No more good years

Once we heard loud noises about more good years. But when good years were turning into lean years, one good year was brought in to break the bad trend. Unfortunately it didn't help much. Probably they should get an expensive good year instead of a cheap one. Now, brace up and prepare to have more of the same. Actually when the mandate of heaven is with a person, anything the person touched will turn to gold. Otherwise everything touched will turn to dust. But when the mandate is with a person, even a fool, everything touched will turn to gold. Would the mandate of heaven still be with the chosen?

Another mistake has been made by PAP,that much is clear.

Who is responsible,no one is saying.

I personally like the idea that Madam Ho,the come back gal is back in the saddle, she is one of the very few persons in this world who has the real HANDS-ON experience of losing S$60 billion, not her money of course.

I am only little worried about her vow to punt big into China banking, not too much,I hope and I pray.

Well, let's give her a new chance to prove herself!and I hope the analysts and 154th would count from the day when she became CEO,and not using date since 1963 to conclude her achievement.

My friend who runs a hawker stall also has "strategic differences" with his assistants and staff turnover is high. Now I console him with the news that even in high places, things are not much better.

LMAO.

Is this all planned?

The mistakes, the losses, the resignation, the explanations and the futility of apportioning blame on the one responsible is now practically over.

Business as usual and there's nothing to blame her for. Being there at the right time and the right place.

Very smart move, I must say.

Let's wait and see, fortunes change hands. Mdm Ho Ching may prove that she is even fit for the post of Finance Minister.

Don't be surprised !

Who dare or can say she is unfit for any position? It's an open mandate from Heaven.

To me, somehow I feel that whoever take the seat now is not important anymore. Huge sum of money were lost, our CPF funds will be locked up, forever.

huge or small sum is only relative. when a prodigal son gambles away millions in the casino, it could be just peanuts if the parents have billions in their wealth.

Yes redbean, especially when those are somebody's else peanuts.
