Facts:

Singapore's population is 5.85 million, while India's population is 1.38 billion today. 15 years ago, Singapore's population was much smaller.

Question:

Who in the world would sign an agreement of exchange of "free flow of talents" with a country of 1.38 billion mouths to feed, knowing fully well that his own country has only 5.85 million people?

Answer:

Only Singapore's Pseudo Leeders who claimed themselves to be outstanding talents in order to make themselves instant multi-millionaires within one or two years. No one else.

Comments:

1. ALL the other countries that signed the RECP refused to allow India to take advantage of them by including the terms from the CECA agreement, specifically those concerning the "exchange of free flow of talents" clause.

2. Until today, the idiots who have made the grave mistake are still trying to defend themselves with all sorts of excuses and refuse to make amends.

3. If CECA continues in force, Singapore will be "captured" by India without firing a single shot, in the not too distant future. The writing can be clearly seen on the wall. I have no doubt about it.

4. As it is today, the Indians, both local and foreign, are in control of Singapore already. Most of the powers are in their hands.

5. Under the leedership of a very sick man, the Banana has been out-manourved and out-witted by the Mangosteen.

6. Singapore has become the "Sick Man Of Asia", from 1st World To 3rd!

7. A prodigal son will spend all that his father had saved and destroy all that his father had built. This story has been played out in clear view for all to see. Yet the dafts cannot see, cannot feel, cannot think. It is going to be a very sad ending. So, bite the teeth and wait for it to come.

8. The saga of the high almighty CAG chairman vs a low-salary maid (Giant Goliath against Tiny David) depicts exactly the sad story of Singapore today for all to see and feel. This real life story summarises everything into a single episode, if anyone has bothered to see it in wider perspective and think deeper.

Did the govt use a generation's worth of savings to combat Covid19?

 “We have used a generation's worth of savings to combat a crisis of a generation. We must therefore ensure that our fiscal balance is put back on a stable path when the economy recovers ...” - DPM Heng Swee Keat, in MoF’s addendum to the President’s address.

With great respect, this is nonsense coming from the Hon DPM. By any sensible measure of national savings, a S$50+bn draw on past reserves does not represent anything close to a generation’s worth of government savings - or if it did, then the Minister for Finance, and the management of our reserves investment institutions, should be promptly fired!

That’s one reason we need an elected opposition in Parliament - to check the PAP when it’s statements fall off the rails."

Remember the 10m population misinformation or disinformation or 'spreading lies' or whatever Vivian called it, this 'generation's worth of savings' is coming very close to it. What does Heng Swee Kiat meant by saying 'a generation's worth of savings'?  Was it a figurative statement, not meant to be read literary, or an unnecessary exaggeration? 

How much is a generation's worth of savings? $50b? So little or too much? What is the real number? A generation is not about one year but 30 years. A generation's worth of savings is about 30 years worth of savings and can be quite substantial.

Looting is not protesting, setting fires is not protesting - Biden

 When China was first hit by the virus from Fort Detrick, USA, the Americans, laughed, sneered and painted China like a leper nation, closed down air traffic from China. What happened next? China stopped the virus from spreading across the country, contained it in Wuhan and prevented it from spiralling, keeping the infection at 85,000 till today.

What happened in America? When one Covid19 case emerged, Trump said it would go away. Today there are more than 6m infections in the USA with more than 190,000 deaths. The death figure is more than the number of people infected in China, more than double that. This is karma, retribution, God's punishment against this evil country and its evil people.

God's fury did not stop at just spreading the virus across the whole of America. The Americans were agitating and supporting the violence in the street protests in Hong Kong. And they celebrated the lawlessness in the streets calling it a beautiful sight. This beautiful sight has shifted to the USA. The violence is growing daily and will burn America to the ground once the white extremists start to come out on the streets to shoot at the blacks and Latinos. They are sabre rattling and the blacks are also coming out with their guns. And now the Americans are singing a different song. While they encouraged the street violence in Hong Kong and condemned the Hong Kong govt for trying to put it down, this is what Biden said of the violence in the streets of America.

"Looting is not protesting, setting fires is not protesting," he said.

"None of this is protesting. It's lawlessness, plain and simple, and those who do it should be prosecuted."

Really, aren't this the pride of America, freedom of expression, freedom to demonstrate and to protest? How come this is lawlessness in America but freedom of expression and human rights in Hong Kong? The hypocrisy of the evil Americans is not going to get lost in the eyes of God. God is watching and is furious. 

The fury of God has started following the spread of Covid19 virus across America. Now you have street violence. And there is this massive fire in California, millions of acres on fire. God said not enough as the evil Americans have not learnt anything and is still causing troubles around the world. So God devastated Louisiana with the worse hurricane the state has ever seen. After Hurricane Laura left, it was like a war zone.

Have the evil Americans learnt? If not, more fury from God will come their way. Just you wait. Just continue to stir troubles around the world, to oppress other people, sanctions to cripple the economies and lives of other people. Go and provoke wars, start wars. You shall pay for your crimes against humanity. Your end is near, evil ones.

Trump's hatred for black people

 Reuters has reported comments by Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen for his disparaging remarks about black world leaders. This is quoted from Reuters, 'Cohen worte that following Mr Mandela's death in 2013, Trump said: "Mandela f**ed teh whole country up.  Now it's a s***hole. F*** Mandela. He was no leader." Cohen also alleged that Mr Trump said: "Tell me one country run by a black person that isn't a s***hole. They are all complet f***ing toilets."'

