A normal kopitiam at night in Singapore. Typical night life of the average Singaporeans in a govt built housing estate.

Xiaxue granted court order to expose Internet Brigade for harassment
‘Local Blogger Wendy Cheng known mainly by her online moniker, Xiaxue, has gotten a court order to force Satirical Facebook Page SMRT LTD (Feedback) to stop harassing her.
The court order also apparently requires the page to post an apology and reveal their identities.
Acknowledging the receipt of the court order and legal letter from Xiaxue’s lawyers, SMRT Ltd (Feedback) posted an update on their facebook page explaining that they intended to follow the requirements and will reveal their identities:’
The above is quoted from an article posted in TRS. The new anti harassment act is taking effect with the first batch of anonymous bloggers waiting to be reviewed under court order after an application by blogger Xiaxue.
The bloggers that are here with an intent to harass me or anyone personally, please take note of this new act. I can be generous but don’t push your luck too far. I am waiting for an apology from Raymond. I have given him enough time to apologise for the life threat against me. I have yet to press the button.
To all my fellow bloggers, I hope we will all have some peace in our provocative and thoughtful discussion on national and social issues from now onwards and be free from harassment by Internet Brigades posting as anonymous bloggers henceforth. We can accept and even tolerate strong and robust views, but nothing personal and degrading. Let’s raise the level of discussion on matters close to our hearts.

SMRT – Revisiting the thinking of the sick
When SMRT
was first introduced, there was the thought that travelling in public transport
could be gracious, clean, smooth, convenient, fast and stylish. Then the money
making mind set in. We want to be like Tokyo, crammed them in to the fullest,
hire pushers to get as many commuters into the train as possible. Make the
seats as small and narrow as possible to max the limited space. Good for the
revenue. Nevermind the squeeze, discomfort and inconvenience. Nevermind the
smell in this humid tropical island, never mind the unwashed foreigners. Who cares
about gracious living. Gracious living was just a thought or meant for the rich.
After some
crying and kpkb, there was a return to sanity. Instead of squeezing everyone
into the train, they realized that there is another option, provide more
trains. Silly that they did not think of it and only thinking of squeezing and
squeezing. Have more train lines and more trains, higher frequencies, and
encourage off peak travelling to create room and space.
But this
kind of thinking is only meant to be short lived. They are going back to the
old thinking, squeezing more people into the trains. The latest idea, tip up
seats, to create room and space. Uncles and aunties, sorry hor. In this money
minded island, everything is about making money. You oldies, legs weak, no
seat, just too bad. What gracious living? What more trains? There is a maximum
capacity, when reached, you cannot squeeze more trains on the lines. And there
is a need to prepare for the 6.9m or 10m. How to increase passenger load?
I got a
better idea. Shrink the population. I mean shrink the physical bodies. Feed
everyone with a shrinking drug to half their size and the capacity will double.
Or get our scientist to develop a shrink capsule and put the people in, and out
comes all the midgets.
You want
10m? 20m also can. When you make the population smaller in size, everything will
fit. Eat less, use less space, productivity sure to go up. Use Science, not
dull brains of the past trying to push a square peg into a little round hole.

Financial advice for the ‘have nots’
I
over heard this young financial advisor offering his expert advice to a few
have nots on how to manage their finances. He earnestly told them that they
must learn financial planning to manage their income and expenditure. If they
don’t do financial planning, they would always be in financial difficulties.
And the govt cannot help by giving them handouts. Giving them a few hundred dollars to tie
things over is futile, not effective. It is all about financial planning.
The
few have nots listened intently, kept nodding their heads to the good advice.
Before they left, they thanked the finance advisor profusely for his wisdom.
After
they have left, the couple of friends of the financial advisor turned to him
and asked him why he wasted to much time explaining to the have nots about
financial planning. The financial advisor smiled. Then he spoke again. I
divided my clients into three categories. The first category was those who
earned millions. For this group, no need to tell them anything about financial
planning. They had all the money they needed, and more. Got financial planning
or not, never mind. They could spent and spent, and lost and lost, but still
got plenty of money left to enjoy life. Talking to them about financial
planning was a joke. But he said that he
still needed to give them some advices to earn his keep.
The
second group was those that had some money and needed to manage them wisely or
they would lose them and money became not enough. This group came from the
middle income. To this group, financial planning was important and made a big
difference to their finances.
