What kind of media we have

They claimed to be professionals, well trained, well qualified and paid to do the job as a profession. They claimed to report factually, the truth. They claimed to do a lot of fact checking to ensure accuracy, and very well researched pieces too. They also thumbed down the bloggers and cyberspace forumers as gossipers of no substance. They are the chosen and respectable ones. And they have the msm to prove that they are pristine professionals with their works in print and paid for, every letter and words published. They are valued for money. Ngiam Tong Dow thinks that they should just fall back on straight factual reporting. No need to think or think too hard. After all their opinions are unlikely to be of any value or not wanted unless.... What you people think of the media?

"What you people think of the media?"

Not credible. Most on-the-ball doing national service. ALL reports are slanted to make the state look good.
Even constructive writings critical of the state never see the light of day. Definitely a propaganda media.

it is not just the msm that is not credible, but also that few who regularly make pleasing speeches to promote themselves. one lady often appeared patronizing when she regurgitated policies without any apparent conviction in her speeches, as if she's educating retards.. that's the impression she gave me..

The MSM is as clear as day that they are the newsletter of the party. Even the so-called critisms of the establishment are watered down to the point of talking about nothing. Written for the sake of occupying print space and appearing to be "constructive".

If you ever notice, the writers that are "critical" of the government are pretty high ranking writers, like the Chua lady. And we know her history and background. They are on "approved" writer list.

They are only credile for the English syntax used, but for the content.

TYPO CORRECTION

They are only credile for the English syntax used, but NOT for the content.

Just reporting the good news and ignoring the bad news is also reporting the truth, but it is slanted propaganda. Someone called our ST a 'propaganda rag'. How apt.

A rag spewing propaganda for a long time will start to believe their own shit and it becomes the truth after awhile. Keep telling yourself lies every day and even the most stoic person will start believing shit smells good if our MSM keeps harping on it.

The LOCAL JOURNALISTS HAVE NEVER BEEN TO GEYLANG AND ROWELL ROAD. They are pure and innocent and avoid all sins and evils. As such, they know nothing about the realities of tyranny and schemers.

Redbean, me born a Singaporean, though my late father said I from heaven and my mother said me is god given, I feel I am born in shitland. A complete atheist, so I told my parents I did not understand their beyond third dimension understandings.

Me no Malaysian and is 100% loyal to Singapore and loves it too much! But feel unlove by my country.
