NKF Story - Return of the Chairman

Richard Yong and his wife will be back after holidaying in Hongkong. He will soon be reunited with his right hand man in Changi. Maybe a new venture will be conceived given their enterpreneurial skills. Charity or Fashion Shows in aid of prisoners will be an innovative idea.

i read some of the comments in other forums and found the anger is still very strong. they would have to watch out if thrown into prison. the hardcore prisoners will not be too kind to them.

it will be grilling time.

life is so ever changing and you won't know what is coming next in your life.

What do you think a successful singaporean TYPICALLY looks like?

To me, they are cold, calculative, self centred and self obsessed, a couldnt care less dun give a dammn abt you demeanor. A typical Singaporean chooses his friends well, dun suffer fools, is secretive, dun give two hoots abt anything that moves outside his small circle, scolds and abuses the typical workers be it the maids, hawker cleaners or anything that appears "low" life; to him they are life's losers and deserves to be poor, unhappy or sick.

That's the reason why I SELDOM see these singaporeans ever helping out, at charity or political events. Why bother to help others when you dun gain anything. Focus on helping yourself and get the most in life. Upgrade your car, your house and your financial assets.

Just look around you, your rich neighbors and colleagues. The rich just want to be super-rich. Selfish obsession seemed the things smart people do here. You must learn to live with them and learn from them.

The rich help themselves, because helping the poor does not benefit them one bit. The poor can empathize with the poor and are therefore more likely to help at charitable functions.

This is the SINGAPOREAN'S MANTRA from the top down!!! So no need to reason so much crap in the forums. Just let the rest drown in their bad luck and sorrows while you watch intelligently from a distance!

i wonder what's all the fuss abt the man. so what if he is arrested, you think he was caught unprepared? what will they do to him, hang him?

no, maybe he goes in 3 weeks or 3 months and after that he will say he has no right to think abt this or no right to say that.. and act just like a completely reformed person who have been thinking every second and minutes in jail term abt how to do good ...

after that everyone will believe and love him again.. maybe give him a job in the tv station...

if one reads that a singaporean is out to grab whatever he touches for his self interest, then everything is a big hypocrisy.

i am afraid it is.