The
third group was the have nots. To this group, financial planning was a waste of
time. How to make financial planning when eat also not enough, everyday trying
to make ends meet? Telling them about financial planning is ‘seow’. They have
no money to plan. Money in money out the next moment and still not enough. What
they really need is a job that paid well. What they need was money, even
handouts, charity.
His
friends agreed. But why did you talk to the few have nots about financial
planning? The financial advisor smiled. ‘What do you expect me to tell them?’ I
got no money to give them, so it is best to con them about financial planning
and they would think that it was their own stupidity, dunno how to plan, that
was why they got not enough money. He burst into laughter. It was so easy to
con the have nots and put the blame on themselves for their poverty. ‘Financial
planning for the have nots? You must be joking.’
What
a talented young man.
The Finance Industry – Who are the real criminals?
Big
international banks have been caught for all the things that they were not
allowed to do, money laundering, cheating on their clients, selling toxic
products, using computers and algorithms to cheat traders, creating fictitious
derivatives that are worthless to sell, like printing money, even selling the
gold in Fort Knox and the vaults of some countries even have their national
gold bullions emptied.
Some
banks have been fined for cheating, violation and criminal offences. Some
traders have been caught and found guilty. For the banks and traders cheating
on the system for profit, they knew that their acts were criminal. They knew
that when caught, they would pay the price for the infringements. Oops, I have
to correct this statement. The CEOs of the banks would not be made to answer,
would not be put behind bars. There have a special immunity from financial
crimes.
It
is fair game out there for traders to try to outsmart or cheat the system.
Every profession you will have people doing that, to take advantage of the
system, to find loopholes, to use privilege information, to profit from them, nothing
new and nothing to crow about. But they know there are cheating and can be
caught. They are not above the law.
What
is bad, is the ultimate crime when regulators and govt who are supposed to be
regulating and approving financial system to condone or allow and approve
unfair practices or systems to operate legally. How can govt and regulators
knowing that a practice or system is wrong, unfair, cheat on the innocents and
allowed it to be part of the system? This is the ultimate crime, when the real
criminals are the govt and the regulators. And the same govt and regulators
would go around talking about ethics, honesty, fair practices and not doing
anything that is criminal. Just look at the financial system in the USA and the West and you will
get what I mean. It is simply operated by crooks with govt and regulators
backing.
Singapore is an exception. Trust
me. I just cannot find any faults or flaws in our system. If you don’t trust
me, you must trust the priests and monks and the highly moral and upright super
talents in charge.
Welcome
to the 21st Century of hypocrisy at the highest level when the
crooks and criminals are in charge.

SGX versus Remisiers – Who is the referee?
The Stock Market is collapsing, the industry is dying, remisiers are resigning and leaving, business has fallen to an intolerable level that some remisiers are earning less than a cleaner. On the other corner, the Stork Market is doing well, and improving, getting betterer, more trades, more volumes, more participants, more products, in the pink of health. Many measures and improvements have been introduced by the SGX and everything is fine.
Obviously one is lying through the skin of his teeth. Which one? Who is to judge and call the bluff? The facts cannot lie and it does not need a rocket scientist to know the truth. But no one is saying anything, or have they said and concluded that everything is fine?
This is like two guys inside a lift. One farted, and both got into a heated argument on who farted. Sure, between the two of them they jolly well knew who farted. But the outsiders looking from the outside would not know who the liar was. But if one has a vested interested in the argument, one could side with the side that favours him. A neutral party would or could easily prove who the farter was by smelling their pants.
Guess the verdict? Would the real farter stand up or be asked to own up? Is it so difficult to know the answer? Would the referee still be thinking, thinking hard or would he be assuming that everything is fine? No thinking needed?
Maybe it is better to set up a committee to look into it, a board of inquiry, ya?
Touch your heart
Many of you out there are professing that you are all kindness, wanting to look after the less fortunate. I ask you one simple question, ‘Are you real?’
Touch your heart and ask yourself, are you cheating on the oldies, the senior citizens, of their money, their life savings? If you are, you know for sure what you are doing, please repent. You still have time to repent before the curtain falls. Do not let your evil ways catch up with you and regret when it is too late.
Do not cheat on the oldies. Do not cheat their life savings under the pretence of being kind and helping them.
You cannot run away from your evil karma. Trust me.
