Brave Japanese will fight!

The militant right wing Japanese are shouting, ‘Brave Japanese will fight. Proud Japanese will fight’. And they are denouncing Naoto Kan for releasing the Chinese fishing boat captain as crumbling under China’s pressure. I really like to see Japan declaring war on China today. It will be a spectacle to watch the brave samurais wielding their Japanese swords against the Chinese broad swords. Today, the match can be very interesting. In the last century it was tanks, big guns and aircraft against bows and arrows and spears. Not anymore. Go brave Japanese, go. Banzai! Banzai! Show the world the true yakuzas behind the suit and tie. And I am not the only one instigating the Japanese and try to drive their superiority complex to a crazy pitch. Read the main media today and there are at least a couple of articles castrating the Japanese govt for being weak and unable to stand up to foreign pressure. Let’s stoke the fire of war and push the Japanese to do it. And those who can profit and benefit from wars will pop champagne and celebrate.

No need Chinese broad swords.

In the Fist of Fury, our late Bruce Lee clobbered the Jap judokas and karatekas and good ole Bruce was outnumbered 20 to 1.

In Ip Man 1 and 2, my idol Donnie Yen brought the house down with his Wing Chun rapid fire punches and the Japs went down the tube and turned into Jellyfish for their sushi.

The Japs will not fight the Chinese no matter the provocation. It is more profitable to set up factories in China to churn out Sony, Sharp, Nissan and all the consumer goods that we crave.

A war between China and Japan? Yes, go to your nearest Xbox or Playstation 3 to get the latest release.

Who wants to fight? Not me. I prefer to Hug.

Haha.

The Jeps were brave alrite ! They committed Hari-Kiri when they felt ashame of themselves in the past. Now they apologised and resigned when they did wrong.
There are still some supremacists left in them of course, however, the younger generations are more in tune with enjoying fun rather than wasting lives fighting.
China and Japan will be sensible to avoid war, even if the US instigates the Japanese. Both know there is nothing to gain in fighting stupid war.
Fact is, if Japan and China can co-operate, together they can be in the forefronts of technology and development. Both can work together towards such endeavours.
Wish they do.

I would like to see the two Koreas reunited, and the three East Asian economic powerhouses work together for the betterment of all nations.

But Japan must have leaders that are wise and brave to return seized Chinese territories for good. As long as they remained stubborn and think that what they took from China through wars are for keepsake, they will pay a heavy price for it when China wants to take it back forcefully.

And that must be the case if Japan does not behave like an honourable man and will only court its own destruction. China is a very different China today and a small boy should not trifle or try to take advantage of a giant who has woken up from its slumber.

There will be no peace and co-operation in whatever if one power forcefully requires the other to return what was seized as the spoils of war.

What is past is past and probably is non negotiable. The folly of China's past rulers probably contributed more to Japanese adventurism than hegemonic ambitions.

The only path is to recognize current territorial boundaries and settle issues through the International Court of Justice as what we did with Pedra Blanca.

Mr. Bean,

See today's Straight Times forum page on the "wise" insights from an Old Lance corporal.

Perhaps it may be food for thought for your next post.

With such intellect, I am surprised he went through NS just being a lance corporal! He should be a BG at least.

Hehe.

In every country there are internal politics and there are external politics. It is always difficult to reconcile the two. In fact not really possible to satisfy both sets of opposing forces pulling in two different directions.

Naoto Kan is in such a position and it comes with the job. So does many others who crave to become Presidents or PMs. What to do?

Hi Wally, no national leaders can treat the loss of national territories lightly. The Japanese are kpkb everyday on the Kurile Islands seized by Russia in exactly the same way, through war. They want them back, but not wanting to return Chinese territories.

My reading is that China will take back all lost territories one day, with some trade off. As for the foolish countries in Asean, their wild claims will be brushed aside by China for being just wild claims. Where was Malaysia when the Chinese ships were visiting those islands? Where was Vietnam then? Do they have ships that travelled to the Paracels? If not, how do they know their existence and wanting to claim them today?

As for the wise lance corporal, he is wise enough just to be a lance corporal. The grounds are angry not because of the foreign workers and this cock rebuttal has been painfully explained to cock leaders. It is the influx of so called foreign talents that are not talents but competing for everything the Singaporeans want.

And it is a myth that we need so many foreign talents. The superficial growth through more people but without increase in productivity is not real growth. And worst, any little growth is eaten up quickly by inflation.

A flat that cost $30k then is now $600k means that $600k in the pocket today is worth only $30k then. A taxi driver then is so much richer than a taxi driver today and this applies across the board. The people must not be fooled. Many are getting poorer in real terms. Only a small group have really benefitted.

Don't there be a recession and many will jump off their flats.

A historical primer - Sino-Japanese War

Hopefully, the protagonists in the next (akan datang) Sino-Japanese War will give us a good show, so the cartoonists can express their inner muse, and entertain us again

The Japs that gross meh?

Yucks!

Yes, Wally, I'm happy to concur...which is why if the Japs do conquer, the vanquished can expect their countries to be over-run with "Japanese culture" which is the sickest, most vile, nauseating, incredibly warped "erotica" (?? WTF??) on this planet.

If the Japs conquer China, rest assured the chinese gals will kena bukkake...another favourite activity at all-male Jap soirée's.

DO NOT....I repeat...DO NOT use google to search for 2 of the most notorious Jap classics funnelgirl or tubgirl, but if you just cannot resist because your curiosity just won't allow it, don't eat or drink anything before you do so.

BANZAI BUKKAKE!

WTF!

These Japs are really basket cases.

But I think the typical Jap is more into sushi and sedate unisex hot spring baths than such extremes.

And hope Mr. Bean has finished messing around with the aesthetics on his blog site and come out with our daily fix quick!

Hehe.

Sorry guys. You are early. I was squeezing in the lanes of Little India last night and a bit groggy. And sorting out the pics took a little time.

The hype of Japanese being great soldiers is just a western myth. They conquered East Asia and Southeast Asia using technology, just like the Europeans using their guns. Today they have guns and so have the Chinese, Russians and Koreans.

The Americans, French and Brits too have weaponry on their side. The Americans lost to ill equipped peasant soldiers of China and Vietnam in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. The French to the Viets in Dien Bien Phu. No bull.

The Japs looked so good against the ancient Chinese and the Southeast Asians because they had superior arms. The Chinese and Koreans practically only had swords and spears. The Southeast Asians had nothing except their sarongs.

Today the playing field is more level and the really good soldiers will be the winner.
