Fine or jail for putting up tent at Changi

A resident was caught and charged for putting up a tent at Changi beach without a licence. He was fined $800 which he could not afford to pay. Instead he was jailed for 4 days. Wally, I hope it is not you. I am sure you pay for your licence : )

No sleeping at parks, no tenting at the beach, no smoking indoor and there may come a day when no eating will be allowed other than at eateries.

Someone will suggest to the government to install vending machines for auto-licence issuance on all beaches for tent pitching.

Another budget of some hundreds of millions will be approved for the project. All Singaporean will have to pay for the project, regardless of whether you like camping at the beach or not.

How about sleeping in the hdb void deck???

Should they also be cleaned up??? if not, then suggest it to those poor chaps who probably left with tents to move to void decks instead... since they can also use the taps at the rubbish chute for cleaning... and tap those power points for heating...
