A creepy silence

Two days have passed without any incidents. The silence of Khairy and Hishammuddin and their likes is quiet creepy. Let's hope they take the decision of the people in their stride and reflect on why UMNO lost. They have contributed a great part to this debacle. They got corrupted with power in their head. Mahathir is happily blaming Abdullah for his ineffectiveness. Actually the person that needs to be blamed, the one who seeded all the nonsense in Malaysian politics is Mahathir himself. He orchestrated everything and set the tone for what was Malaysian politics during his reign. He allowed all kinds of excesses to run wild, and this is the result of his bad management. The politicians have had a ball of a time lining their pockets. The judiciary was in his pocket and beholden to him. The whole govt machinery were run by UMNO for the interests of the politicians. Corruption was rampant but accepted as the way of things. The irony now is that the stone he cast away, will now be seen as the possible saviour of Malaysia. In Anwar Ibrahim there is hope that there will be a new Malaysia for all Malaysians. No, it was not Abdullah's fault. He inherited the mess and all the cronies. UMNO is doomed and need to be cut down to size, minus the opportunists of course. Are we going to see a run on UMNO, MIC, MCA and Gerakan? Will the defection becomes a runaway avalanche? The party is over for UMNO.

Not to mention those charges that he throw at Anwar just to get rid of him.
But hey that is politic as said by Anwar.
So now target shifted, Blame Abdullah not that he have not been blasting at abdullah prior to election over Proton nor stop because of his health.
Mahathir is pathetic :)

that's what makes mahathir great. he thinks he can get away with everything. now he is trying to add more people into his list of enemies.

when they gang up against him one day...

i am really worried about what some of the buggers in UMNO are thinking or planning to do now. the only saving grace in this is that the malay voters are turning against them. but not much of a consolation if they really decide to the the dastardly thing.

dr.M must be beside himself with laughter with his... ok, i made a mistake, i'm sorry, let's replace him.. i think singapore needs colorful and fiery figures like anwar ibrahim and dr.M more than air; if nothing else, they are such great entertainers. i guess whenevr politicians set agendas and views that are divergent to the peoples's needs and naively believe in their own propaganda and invincibility, this will result.

i thought pak lah lacks clarity when he mumbled that singapore and hk are places with single-ethnic populations and their progress should not be compared directly with that of multiracial Malaysia... it is a profound statement that Seems to contain startling admissions.

Mahathir seems to favour Najib for now, but I guess Najib should know what he is getting into, if he does in fact become the PM. He could then become the next target of the quarrelsome one if he also continue to dismantle Mahathir's "Malaysia Boleh" legacy of waste.

redbean is spot on, it was mahathir's fault. and he is sorry. but what he did is nothing new, as mao had also cast away the stone which later became the cornerstone in china. i suppose that's how diamonds are polished.

mahathir is the greatest agitator. not sure about his role in the 1969 riots.

if he keeps on agitating, it may be an excuse for some jokers to turn it into a big disaster.
