They removed China from the Happiness Index so the Anglo-Saxon White countries can remain on top of the Index. Who are they trying to kid? It is great that so many saw the sleight of hand fiddling with the Index. Many now think the Happiness Index is a fabricated piece of propaganda.
When they could not compete with Huawei, they banned Huawei, using National Security excuses that have yet to be proven. Now they are faking a narrative that they are ahead with developing 7G. When they could not compete with Tik Tok, they wanted to ban it or otherwise forcing it to be sold to their own USA entities.
They are now facing a dilemma regarding Rednote, and are making plans to ban it for educating USA citizens about what a responsible government should be doing by looking after citizen's interest first and foremost. The fact that it is a Socialist Government is doing far better than what a Democratic Government should be doing is even more damaging.
Now they have a big headache regarding DeepSeek and are trying to demonize and banning it, using all kinds of fabricated reasons to keep it from cannibalizing their multi-billion dollars investments from going to waste. It is already a waste, throwing all that money and failing to even do better than a new upstart. The desperation is so critical that the administration is touted to be debating, using laws to punish those that download the app, with a 20-year prison sentence or a million dollar fine.
Welcome to the land of the free that gives citizens no choice with fabricated freedom.

Inflation has risen in the USA in January to 3% and Donald Trump, as expected, is blaming it on Joe Biden. Welcome to the circus coming to a USA town near you. The blaming game does not only target other countries like China but targeting the USA internal structure and opposition as well. Trump is asking President non-elect Elon Musk to dig up more dirt on USA agencies and closing them, just like those big retailers closing outlets by the hundreds. This is to save costs to fund the tax cuts to be given to the top 1% and super rich, of which Trump and Musk belong to. The tariffs that Trump is raising against the rest of the world is also for that funding purpose, nothing more.
I think Trump already formulated his plan to blame escalating inflation coming up due to his tariffs on to Dementia Joe. Now even without his tariffs in place, inflation is already rising, but the worst is yet to come from February onwards. Whether the stupid USA citizens see the real picture reason is another thing.
What is even worse for USA citizens is now being made aware of living costs in China, with China even exporting deflation to BRICS and Global South countries making cost of living even cheaper for them. In the scheme of things, USA citizens will be salivating, looking at cheap products that they can only dream of. Oops, they have all the fake freedoms to gloat about but having no choice, which is good enough. When are they going to wake up?
Realistically, USA citizens have no choice whichever party, Republicans or Democrats take the White House. The same policies are culled from the same playbook. All both administrations cared for are creating more conflicts, sanctioning other countries, raising tariffs to prevent competition and now seizing land and countries, while taking care of citizen's welfare plays second fiddle to all these destructive schemes.
Time also for the rest of the world to wake up. The best laughter must be reserved for the EU, groveling to USA policies by sanctioning Russia and suffering the consequences and now being targeted by Trump with tariffs coming up. But it is too late to regret. The EU is caught between a rock and a hard place, having to cater to Trump's demand to buy more expensive energy from the USA, while cheap energy from Russia is now beyond looking forward to.
