first MP to resign?

Cyberspace suddenly came to life because of this little girl's blog. Even after it has been shut down, the storm continues to blow. And some of the anger are now directed against her father and the party. Looks like she is becoming a liability. Are we going to see the first MP to resign because of a controversial post in Cyberspace? Bet against anyone that this will be a hot potato in the next election.

If her father is indeed one of the men in white, I guess he will be too thick-skinned to resign. Would he give up the inflated MP salary on principle? I guess not.

a) If he is a good MP:
MP: Matured Personality

b) If he is superficial MP:
MP: Money-Pampered

Unfortunately, his daughter seem to be belong to catB.

His father is the Winner, in this world of Winners and Losers, all others are crackpots who whine... So in a way, his father doesn't need worry of crackpots coming to him...

As a Winner... Why resign cos of a bunch of Losers cracking pots?

We are all 'not good enough', that's why.

That Derek so pitiful... he means so well, then find out the harsh reality blunt from a MP's daughter...

The main message: Crackpot, go and get A1 for GP first before you whine...

As for resignation...

Yahdayahdayahda...

You are just a complementary class, LOSER$!

Got it?

the father has said that the girl was counselled for being insensitive but not for telling the brutal truth.

three cheers for the winners. elfred will like this.

and poor derek got slapped by an 18 year old winner. derek deserves it. or losers deserve it.

The girl might get slapped, but one thing is for sure, eventually the girl grow up to say nice thing only, and probably get away with huge salary at end as she may be future elite. Her father learn the rope and most MP learn the rope of saying good and "constructive" thing but actually in the mind, always succumb even to try their best, and what they do is to at least wayang in mouth and some action to show that they are elite.

Actually the report didn't show anything about the MP "counselled" his daughter for having a wrong mindset.

She was said to just being "counselled" for being less "sensitive" or maybe the better word would be less "tactful".

So I would take it that the father actually agreed with her harvesting that kind of elitist mindset, and only not agreed with how his daughter presented it to the public. :/

the word apology was not used. that is true. not many people are like lky or yudhoyono who will bravely apologise publicly.

a father tends to be quite protective and would want to be on the side of the children. actually it would be easier on everyone if he just dismisses it as the thoughts of a young girl and apologise for her naivity. that people can accept and case close.

unfortunately things did not turn out that way and cyberspace is flooded with more angry posts.