Phillip Ang – Stand up against PAP’s flawed housing policy
Phillip Ang wrote an article calling for the singles, divorcees and single parents to stand up against the PAP’s flawed housing policies in the TRE. The small issue that I would disagree with Phillip Ang is that Sinkies have this daft habit of being swayed by shifting goal posts. Today someone sells them something for $10, tomorrow the same thing for $100, and the day after for $1,000, the Sinkies will then think $1,000 is acceptable and used it as the new reference point.
The good PAP of the past took the road to the dark side when they changed the housing policy from providing cheap and affordable housing for the people, to give the people a roof over their head, a stake in the country, to paying a ransom for a leased flat that in all counts is owned by the govt. Several unfavourable policies followed suit when the mission was changed.
From affordable housing to market priced housing, to asset enhancement, to not building enough to meet the needs of the people. And now everyone is paying for a hot potato that they believed would only go up in price when the truth is that it would end up worthless at the end of the lease.
And they still did not know why all their life savings are gone? Do I really have to put down the numbers, 1,2 and 3 to show them that all their money that should be sitting in their CPF accounts for retirement has been transferred out because of this change in housing policy?
It is not only the singles, divorcess and the single mothers that should be standing up to this flawed housing policy. Everyone should be standing up to it, for paying for something at so called market prices that made them feel rich when it is just an illusion, a transient thing, with a zero bottom line and the depletion of their life savings.
Can see this or not?
Medishield Life panacea, now CPF panacea
Or is it Medishield Life panadol, CPF panadol? Another panacea in the making? The committee members are so happy. Hsien Loong is also so happy that he even said the CPF is a good scheme getting gooder, not his exact words. But it is a scheme that is getting betterer and betterer. I can hear champagne bottles popping and corks flying everywhere. A great scheme and a job well done.
Singaporeans are really fortunate to have so many super talents helping to govern the country and to rule them. I am sure the average politicians in the world would not have thought of such great schemes to better the lives of their citizens. The rest of the world must be very envious of Singaporeans and how well their lives are gonna be.
There are so many things to talk and praise about these two great panaceas. I am so excited that I lost the cork of my champagne bottle. It must have flown out of the window. ‘Now where is the cork?’ Just a glimpse of the great stuff in the new approved proposals. How many of you have your salary adjusted for inflation every year? Some may get more with promotions and increments. Only very few did not get any increments. Is there anyone out there where the company gives you a raise to compensate for inflation?
In this proposal, the CPF account holders will have the privilege of their savings being adjusted for inflation so that its value will not be badly affected. There will be a 3% adjustment to the retirement sum, I take this as the minimum sum, to account for inflation and rising household expenditure. Like that it means their income from the CPF when they are eligible to withdraw will always be enough. Whether an account holder gets a raise, no raise, or jobless, he will still have to make up for this 3% adjustment with his CPF savings.
Employers that did not compute an adjustment to the salaries of their employees to account for inflation and rising household expenditure should be put to shame. Maybe this will be the next step the govt will be taking to make it compulsory for employers to do so. What do you think?
I just do not know where to start on this CPF panacea. Let me just touch on those things that were not said, not recommended, but spoken loud and clear by this proposal. One, you are not going to get back your CPF money at 55 that CPF account holders are expecting. And when you get back some, the large portion of your CPF savings would still be stuck in your CPF account. Two, the govt still retains the right to decide how, when and how much of your money you can use. You Do Not have the right to decide on your life savings. Three, many of you may die young, before 55 or 65, sorry, you would not have the pleasure to enjoy your life savings. Four, many of you will leave behind quite a sum of money after you pass on in life in your CPF accounts. And for this, make sure you sign the right form to allow the balance to be taken out in cash by your beneficiaries and not transfer to their CPF accounts unless you so decided. Five, the minimum sums would go up and up, oops, I mean the Medisave Minimum Sum. Six, there will probably be more committees set up to make the CPF even betterer in the future if there is another Roy in Hong Lim.
I am lost for words for the moment. Let me recollect myself and my thoughts before talking about the details and the fine prints. Very tired, really. Am I happy with this new proposal? Or are you happy with this proposal?

Where is my gold?
