No invitation for Trump to Beijing. Trump just did another Meng Wanzhou on China

An IT employee of a Chinese company on holiday in Italy was arrested by the Italian govt under the instruction of the American rogue regime, in the same manner as the arrest of Meng Wanzhou in Canada. The Italian PM Meloni is acting like the boy PM Trudeau thinking that there will be no consequences for conspiring with the Americans to arrest Chinese citizens that did not violate Italian laws. The Americans accused the Chinese IT employee as a suspect in conducting cyber attacks without any proof, just American words and fabrications. Neither has the Americans the jurisidiction over Chinese citizens. This is Wild Wild West extended to the whole world. China will do the same to American citizens.

China responded in the same way as they responded in the Meng Wanzhou's case. Two Americans were detained in China, a senior American bank employee and an American govt official that visited China without declaring his official identity.

The American news media as usual cried foul, that China is escalating the case. What would they expect China to do, allowing the Americans to go around the world arresting Chinese citizens and not responding? The American terrorists think they can terrorise citizens of China and other countries, behaving like gangsters to arrest people all over the world.

These two American citizens would remain in China until the Chinese citizen is released. There are many Americans that China can arrest, with legitimate reasons, to retaliate against the American terrorists. China can hit back and will hit back. Period.

Trump can kiss his invite to China goodbye. China cannot invite a rogue that thinks he can arrest Chinese citizens as and when he likes. This reminder of Meng Wanzhou comes at a bad time and in bad taste.

Chip War ended. The winner is China

The Americans launched the Chip War to stop China's growth in the chip industry, hoping to lock China down to the production of 28nm chips while the Americans ran away towards 3nm and smaller chips. If successful, the Americans would maintain a lead of at least 10 years ahead of China and depriving China from the use of faster chips in high end technology and weapons production. China would be stuck in serving only the automobiles and consumer goods manufacturing, in a way low value and low end products.

The American's sweet dream did not last long. China broke through in the manufacturing of 14nm chips, then 7nm chips and 5nm chips. The Americans were still comfortably ahead in 3nm chips and pushing for 2nm chips. The banning of selling these chips to China, and the banning of selling EUV machine to make these chips were a big blow to China. China attempted to break out from this trap by redesigning chips with the same old DUV machine, by new methods of layering to develop chips that are capable of performing like 3nm chips, with some success.

This week Huawei, China announced a new breakthrough in developing 1nm chips using its own quantum machine, not EUV machine. This is sending a shockwave across the American chip landscape. China is now ahead of the Americans. China does not need to buy EUV machine anymore. ASML is finished in this game. Nvidia too would be in trouble, with a pocket full of chips but no buyer, China has no need to buy Nvidia chips anymore.

And yes, China has won the Chip War. China is not chasing behind the Americans. China has reached the end of race, bursting across the tape, at least for this phase of the war. What now America? Still trying to make 2nm and if successful, would still have to build 1nm to be equal to China.

With China winning this Chip War, what else do the Americans have that is ahead of China? Can't think of any. Oops, America still has Democrazy that China cannot beat. The end game is near. American hegemony would soon be no more when there is no more chips or cards to play against China.

Airbag Trump and stutterer Bessent waxing laurels about tariff wins

Donald Trump and Scott Bessent have been waxing laurels about all their big and beautiful winnings in their negotiations with UK, Japan, Vietnam and the EU. All others not negotiating are going to be suffering big and beautiful tariffs to be imposed from August 1st deadline.

So much winning that I think Trump must be really tired, just like those winnings in Ukraine. Now, Ukraine is reported to be allowing those above 60 years old to be recruited into the army to fight Russia, indicating that it is scrapping the bottom of the barrel for additional troops. Dad's army is no TV reality show any more. Wonder how it is going to work out.

Both Trump and Bessent are hoping that no one is going to broach again the big and beautiful question of who is paying for those tariffs. The MSM is not talking about it now and the Hillbillies will also just not whine about it, but just swallow it lock, stock and barrel. Hope they will enjoy Trump's big and beautiful tariff winnings in the days to come. It will then turn into one big and beautiful con-job pulled off by one and only Trump, with six bankruptcies after his name.

There have been earlier claims by Trump that China broke tariff agreements reached in Switzerland and London without giving details of what kind of agreements have been reached and broken, just lies plucked from the air by the airbag. Now, we are seeing the reality that no agreements really existed, and the two countries are just on the verge of negotiating.

Trump can impose an additional 1,000% on top of his present truce figure on China but I think it is all academic. Less Chinese products are going to USA ports, least of all rare earth elements. Those Chinese firms catering to exports to USA are unfazed by all those tariffs, just exporting more to the Global South, particularly ASEAN. The nightmare for USA consumers is just beginning according to Professor Victor Gao.

Indian military strategic thinking versus Pakistan military strategic thinking

India did the right thing listening to the USA, but adopted the wrong tactics, buying weapons from every Tom, Dick and Harry. The problem is they do not work well together, with systems culled from Russian, French and Indian sources and now adding in USA weaponry, trying to get them to work together into a cohesive force. It is Indian 'Rojak' mixed with Russian, French and now USA ingredients that is neither East nor West and expecting them to work together.

It failed against Pakistan that used basically Chinese weapons and Pakistan self-developed fighter jets, the JF17 fighter jets, made together by China and Pakistan, that works well under a single system. Now Pakistan got the idea and is now buying even more advanced Chinese fighter jets and weapons. Iran also got the idea fast and has ordered Chinese J10C fighter jets and the whole works, in fact calling it the whole Chinese air force, including AWACS.

With Boeing still suffering bad publicity with another 737 Max fire before take-off at Denver Airport days ago, due to a collapsed landing gear, how honestly reliable are those F35s bought by Singapore and stationed in USA? By the time hostilities breaks out over here, there may not be a place to land for them, not to talk about being on time to fight a war.
