China decoupling from US gaining momentum

The sooner a new global currency and financial system is set up, the better for the world. China is not waiting for the USA to decouple from it. China wants a faster decoupling more than the USA.

China is looking at the evolving BRICS and Global South market more importantly and has already done its homework and is prepared to put the USA market behind it, knowing that USA consumers are losing the ability to afford the kind of spending power that was touted in the past.

The USA manufacturers on the other hand is not able to access the BRICS and Global South market under competition, even if the USA were to force manufacturing back to the USA to produce goods. So far, despite all the posturing, we do not see a rush by manufacturers to move back to the USA.

Onshoring is not going to work when the USA is becoming a closed country that is going to provide a market that is just a fraction of BRICS and the Global South combined. The gloating that only USA consumers are rich enough to afford the kind of spending power that other country's citizens cannot afford no longer holds water today, especially when being revealed by Rednote users when comparing living standards and living costs.

The USA is facing isolation, with even allies being targeted with tariffs across the board. The EU is on the agenda and that may just be the tipping point of the total annihilation of the EU's economy. It is ironic that the EU had been following the USA in demonizing China like a obedient dog and now facing such treatment by the USA. That is nothing but Karma.

The EU is still trying to put on a brave front, celebrating the Baltic states cutting off its electricity grid from Russia. It is an open secret that the EU still relies on Russian energy on the sly, buying them via China, India and Saudi Arabia under the table. There is practically no chance ever of the EU going to enjoy cheap Russian energy again, even after the settlement of the Ukraine War.

The EU will be forced to buy expensive USA energy forever and going back to Russia is going to face a USA backlash. Trump is even threatening the EU countries with his new-found tariff weapon, if they do not buy more USA energy and that says it all. Moreover, the USA is on the verge of making Canada its 51st state and seizing its resources, particularly its oil and natural gas besides rare earth elements. This is a bonanza that Trump is looking forward to making lots of money selling to the EU.

Friendship normally has it privileges. But friendship with the USA is fatal according to Henry Kissinger. He was on the inside of the USA administration and should know much about USA politics.

Manufacturing moving back to the USA is a delusion. Investors know that products made in USA can never compete with China outside the USA.

USA consumers will have to suffer being forced to buy expensive local products and imported products with tariffs added, not people in BRICS, China or the Global South. That is to be the reality, however high tariffs are going to be set against China.

As many Chinese manufacturers are now saying, tariffs are not much of a concern for them as it is paid by USA importers and passed on to USA consumers.
