who do not trust the US-monopolised Western vaccines that deviated from the tested and tried original method of producing vaccines, such as Pfizer and Moderna.

The longer term negative side-effects for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are still unknown, but can be envisaged.

Now that the super infectious and more deadly B1617.2 variant from India has already spread to at least found in 53 countries, why is Singapore still so indifferent and senseless in not approving them.

Even if the Chinese vaccines have been approved by the Singapore Health Authority (because it is untenable and pure stupidity not to do so), the Singapore leaders have deliberately put in restrictions, saying that they may only be distributed to private clinics and doctors, without government subsidies, and not freely as in the present cases for Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

Why must Singapore leaders display such a clear bias against the vaccines produced in China?

Why must the older citizens/voters who believe in the Chinese vaccines, instead of Pfizer and Moderna, be treated so badly/differently?

The world is woke to Western posturing and global white privilege

The West’s disingenuous position on Israel and its coordinated attacks on China have blown the cover of the liberal narratives it uses to hide a postcolonial, imperialist agenda

Its hypocrisy has been further exposed by its hoarding of coronavirus vaccines and the systemic racism that prompted the Black Lives Matter protests and fuelled attacks on people of Asian descent.

A tipping point has been reached, even if it has hardly been discussed within societies and by political leaders. Across the non-Western world, there is growing awareness and rejection of the hypocrisy, insincerity and insecurity embedded in the Western world with regard to its relations with the global majority.

Western narratives and propaganda took hold across the world over the last 200 years as a result of colonisation and imperialism. Mind capture was a necessary tool of oppression to subjugate people. And despite decolonisation, mental colonisation became the new frontier and remains a key strategy of postcolonial imperialism. Citizens of former colonies remained receptive to Western ideas, having been indoctrinated for so long, and this influence is still actively cultivated via Western soft power as well as through Western education and its global media.

Today, much of the Western world retains the mentality that their nations and “white people” are superior, with the singular goal of retaining global economic dominance. This, even though the rest of the world is acutely aware of the dangers of extreme forms of “White People First” as manifested in Donald Trump and his tumultuous presidency. Yet we still see efforts to actively preserve white privilege, which goes well beyond egregious acts of racism against people of colour.

No American military bases are allowed in any of the ASEAN countries. ASEAN must be firm on this.

     No American military base or bases are allowed in any of the ASEAN countries. The Same goes for its Western allies like England, France, Holland,  Germany, Australia and Japan.

Should the United States try to use strong armed tactics to coerce or force any ASEAN country to accede to its demand to build a military base in either Medan,Penang. Port Klang, Singapore or Johore Bahru then all ASEAN countries must speak with one voice and vehemently object and protest against the US evil design. Then regular mass public protests and demonstrations must be organized and staged in all ASEAN towns and cities by all political parties , workers, labour unions, civil servants, intellectuals and professionals against the US plot to make use of ASEAN countries as  pawns and proxies as front line suicide squads in its illogical confrontation against Russia, China, Iran and DPRK . A US military base in any one of the ASEAN countries is a threat  to one and all ASEAN countries as they are very close to each other in proximity especially, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand. 

In its uncalled for confrontation against China, Russia, Iran and North Korea the evil Americans are playing with fire. If its starts a war with China or North Korea or Russia it may end up with fierce nuclear exchange. Under this scenario any US military base in any ASEAN country will be a willing target for a Russian, North Korean or a Chinese nuclear attack. If the Americans want to die let them go and die themselves. They have no right to  drag any of the ASEAN countries into its confrontation or war against China, Russia or North Korea. By the way the Evil Empire has yet to vacate the Diego Garcia Islands in the Indian Ocean which they illegally occupied and set up a huge US military base in 1967, and to hand back the islands to the original owners, the native Diego Garcians as demanded by the United Nations general assembly in 2018. The Americans also have to pay a few billion dollars as compensations to the about ten thousand Diego Garcians who were illegally and wantonly displaced and dispossessed forcefully by the US military in cahoot with the British imperialist and colonialist in the mid 1960s.

The presidents of Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Loas, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam and the Philippines must henceforth warn the Americans in no uncertain terms to stop its diabolical plots in trying to  use an ASEAN country as a military base in its dangerous confrontation against its self created foes in China, Russia, Iran and DPRK.

No self-esteemed country in the world should allow the United States to make use of it in compliciity with the Evil Empire's perennial intent to bring the whole world under its total toxic control, domination and hegemony. 

The evil Anglo-Saxon white Americans  have nothing better to do then to look for fights and plan for wars to attack other non-white countries day in and day out throughout the years. The satanic United States is now leading  its Five Eyes Anglo-Saxon allies England, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as all other white European countries of France, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Ukraine and Denmark in posting a common front in confrontation against Russia, Iran, DPRK and China so as to achieve once more white overlord, control and total hegemony over all other non-white countries in the world. 