Ah Gong struck Toto and a $3m windfall. His problem started when news of his good fortune spread to all his relatives. He did not trust the banks. He decided to buy $2m worth of gold bullion, and his first problem of safe storage began. He could not possibly keep them under his bed in his HDB flat. Then came his rich First uncle who offered to put the gold bullion in his company’s big safe. Who could be safer if not his uncle, and also very rich.
For many years Ah gong was pleased with his gold bullion in the safe of his First uncle. He could sleep in peace, with a perpetual smile printed on his face. He started to become suspicious when he told his First uncle what he intended to do with his gold when he retired. What he did not know was that his First Uncle had lost heavily in the casinos. He still looked very rich, throwing his money around like he got plenty of it.
Things took a bad turn when his First uncle told him his office was broken in and his gold bullion was gone. His life savings for retirement and all the beautiful plans vanished in thin air. Ah Gong was lost and in despair. Then came a little hope. The robbers offered to return his gold for $2m. Ah Gong’s gold was worth more with the prices of gold crossing the $1,000 mark. He bought it much lower.
Ah Gong was not very clever, just an average citizen and could easily be conned by the clever robbers. His First uncle brought with him his smarter 3rd uncle, a professor. He told Ah Gong this 3rd uncle could negotiate with the robbers for a lower sum and the return of his gold. Ah Gong was so grateful. Don’t ask me why the robbers were willing to trade $5m worth of gold bullion for less.
Anyway, the story had a happy ending. The clever 3rd uncle came back with a very good deal. Ah Gong could have his gold back for $1m, a 50% discount. And the rich First uncle volunteered to pay first since Ah Gong did not have the cash. See how helpful First uncle was and how grateful Ah Gong would be for the return of his gold, only had to pay $1m and saving $1m. Happy like fart.
The moral of the story is that Ah Gong was very happy and grateful with the new deal. Didn’t know if he was conned. The First uncle was very happy for obvious reasons. The 3rd uncle just shared some goodwill and be greatly appreciated for his talent and negotiating skills. Now he walked around looking even smarter. And Ah Gong continued to put his gold bullion in the safe of his First uncle. The uncle assured him that the gold would be safe as he had installed a new security system. The money would be very safe with him. Who else to trust than ‘kaki lang’, and very rich some more? Ah Gong had a good deal.
I rather have my gold under my bed.
From City of Garbage to a City of Drunkards
Sorry drinkers, you have been had not because you misbehaved while a bit high. The problem of drunkards and their litter all over the island and the threat of safety for our womenfolk are not something to be trifled with. Before the descent of these foreign hoards of drunkards, we have no problem with the Singaporeans drinking anywhere as they like. There were some problems once a while but not a national problem. Though there is no statistics to show the number of crimes related to uncontrolled drinking all over the island, I believe the govt must have enough grounds to impose this ban. It must be serious enough for this to happen.
This is a city that was the pride of anyone living here, locals and foreigners, to bring up children. I think a line has been broken, when crime related to unrestricted drinking in every neighbourhood must be intolerable for the govt to act against their darlings, the very nice foreigners. They clamped down on Little India and they started drinking everywhere. Think for the safety of your loved ones, the mothers, wives and daughters, coming home alone and walking pass a bunch of drunkards all high and losing their senses and restraints.
I don’t think this new drinking ban is against the locals. Our Singaporeans have been drinking for centuries, before and after independence, and there was no need for such a ban. What is the solution if not this ban? There are 2m of them out there and saying that they are prone to misbehave when drunk is an understatement. Ask the taxi drivers for first hand encounters.
For those who are advocating free drinking in my neighbourhood or backyard, please think carefully before you speak. Who are those who would drink all over the place, even in the parks, in the beaches or at barbeque corners? We have a problem, and a very serious one for this ban by the govt. Don’t wait for something nasty to happen to your loved ones before you regret arguing against this ban, unless you have a better solution.
It is about safety and security. It is not about the unsightly garbage and the smell of filth. Those drinkers in the authorized kopitiam and bars would not be affected I think. Those who have to drink all over the place are the target of this law. You want statistics to prove why it is necessary?
天变 – The Mavericks are appearing
A thunderbolt struck yesterday. In the calm morning of this tropical paradise turned Garbage City, there was a blinding flash that shook everyone from their idle and mindless pursuit of money to get richer or to make ends meet. M Ravi, the ‘tainted’ human rights lawyer made his announcement to contest in the next GE in the AMK GRC held by the Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. And there was a roar of approval in the social media. It was something so unexpected, and coming from the popular Ravi, is going to send shock waves all over the island. And his team this time is no small fries, but mainly lawyers that cannot be brushed aside as unworthy. This must be one of the more credible teams to stake a claim for a GRC in the next GE.
