How not to make friends?

I was staring at the Today paper this morning. And staring back at me, on the top right hand corner of the front page, titled, Where Money Talks, Some of Asia's least and most corrupt countries. Standing right on top is the famous brand, Singapore. Right at the embarrassing bottom, Indonesia. The thing is that there are many ways of presenting data that can help to blow our own trumpet without blowing foul air at people whom we have no reason to dismiss. Why can't the column just post the top 5 best and leave it as that? Or is it our nature to tell the brutal truth? I am best, you are last!

The report is important and we must constantly publish it to ensure that the angmoh dun short the wrong market the next time they come to town.

tit for tat will not go anywhere. no need to play the same game with them unless absolutely necessary.

the angmohs are now the biggest speculators of currencies and stocks. unfortunately they can get away with murder while the local small boys always got hanged.

That may be so but I am glad to be featured at the top and it is all that matters. Period.

i agree. what matters to us is to be at the top. no need to apologise or feel shy about it.

what is below is not for display in public. it shouldn't bother us.

Thats the right way to go.
The press should not be too concern about politics in the first place. They can publish the way they like it to be.

they may want to change their names and called themselves political times or party times or something more transparent and appropriate.