Let this be a warning. Any ASEAN country that allows the Evil Empire or its allies to make use of its territory as a military base to attack China, Russia, Iran or North Korea will be bombed to pieces and possibly subject to nuclear attack. Don't take this warning lightly. Think carefully and tell the evil United States and its gang of savage allies to fuck off.

Covid-19 Triple Mutation - The Super Infectious Indian-UK Variant

 

Vietnam has imposed a ban on all international flights to Hanoi and other areas.

China has stopped international flights to Guangzhou Province and other cities.

Malaysia has locked down for two weeks.

Elsewhere, the super-spreader of the B1617 variant from India is spreading fast and furious in many countries.

India, the super-spreader country for the B1617 variants in the world for the last three months has still refused to lock down and close its borders or ban flights, thereby allowing the B1617 variants to spread to other countries intentionally.

Singapore is going to follow India by keeping its borders open in order to import more B1617 into the tiny congested island so that its residents can get infected more easily and die faster. Why so stupid?

Covid19 - Danger of more big waves

Fully vaccinated people infected with Covid variants may be likely to pass the virus on, researchers have said....

Researchers at the University of Washington in the United States sequenced samples from 20 health workers who went on to contract Covid after receiving both doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.

The study showed that all 20 were infected with variants of concern that have been driving second waves of Covid in many parts of the world – eight had the UK variant, one the South African variant, 10 had one of the two California variants and one had the Brazilian variant.

The researchers then compared the samples collected from this group with samples collected from 5,174 non-vaccinated individuals who had Covid.

While everyone in the vaccinated group had a variant of concern, only 67 per cent of non-vaccinated individuals did. The study also showed that the vaccinated individuals infected with Covid had high viral loads....

Dr Pavitra Roychoudhury, the lead author of the study, said the "prevailing understanding" was that while vaccine breakthrough cases would occur, they would be mild.
"But in contrast to that, what we saw among our 20 samples was that a number of them actually had quite robust viral loads. That was concerning in the sense that there was definitely enough virus to sequence, and potentially there might be enough virus to transmit," she said.

The above report says that the potential risk of spreading more deadly variants would come from people that have been vaccinated.  These people would have mild symptoms of infection or even asymptomatic. Some would carry unusually higher load of virus in them but appearing to be healthy and normal.

And with many irresponsible govts and even scientists encouraging those that have been vaccinated to go around living as normal, no need to wear masks, go socialising, make close contacts, promiscuity etc etc, you can bet this group of people would be happily passing their viral loads to their contacts and causing more waves of infection, and may even spread more new variants that could prove even more deadly, having survived the vaccination regimes. Those who have been vaccinated think they are safe. This may be the case, they are safe themselves, but unsafe and a danger to others if they are carriers of heavy loads of virus in them. They could become the big spreaders.

The pandemic is not going away and could carry on for a long while to come, and with more adverse consequences. It just goes on to the next level of lethality. 

In Hsien Loong's address, Singapore is trying to go for herd immunity quickly by vaccination. It is good to reach heard immunity, but the danger of reaching herd immunity is that we are safe to open the island and allow more travellers to come in, loosening up of control measures so that life can be as normal as before. 

Why is this dangerous? How can we be safe and open up when some countries are losing control with the virus, in many dangerous variants in their people, and let these people easier access to our country because we think we are safe, because we have achieved herd immunity?  The eagerness to open up too early means risking more deadly variants hitting our shores from high risk and unsafe countries.

The mutation of the virus is very dynamic and unpredictable.  It is not going to stop at B117 or B1617.2. The only thing predictable is that many new variants would crop up, and can be more deadly and can still infect people that have been vaccinated. The vaccinated may not be protected from the new variants. Until the rest of the world is safe, we cannot be safe even if we have herd immunity. Don't end up like Taiwan or India. Don't be reckless.

280,000 seniors are still not vaccinated. I am one of them. I am still waiting for the Chinese vaccines that somehow are yet to be approved after such a long time. OK, mRNAs are safe.  But I prefer traditional vaccines that are safer. Please approve the Chinese vaccines in warp speed, better if the one shot vaccine is made available. The people must be given a choice to choose what vaccine they are comfortable with. It is their lives being affected. Let the people decide.

PS.  It is reported today that Sinopharm vaccines could be used on conditions that it would only be available in the private sector.  The govt would not use it nor would the govt subsidise it. Why, why, why? Sinopharm is definitely cheaper and easier to administer.  Why is the govt distancing itself from this Chinese vaccine?