And there was silence from the ruling party. It is something they never expect and it unravels the whole plan they are making. How to handle somehow like M Ravi, a totally unpredictable lawyer with his own following for his pro bono cases and taking up cases where angels would flee.
Sin City will be seeing more Mavericks appearing on the political front. Chee Soon Juan was too early in his time. But he must be happy to be joined by the newcomers, the Chen Show Mao, Tan Jee Say, Paul Tambiah, Ang Yong Guan, Roy Ngerng, Tan Cheng Bock with everyone rooting for him to come forward, Leong Sze Hian, Han Hui Hui, and many others in this little crowd. They are coming forward.
M Ravi is looking like a catalyst that could prompt more able Singaporeans on the sideline to make a bid for it. Many must be pondering on a political role to do something for the people of their beloved country. Many must be very unhappy with the state of affair and the direction the country is heading and wanted to step forward. And this could be the moment. This is real. The political scene has never been so fragile and begging for a change. If anyone out there wanted to do something for the people of this country, this must be the moment they are waiting for. Everything is working towards change. And change is waiting to happen and beckoning them forward to make the change.
It is now for history to make the defining moment and waiting for the Mavericks to come forward. As the clock ticks, one by one will appear, like a calling, a duty to do something good for the people and the country.
Hear ye all. This is your calling, this is your moment. No more hesitation. The dam has collapsed.

Buying online from Amazon, ebay etc
Hi everyone,
I am in the processing of getting new advertisers for the blog. Just go easy on them. It would be good if you people are buying online to give some business to the advertisers.

Yukawa and Goto – Déjà vu for Abe
Abe and his hawks are furious. It is like 911 happening to Japan. It is like the attack on Hebdo in Paris. All these were nothing compared to the massacre at Nanjing and the millions of Chinese and Southeast Asians killed by the Japanese during the invasion by the Japanese Imperial Army. But why are the Japanese up in arms asking for revenge? Abe said he would not forgive. The fucker expect the Chinese and silly Singaporeans to forgive Japan for the invasion and massacre in WW2. The rest of Southeast Asians also quite happy to forgive the Japanese for invading their countries, killing their people and looting their treasures.
Now why is Abe and his warmonger hawks so angry about? Oh it was the beheading of two miserable Japanese by ISIS. To the Japanese this is an earth shaking event. It is the perfect reason Abe is waiting for, to rearm Japan and return to the Japanese Imperial military past. Yes Japan now has a good reason to rearm and go to war. Japan is planning to send troops to fight the ISIS.
For the last part, sending Japanese soldiers to fight the ISIS, I support. I would like to see how good the Japanese soldiers are against the ISIS fighters. I would like to see how the ISIS deal with the Japanese Imperialists. I would like to see how the USA and the West come out in support of the rearmament of Japan as a military power and conducting warfare again like the past, like the Americans and the West.
Abe and his hawks must be celebrating and shouting ‘Déjà vu!’ It is a godsend excuse to rearm Japan and to go to war.
The sun rises from the West
This morning I was in a state of disbelief, that the sun rose from the West. When I opened the Today paper and this headline smacked me right in the face. ‘We need consensus before moving ahead: DPM Teo.’
What more do I need to say? What do you thing? Did we get a consensus on PWP? Yes, the consensus was in the Parliament. Did we get a consensus on the Medishield Life? Yes, the consensus was in Parliament. Did we get a consensus on the CPF? Yes the consensus was in Parliament. Did we get a consensus on the influx of foreign trash? Yes, the consensus was decided by dunno who. Was there a consensus on the out of this world salaries?
We need a consensus to move forward? ‘We’ means who, deaf frogs? Ya, did anyone say deaf frogs? The consensus of deaf frogs!
Can someone tell me what is this ‘We need consensus before moving forward’? Oh, I get it. It’s election time. We need the consensus of the masters. Did I get it right?
