Its the fault of the Internet

No it is the fault of the education system. No it is the fault of society. No it is BSE. It is so easy to blame someone else except to see the truth. The Abdul Basheer Abdul Kader incident is an exciting peep into the minds of radicals. Many conveniently point to the internet as the source of the evil. And in Today, Dharmendra Yadav quoted his foreign friend saying that it is our education system. A system that taught the people to think and acquire new knowledge but not to ask questions. What a contradiction. Now why would a professionally trained person like Abdul Basheer rejected all the goodies that he could have, the million dollar salary akan datang, to fight in the mountains of Afghanistan, to die for a cause? Perplexing questions are best answered by simple answers. It is the fault of the internet.

The internet is but a place where data can be found easily. Sorting them from data into information is, however, up to the interpretation of one.

for the young and naive and impressionable, we can blame it on the internet.

but for someone like abdul basheer, he is anything but stupid. he is among the brightest and knows what he is doing. unless our educational system is in question.

Ya, I find it hard to believe too, ... no one implicated but ... the internet.... did it? hmmm....

or maybe it is true that our education system is turning out unthinking people.

George W. Bush blamed everyone, for the shit in Iraq and everything else, but not himself.

Redbean makes the automatic assumption that the young are "impressionable". Today he added the word "naive".

I think he needs to get out more, and hang around some LAN gamers, for example :)

The public education system is to be blamed for a whole host of evils. Well, what would you expect from a government? Nothing but SHIT!

matilah,
i remember telling you that the young need not be young in age. the maturity of a person is not measured by biological age alone.

sorry i am not going to define what is young. that's too academic.

Wah. Can make a claim, but can't... or won't back it up.

Spectacular!

... but only until I meet your mum for some kinky sex. Then I assure you, I'll release it all over her. :-)

Our ISD is like the film Minority Report where people are arrested base on intent instead of the actual act. A person with intent may or may NOT carry out the act but once an act is committed, there is definitely intention. Hence, you can't fault a person intention.
The internet is just a convenient scapegoat.

Not any more—I dumped my load into your mum's mouth.

Now never accuse me of not feeding her well :)

intention is very important. arresting people with the right intention is also very important.

terrorism is spreading like wild fire and will hit us any moment. the powers given is necessary but must be used wisely and for the good of the PEOPLE and country.
