Even Workers Party gone to sleep

Eng Hen has taken to task the silence coming from Workers Party over recent events. Apparently since the parliamentary glare, nothing much was heard from the Worker Party camp. Now, if this is true then it is very unbecoming of a political party trying to represent the interests of the people. They need to be heard, to be seen to be doing something, if not speak louder on issues for the people. Did they? Did they speak in their party news or party website and not reported? Or is it true that they just kept quiet about all the social and political issues that are happening around us? The internet is still very active with a lot of issues being raised, in TOC, in Littlespeck, in Molly Meek, and also in Redbeanforum. I will be very disappointed if Workers Party has actually gone to sleep and not talking about all the issues. Or is it that the TOM are not reporting on their stand? If Eng Hen is right, then it is a sad development for alternative political parties here. They must be active all the time, no need to mount street protest, just speak out to be heard. So far only the SDP has been doing the job. What happens to the rest? Reform Party is still new and needs sometime to get off their feed. Is there a SDA or SDP or something like that? What other political parties we have? I can't even remember their names.

nope they have not gone to sleep, the youth wing had been organising forums on issues that will affect the youths...

By the way 2 forums have gone by...both online and press media were notified..

as serious political parties, it will be to their benefits to kpkb more often and be heard and seen.

if non partisan bloggers can have so many things to talk about, and political parties have nothing much to say, it is not a good reflection of their worth.

Is this Dr Hen ambitious or what? It's not as if he gonna be the next PM, why so on the ball? While the rest of cabinet kept a low profile, this bugger fan the flame.

I would rather bargain hen keeps his mouth shut and deliver than to score cheap political points. He better deliver as he is certainly no bargain.

i think his salary was used as one of the key benchmark for ministerial salaries. luckily we are paying him well to get him into politics and everyone is happy. except me. i don't agree with his cpf life insurance.

looking at another angle. it is good to wake the opposition parties up now. otherwise in the next GE they will be branded as only seen during election, after that all went back to sleep.

wake up man!

Non partisans will always say they deserve more space and you cannot shoot them because they are non partisans. of course that's why they can say anything they want without responsibility. Who will take them seriously?

What is SDP doing? Just recycling news makes them the most engage-tive on the net?? Anybody can do that and some people who do it start to think they are some star bloggers.
