20 min clip on India's response to the Xi Trump Meeting in Busan. The Indians are very unhappy that Trump and Xi have made up.
How could Xi and Trump have a meeting without me? I am so hurt. They made me felt so unimportant. And Trump called it a G2 Meeting, not a G3. Ouch, it is so painful to know that I meant nothing to them. I thought we are a very important member of the QUAD to counter China. And I hugged him so many times, countless of times to let him know that I loved him. And when he was with Xi, he totally forgotten about me. I was not even mentioned in their meeting.
Now I have to rework and restrategise my policies towards America. When Xi and Trump make peace, I have no more role as a balancer, to make them feel my importance. They don't need me anymore. Boo, boo, boo. Trump no longer needs me to stir up some shit to unsettle Xi. And looked how happy they were, with Trump whispering sweet nothing into Xi's ear. How can he do this in front of me? I am now rejected, no more role to play.
India has turned out to be the most unhappy and hurt party in the Xi Trump Meeting. India always thinks that it is the third party in this love affair. When Xi and Trump made up, they have no room for Modi. Trump is now in big trouble. Beware of the wrath of a jilted lover. India is not going to let Trump get away scotch free after using India as the third party in the love affair and then dumped India.
Come to think of it, it is so scary. Trump and Xi did not know how sensitive the Indians are and how important it thinks of itself. And how easy it is being hurt without them saying or doing anything about India.
Both Xi and Trump must be more discerning and caring for the feelings of India. I know that India is not a factor in their relationship. But that is not what India thinks and feels. India thinks it is up there, and a superpower too, trading very big with the US. The 47% tariff Trump is imposing on China is lower than the 50% imposed on India. This makes India more angry and will make India less competitive than China in trading with America. This is very bad. By the way, anyone knows how big is India's trade with the US? What are the few items that India is selling to the US? If I am not wrong, India's trade with the US is not even 10% of what China is trading with the US.
If both were charged the same tariff rate, India thinks it stands a chance to compete with China. Trump may want to reduce India's tariff to 47%, same as China, to start wooing India again, and for Modi to come and hug him all over again. How did Xi gain so much favour from Trump, with Trump calling Xi a great leader, his best friend, without Xi having to hug Trump? Trump actually was near to wanting to hug Xi to show how much he likes Xi.