Clean city? Singapore not there yet: Vivian
The above is the title of an article by Samantha Goh in the ST on 2 Feb to hammer in the point that Singapore is a dirty country. It also implied that Singaporeans are still guilty of littering and needed to get their acts together. There was also a photo of the litter left on the Alexandra Arch Bridge, tissues, plastic bags, beer and liquor bottles, plastic bottles, food wrappers. Guess who did it? The jokers and jesters would immediately blame the Singaporeans.
The ordinary Singaporeans who have been walking around and knew who the culprits were do not need second guessing. It is the foreigners that littered the public places, stupid. Don’t blame it on the Singaporeans.
Singapore is not yet a clean city? Where have you been? For kids who were born yesterday, they can be forgiven for their ignorance. Are you a Martian? We were a clean city in the 70s and 80s. We were very proud of this fact and accolade. The whole world was in praise of our beautiful city, clean and green then. Every foreigner stepping out of Changi would be wowed by our clean and beautiful city. Of course you won’t know with the blinkers over your eyes.
What happened? Please look at your darling foreigners. They are the filth that were brought in here to litter and dirty the place. Get rid of your darling foreigners and we would be clean and green again. Get rid of them and the trains and buses would smell good and clean again. There are just too many of these filth living among us and bringing down the quality of life here, and the cleanliness of our once beautiful and clean city.
Please come down from high heavens and be real. Please say the right thing and do the right thing. If not, we would not only be a dirty country, we will slip from 1st World to 3rd World with the presence of so much filth in our midst, in your watch.
We have been there!

GE 2015/16 – Steady Ravi
Lawyer Ravi has placed his stake at AMK GRC for the next GE. He is going to stand as an independent. His stand, Singapore for Singaporeans and compulsory and equal importance to the four official languages. I think no Singaporean can disagree with his mission. His Singaporean First message is similar to Jee Say’s Singaporean First Party mission. The two can surely work out something if Ravi cannot find enough candidates to stand with him. For the moment there are natural and ready candidates like Roy Ngerng and Han Hui Hui. In fact he would have too many to handle if he were to include the other few who were charged together with Roy for the Hong Lim Saga. Just make sure there is no three corner fight.
Have no fear. Ravi already has a team comprising his legal colleagues of Charles Yeo, Liew Zheng Yang and Rubendran.
As for the promotion in the use of the four official languages, it is timely with all the changes taking place. This would preempt the call for other major languages to be included as official languages like Hindi and Tagalog. Luckily Chinese is already an official language or the PRCs would demand for Chinese to be included.
Looking further ahead into the future, the equality of the language will be a natural thing to be. The population composition could be, just an example, 40% Chinese, 30% Indian, 20% Malay and 10% Others. So getting everyone conversant with all the languages is something to look forward to. The problem is in the details. If English is going to be subplanted, and the other major ethnic groups would insist on speaking their official languages we may have another serious problem in the making. Ravi needs to think through this.
Anyway, let’s wait and see what Ravi can make out of it in his political quest to be the PM of Singapore and winning the AMK GRC. AMK is going to be a hotly contested GRC. Maybe it should be divided into two, then Ravi can contest in one and Jee Say in the other.
Just a glimpse of the future to come.
CPF – Why must the people beg for the return of their money?
CPF is the people’s money, a life time of savings. What makes the few
elected individuals think they have the right to decide on what to do
with the people’s money? Tell us, the people who put their money in the
CPF, who are you and what right have you, how clever are you, to keep
our money at your fancy, that you know best how much the people can have
their money back, and how much to return to the people?
WHO ARE YOU? WHAT ARE YOU? Are you God, supernatural, human beans of abnormal intelligence? To me you are just boys and girls who happened to be elected by the blind voters to form the govt. Period. Do not act too smart or smug. You are ordinary like every Sinkie, nothing more, nothing less. Stop behaving and acting like smart asses.
It is high time to stop all the wayang and committees to look into the CPF money and how to keep them and not to return to the people. There is no good reason to keep the money that belongs to the people. Return the money to their rightful owners. It is the right of the people to decide what they want to do with their life savings, to take it all out or to put in the CPF. You just provide the alternatives and the choice is with the owners of the money. No one has the right to dictate to the people on the use of their money. It is NOT your money. Keep your paws away.
I say this to you boys and girls, before you start to think clever, to have bright ideas about other people’s money, ask yourself this question,
WHO ARE YOU?