This is how much love and respect Trump has for black people. I am not sure if he considers Indians black people. Maybe not as many Indians are in high places in the USA and CEOs of many American companies. If Trump thinks Indians are black people, then it is likely that he would ask them to be removed from those positions. He has only stopped the inflow of Indians seeking jobs in the US after Covid19.

So Trump may have high regards for Indians like Singapore leaders and don't mind or would encourage more of these talents to be employed in their respective countries in highly paid positions, in jobs that Singaporeans did not want, like CEOs of banks.

Trump's black people are likely referring to the Africans and Afro Americans, the people that they hunted as slaves to slog in their farms. Not India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. When is Trump going to visit India, maybe in his second term.

$4,500/$5,000 is a talent according to the Singapore govt

The govt has just raised the amount to qualify for Employment Pass to work in Singapore from $4,000 to $4,500 and $5,000 for financial industry.  This adjustment is due to a change in policy to go for quality instead of quantity. A foreigner earning $4,500/$5,000 is now a quality employee, a foreign talent. In terms of annual income this is at most a pathetic $67,500/$75,000, inclusive of 3 months bonus.

According to Chok Tong, anyone earning less than $500,000 annually is mediocre. But foreigners earning a miserable $67,500/$75,000 is a talent, a quality that is good enough to be called a foreign talent. Sadly many Singaporeans earning more than this but less than $500,000 are regarded as mediocre.

When a person's worth or talent is measured simply by a number, perhaps it is too simplistic. Obviously there are many people that are walking idiots or doing sweet fuck all, sweet nothing, but earning grandiose salary because of the right connection or family business. Tiok boh?

It is quite sad that a person's real worth is measured by what he earns. Many of our Ah Longs, Pimps and bookies are probably above mediocres, very talented if income is the only criteria. Same as those jiak liao bees, doing nothing but collecting millions, also very talented.

Trump supporters' boats sink - Act of God

HOUSTON: A Texas boat parade in support of President Donald Trump's reelection campaign ran into trouble on Saturday (Sep 5), as multiple vessels took on water or sank, authorities said.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office "responded to multiple calls involving boats in distress during the Trump parade on Lake Travis", it said on Twitter. "Several boats did sink."

There was no evidence of foul play, sheriff's office spokeswoman Kristen Dark said. No injuries or medical emergencies were reported at the parade on Lake Travis, located northwest of Austin.

"Some were taking on water, some were stalled, some were capsizing, it was all types of different things," Dark said.  AFP

Trump's boat parade put up by his supporters ran into trouble that was abnormal. It is very unusual to see more than one boat in trouble in such events or in a sports event. Here, several boats were in trouble, took water and sank. Can you believe it? Bad American boat building? Or it is an act of God?

Looks more like a super natural force at play to wreck havoc to the Trump supporters and to mess up Trump's reelection bid. Darkside said, '...it was all types of different things.'  Yes, all types of different things are sinking for supporting Trump.

How many Indians has DBS employed in DBS India and DBS Singapore?

Hsien Loong has brought this photo out as a case of fake news.  Readers may be misled to think that this is DBS Bank in Chennai Business Park or DBS Bank in Mumbai Financial Centre.  Oops, what's getting on me, I mean Changi Business Park and Marina Bay Financial Centre.  So readers please take note, this is a DBS branch in Mumbai, India. So naturally you will see they were all or mainly Indian employees.  I think DBS has about 10 to 16 branches in India.  If this is one branch, then how many Indians have benefitted from DBS Bank's investment in Indian and got a good job paid by DBS?

I was also told that foreign investors starting a business in India must employed Indians only as employees, ie from the CEO to the lowest level staff, ie 100 per cent Indians. I stand corrected on this. I am not sure how many Singaporeans are employed in DBS India at the top after DBS invested billions to start a bank? There must be at least one or two Singaporeans to act as the watchdogs in case the billions be used as someone's ATM when the top management are all Indians and not Singaporeans. This is basic finance and asset control and management. I am sure DBS would have put in the people and procedures to make sure its money would be safe, and not be looted one day, in one way or another in a far away country when hardly a Singaporean is in the top management of DBS India. I checked the organisational chart and only chanced upon a vice Chairman in the Board of Directors that is a Singaporean, I presumed. Not sure if there is any Singaporeans in executive roles and in finance of DBS India. I think there sure be.  We cannot be so trusting with so much money there with a few Singapore keeping an eye on it, like trusting the foreigners here managing the critical IT systems and operations of banks.

In total, with so many branches in India, how many Indians were employed by DBS Bank? And how many Indians were employed in DBS Bank in Singapore. Added together I think the number is quite substantial. I wonder if there is an Indian company under CECA in Singapore that has employed as many Singaporeans here or in their India HQ as DBS Bank. Maybe all the Indian companies in Singapore added together would not employed the same number as DBS Bank's Indian employees, especially in good paying jobs like top bank management jobs. But we know that a few hundred thousands of the CECA Indians are in good paying jobs in Singapore.

I hope the MPs in Parliament can ask a few simple questions about how many Indians DBS Bank has employed in India and in DBS Singapore.  Hsien Loong has said that there is nothing to hide and he is prepared to answer all questions. This could be a good start. Hope the MPs would take this good opportunity of a new openness in the govt to tell all, to answer all questions and not getting answers like what is your intent for asking such questions or answers cannot be given because the answers are state secrets.  

After all the hypes and assurances made about how CECA benefited Singapore, Singaporeans need to be informed and convinced with numbers to show that this is the case and not a one way agreement that benefited India more than Singapore. With so many hundreds of CECA Indians benefiting from it, it is strange that so many Singaporean PMETs and fresh graduates are out of jobs or underemployed and finding a job so stressful and painful and difficult.

Don't tell us, show us the proof, in Parliament.
