Nuclear waste water is safe, that is if....

A state regulator in Minnesota said hundreds of fish were killed after a nuclear power plant was forced to shut down due to a radioactive leak. A previous breach at the same site caused hundreds of thousands of gallons of contaminated water to spill into the environment.

The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) said an estimated 230 fish were killed not by radioactive contamination, but as a result of the shutdown, which was initiated last Friday after another leak was discovered at the Xcel Energy Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant near Minneapolis....

The contaminated water carries the radioactive isotope tritium, 400,000 gallons of which poured into the ground from a broken pipe before the leak was noticed last November. Though the plant operator and local government were aware of the issue for months, the public was not informed until mid-March.
Tritium is a mildly radioactive isotope of hydrogen, often found in water used to cool nuclear reactors. The only way it can affect people is if they breathe it in or drink tritiated water, said Daniel Huff, an assistant commissioner at the Minnesota Department of Health.   RT

The Americans said hundreds of thousands of gallons of contaminated water spill into the environment and only 230 fish were killed. And the fish died because the shut down stopped warm water flowing into the river. The fish were not killed by contaminated water from the nuclear plant. Therefore, therefore, contaminated nuclear waste water is safe. If you believe in this shit, then there is not problem disposing nuclear waste water into the river and into the ocean.

For this reason, if you believe it, then Japan can happily release all their nuclear waste water into the ocean. It is safe.

US ends Iraq War...so easy, it's over

Lawmakers voted by a 66-30 margin on Wednesday to repeal the two authorizations for use of military force (AUMF). The 2003 Iraq War, which was illegal under the UN Charter, was started by then-President George W. Bush’s administration on the false assertion that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction that could be used against the US.

“The United States, Iraq, the entire world has changed dramatically since 2002, and it’s time the laws on the books catch up with those changes,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a New York Democrat, said before Wednesday’s vote. “These AUMFs have outlived their use.” He added that keeping the authorizations in force creates the risk that a future administration will abuse them to circumvent congressional authority over war powers.”  RT

Oh, the war in Iraq is over. The civic minded, guilt conscience or kind and compassionate American lawmakers said so. Then what? Pat your backside and walk away as if nothing has happened?

Americans and the Brits are no longer calling the shot on OPEC

Everything has a beginning and an end. It could be due to mismanagement, misuse, or due to arrogance, which eventually will lead to the stage that nothing can stop the crash into ignominy.

Even Empires like the British, spanning more than half the globe, came to a sad end. 'Britannia ruled the waves' was what they touted. Now Little Britain could not even have a White man, good or capable enough, to rule over them. They can continue to sing 'God save the King' ruling over a little island, and posturing and pretending they are still an empire. Likely they need God to save the 'Fisher King' guarding the Holy Grail, the last island left in the Empire?

The illusion of perpetual hegemony, with military might giving it protection, and backing it with oil instead of gold did not work either. USA is not the only major oil producer calling all the shots. Now OPEC+ is slowly ditching the pricing of oil in US$, and that means countries do not need to keep vast amounts of US$ to buy oil. Countries are now able to do it in their own currencies, Ruble or Yuan. That is just the first step. Getting right the settlement system as an alternative to SWIFT is the next move being explored by the BRICS. That will start the real tsunami of de-dollarisation. It will take time, no doubt about that.

Janet Yellen's on the spur of the moment suggestion, to have an oil price cap against Russia, plucked from the air, is not even expected to work from the start, and crude oil prices have now moved far above the cap. And Europe in particular is having to buy Russian oil, under cover, far above the cap price of US$60, but still undoubtedly paying cheaper prices than buying from the USA. India, China, Saudi Arabia and OPEC+ are laughing all the way to the banks, making a killing and helping Russia overcome the energy sanctions imposed by the EU and USA. That, by the way is 'weaponisation' of oil to counter the 'weaponisation of US$ hegemony'.

That the West is now accusing China of helping Russia financically is plain horseshit. China can buy cheaper oil from Russia, which are highly discounted, and very much cheaper, and that is basically taking care of its own interest, the same with every country. Why are they not accusing India or the Saudis doing exactly the same thing? Are they not helping Russia in like fashion? The USA can no longer dictate. The more it tries, the more it will accelerate the de-dollarisation move by the rest of the Global South.

On a closing note, can we say that Russia is really isolated as they tried to propagate and pretend at the start of the Ukraine War? Now the USA is trying to flog a dead horse by claiming that Taiwan is not being isloated. Really? Losing recognition from nine countries since 2016 to China after Tsai became President is not material? Denial can never do its work, when reality hits!

Anglo Saxon Whites still think the Africans are stupid

 

The Anglo Saxon Whites have created all the past wars in Africa, pitching one side against the other, and while Africans were fighting each other, the Whites happily stole all the resources, even kidnapping their menfolk to work as slaves in the USA.

Many African leaders are now digging up all the dirt and crimes committed by the Anglo Saxon Whites that destroyed much of Africa. And the fact that they distinctly dislike the Whites trying to demonise Russia and China every time they visited Africa, and trying to lecture them on human rights and gay issues is a very telling sign that the African leaders fully resented such moves. What other bargaining chips does the Whites have to retake Africa?

Kamala Harris thinks her visit to Africa is going to turn around the support of African leaders and dumping Russia and China. She must be dreaming. From the speeches and reactions of African Leaders, it can be seen that the USA and the West have now lost Africa for good.

They may try to use force on African leaders once again, but it is not going to work. Now, it is guns against guns and not spears and bows and arrows against guns. Africa, with a population of 1.4 billion that is growing, and a continent whose size in total dwarfs even the USA and EU combined, is too big to take down in today's context. And it is a continent of such vast potential in growth that Russia and China have long envisaged, and which they have been working for decades to cultivate their good relationship. In fact Russia, China, North Korea and Cuba have been supporting Africans in their anti-colonial fight for decades. That support has never faltered. And the African are thankful for that.