ISIS’ Moral Lessons for Japan
The lasting legacy of Yukawa
and Goto
by MIKOspace
Japan
society remains shaken over the last 2 weeks in unprecedented shock over the
beheading of its 2 citizens, Haruna Yukawa and Kenji Goto, within a week of
each another, by the Islamic ISIS Group in Syria. Goto, a respected journalist working mostly
in the war zones, reportedly went to Syria in October 2014 to try to
secure Yukawa's release.
There is
no justification whatsoever for ISIS actions. And no senseless deaths of
civilians could ever be condoned by any decent human being in the world.
Nothing in this Post is therefore intended to demean or devalue the life of
Yukawa and Goto, as well as the many others who have fallen victims to
ISIS-like inhuman and evil acts throughout the centuries.
It must surely
be Deja Vu for many in the older generations in Japan. The thought and video of
cold-blooded beheadings must surely evoke national memories kept hidden for
nearly 70 years since the end of World War 2 (WW2). Japanese Prime Minister
Shinzo Abe condemns the latest inexplicable killing, and calls it a "heinous act",
sharing deep anger and commiseration with his fellow Japanese amidst
understandable grief, sympathy and sorrows.
Such “heinous” acts are not strange to the
Japanese, of all people.
Former Japanese
WW2 soldiers should have no difficulty seeing the similarity between ISIS standing
over Goto and Yukawa just before their respective beheading and a Japanese
military officer standing with drawn Samurai sword over one of the 300,000 Chinese
in Nanjing and several Chinese cities mostly beheaded (see picture) in a similar
manner. Even babies and little children were not spared by the Imperial
Japanese.
Older
Singaporeans will also remember the beheading of nearly 70,000-90,000
Singaporean Chinese during Operation Sook Ching by the Japanese Occupation from
1942-45. Younger Singaporeans should visit the exhibition galleries in the Old Ford Motor Factory at Bukit Timah, the former factory site where the British
surrendered to the Japanese on 15 February 1942 to see and hear the memories of
those who survived that tragedy.
The Japanese
national position has been to deny that the Nanjing Massacre, and other wartime
atrocities ever took place under its benevolent Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity
Sphere campaign in China and South East Asia from 1935-1945. It has refused stubbornly
to apologise for what never took place!
Even Japanese history
books are re-written to de-emphasise such “heinous” conduct of the
Japanese during WW2. The denial of WW2 atrocity is the key
mission of the influential revisionist organization Nippon
Kaigi.
It
is reported that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is among its 35,000 members, as well as 15
of his 18 key members of the government following the 2014 reshuffle. Japanese Prime Ministers and other Key Japanese politicians also
regularly visit the Yasukuni Shinto Shrine where Japanese had enshrined its top
14 leading WW2 war criminals among the 1,068 other WW2 war criminals who
committed “heinous” atrocities, to show their respect and reverence.
Imagine
if ISIS were to follow the Japanese Model in remembrance of ISIS members who
commit “heinous” acts of evil and decide to build a shrine to include the
cold-blooded murderers of Yukawa and Goto? Imagine also that ISIS leaders
regularly undertake a pilgrimage to this Shrine to honour and revere especially
those who did the beheading of the 2 Japanese citizens? Imagine further that ISIS dismisses any “allegations”,
even withdraws its own video, of its beheading that never took place? Imagine after all these, ISIS tells an astonished
Japan that there is really nothing to apologise for since the beheadings never
took place?
And if
someone were to suggest dropping a nuclear bomb on ISIS, assuming ISIS can so
targeted, it should be remembered that not one but 2 atomic bombs merely end
the Japanese War, but did little to make her feel remorseful or penitent to
seek forgiveness and repentance.
This
week, having been confronted by evil as great or greater than herself, Japan should
begin nation-wide honest conversations over its own “heinous” past acts. Yukawa
and Goto’s contribution to Japan social development may be to inspire his
countrymen to confront historical truths and facts squarely and to recognize
its own culpability in the prolonged pain and suffering in her victims as a
result of her denial and recalcitrance.
The scars
of Yukawa and Goto tragic deaths may never healed until Japanese takes active concrete
steps to heal the wounds and painful memories of those whom she has inflicted
much deeper wounds and pain. The
lasting legacy of Yukawa and Goto lies in bringing the Truth of Japanese war
atrocities into the living room, classrooms and social conversations.
