One of the lies that is still being touted my USA trolls had been that China is only capable of making junks sold to the USA. All the things sold at Walmart are junks, if that is indeed true. Why are USA citizens buying them? Are they not stupid to do that? So, USA consumers are really stupid if that is what they are trying to tell us.
The first and most obvious contradiction to those narratives that comes to my mind are iPhones made in China. Are they junks? In fact, the best iPhones are made in China, not India and not anywhere else. Why are Europeans not buying iPhones made in India and going for those made in China? Are they also stupid and buying junks?
Is a genuine imperial Ming Dynasty Vase a piece of junk made in ancient China? If so, why are people paying millions of dollars to own them? The most valuable cargo salvaged from sunken vessels of past centuries are always the porcelain pieces that were shipped from China to Europe. Are those considered junks as well? If so, why are people willing to pay millions to own a piece?
Apart from all these things, there is an ongoing disinformation about China's Tiangong Space Station being touted as another junk (more like sour grapes), bridges touted as 'toufu' bridges and also junks collapsing all over China, Chinese EVs are said to be junks catching fires all over China (not in Los Angeles I hope), China's 6th generation fighter jets are junks compared to USA's F22s and F35s, China's Fujian Aircraft Carrier is a piece of junk compared to USA aircraft carriers.
I think I am getting breathless and speechless listening to all the misinformation and disinformation that the US$300 million has been able to generate.

Trump is dismantling USAID, the USA organization responsible for fermenting propaganda, funding foreign news media, destabilizing governments, inciting regime changes on top of directly working with the CIA using NGOs to create chaos in countries that the USA cannot get along with.
The decision by Trump, for once, is great news for the world. But this is just a four-year hiatus, until the next administration, takes over. USAID is using humanitarian excuses to use USA taxpayer's money to fund insurrection in other countries by making use of their media, supporting NGOs working the ground and the CIA working discreetly to undermine legitimate governments.
Media outlets in many countries, beholden to USAID, are going to be affected by USAID funding that required them to propagate USA misinformation and disinformation. They have started to cry for help from people they had been lying to.
In honesty, in Singapore, news media like States Times have already lost much of its readership and credibility and have long been consigned to be just fit for picking up dog shit when walking the dog. Channel News America is also openly known to propagate pro-USA and anti-China propaganda, and those who know avoided it.
Trump probably also knows that USAID funding of such news outlets have not been worth the returns, with social media on the internet playing a bigger role in news dissemination. After all Western MSM always report almost the same news manufactured in a facility in the USA and disseminated to them to publish. I think I am not wrong about that.