Ironically,
ISIS’ only moral but greatest lessons in Yakuwa and Goto may well be to finally
bring a remorseful and recalcitrant Japan onto its knees in deep contrite and
regrets to owe up to its own similar beheading spree of innocence and other
evil deeds 70 years ago in the Asia Pacific.

Fort Knox is empty
The most secure and reliable fortress where govts deposited their gold bullions for safe keeping by the US govt is empty. So is the vault of the Canadian govt bank when the Canadian govt’s gold was stored. Incredible, but the world is still living with the lie. And some govts, like Germany, just did not know what to do when caught in a situation knowing that their gold kept in Fort Knox was gone too.
Watch this video to know the scary truth of how treacherous the US govt can be. I hope our gold is not in Fort Knox for safe keeping too.
Be wary of what you think is the truth and the people you think you could be trusted. Everything looks so beautiful, but it is not real. The real world is full of fiction.
And better still, they keep encouraging govts to put their gold there for safe keeping, including keeping with the IMF and World Bank. Watch this video carefully and listen to them carefully. The deceit is complete. Or shall I call it the perfect theft?

When pride of nation is lost
Many would not have forgotten the audacity of the Pinoy to take pot shot at Sinkies and harbouring the thought of Singapore becoming a state of the Philippines. Would such a migrant, work permit or employment pass holder, working in the Arab countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar or the Emirates dare to utter such nonsense? The consequence would be their hands or heads being chopped off. At the most lenient, they would be sent on the first flight home.
The foreign workers, include white collar workers, know their right and proper place in a foreign country that is generous to offer them employment or they would be jobless or hungry in their home countries. They are reluctantly grateful and will do their work and be respectful of the locals for being kind to them. They will collect their pay and go home quietly, thankful that they could get jobs and get paid very well, anytime better than the pittance they got at home.
These foreign workers in Thailand, Malaysia or Indonesia, also know that they are there at the generosity of their host nations. If they misbehaved, rude to the locals, or dared to insult or beat up the locals, they could be chopped to pieces and fed to the fish in the rivers. The host countries are kind, but they always make sure that the foreigners are there as their guests and must know their proper place, and not to offend the locals.
The citizens of these countries are proud of themselves, their country and their dignity. They can be generous but not silly, not stupid, not daft. They would not tolerate being abused by foreigners, to be insulted and despised by foreigners who came to take their jobs and enjoy their hospitality.
In some countries, the locals, the citizens, forgot that they are the masters and owners of their land. They allowed foreigners to come in freely, take their jobs, take their women, buy expensive homes, enjoy all the good facilities, and kick them around, bully them, shit on them, and hit them as and when they feel like it. And what would the locals do? Turn the other cheek or walk away meekly. Some would tell them to laugh it off. It is ok to be abused by foreigners in our own country. Some would even suggest to the locals to integrate with the foreigners and learn to be like them.
When a people has lost its pride, it dignity, what is there left for them? Some have a lot of dignity from having a lot of money, like pimps living off the earnings of prostitutes. With this kind of money, they too have little pride and self respect for themselves. They knew that they need the foreigners, they are fearful of the foreigners. They will appease the foreigners, take their threats seriously. They will pray to the foreigners like gods.
There is no hope for the inhabitants of such countries when they do not know who they are, and belittled themselves, to think that they are daft and and stupid and the foreigners are the smart and talented ones.
What hope is there, what future is there for the inhabitants of shameless countries, when there is no sense of ownership, no sense of pride and dignity?
Singapore must not degenerate into such a pathetic state when Singaporeans lose their own self respect, their self worth and sincerely believe they are stupid, no longer able to compete with the so called talents of the 3rd world with suspicious qualifications. Singaporeans must believe in themselves, that they are good. If they keep listening to the mantra that they are stupid and 3rd world fakes are better than them, then they should just go and jump over any cliff they can find. Their lives would not be worth living if they really think all the 3rd world craps here are better than them.
Wake up Singaporeans, stand up and take back what it rightfully yours. This country belongs to you. It is your birth right and no foreigners must think that they can come here and replace you and screw you.
What is happening to the proud and industrious Singaporeans that built this island from 3rd World to 1st World? When your papa and mama, your kong kong and ah mah could do it, with lesser education than you, to build this country to what it is today, why can’t you do better? Why are you allowing the 3rd World inhabitants to shit on you and take your jobs? Soon they will take your homes and your country if you still continue to sleep.
