I thought the fastest deal in Ukraine was supposed to be about 24 hours upon Trump taking office. It is now more than a year after Trump took office, yet the war is still on and a speed deal seems to be elusive so far. All the bragging and boasting are just, well just hot air from a conman extraordinaire.
Ukraine will never be settled after Trump leaves office looking at the demands of both sides. If the Democrats takes office, they will use the same playbook as Trump, so whereabouts the possibility of settlement. When Putin wants to make a deal, NATO Europe will coerce Zelenskyy to make demands. When Zelenskyy wants to make a deal, Putin will not give up concessions he already had in hand. When Putin and Zelenskyy are able to get together to make a deal, Trump and NATO Europe will make their own demands. How is a deal possible with four parties with their own agenda to fulfil?
As long as Trump and the Europeans dip their dirty hands into the issue, the shithole gets stinker with their stirring the shit. The Ukraine war could have been stopped at the earlier stage had Boris Johnson, under the instigation of the USA, not sabotaged the deal already reached between Russia and Ukraine.
Right now, the European Union still thinks that Ukraine can win the war with their support. This is wishful thinking on the part of the Europeans, with morons like Kaja Kallas still having the mindset that Russia is collapsing if NATO continues to support Zelenskyy. The whole EU is itself collapsing under expensive energy for its industrial base, and the European Union is still trying to flog a dead horse in Ukraine.

The Anglo-Saxon show must go on. The Whites are just putting on a show and the non-Whites are just foolish enough to enjoy the long running show.
When the Europeans could see their vulnerabilities in energy, the USA wants them to cut off cheap Russian energy in order for the USA to step in to replace Russia by supplying expensive energy for Europe. That has been done.
Now, it appears, on the surface, that the USA is trying to wash its hands off Ukraine, trying to pivot towards Iran and China. The Europeans on the other hand are now acting as cheerleaders, by giving Zelenskyy false hopes to fight on with more support instead of looking for peace. The Europeans do not realize that they are sinking into quicksand without cheap Russian energy, which is now giving China's industrialization a helping hand instead.
We know that the Anglo-Saxon Whites work hand in glove to ensure the survival of the USA hegemony. We saw how they ganged up against China during the opium war, the support for the USA resulting in the collapse of the Soviet Union, the support for the USA in its illegal war in Iraq, the support for the USA in Venezuela's oil seizure and now again against China over Taiwan.
Trump is now wedged between a rock and a hard place over Iran. All that threat and gloating is coming back to haunt him. If he pulls back, it will be another TACO moment to savior, which is unlikely with Israel putting pressure on him. If he attacks, which he is pressured to do, he risks pitting the USA military against the unknown defense and offensive weapons given to Iran by Russia and China. There are no such things as known knowns, unknown knowns, known unknowns and all that nonsense as in Iraq. Iran is no Iraq, by a long shot.
Even if Iran faces overwhelming forces, the result is still going to be catastrophic for Israel, which will be the main target of Iran together with USA military bases in the Middle East. USA has already moved troops out of Syria in fear.
Iran has already signaled its intent regarding the Straits of Hormuz should the USA carry out its attack, having held a military exercise and closing the Straits for several hours. This is not unrelated to tension with the USA, but a clear signal of what is to come if the USA attacks Iran. This will be catastrophic for Middle East oil producers and will send oil prices shooting to the moon. And the USA has not figured out what the Houthis are going to do when war breaks.
The resulting skyrocketing oil prices will be bad for the USA and the EU's energy needs and inflation numbers. The USA is already lacking in energy production logistics to fuel its foray into AI and data centers, now competing with domestic users for energy. Europe will be deprived of Middle East oil, while the USA would be hard pressed to deal with its own predicament not to talk about helping Europe. The signs are not good.
Japan and South Korea, both highly dependent on imported energy will face serious issues and will go down on their knees and begging for mercy. What is going to happen is anybody's guess.
China had already been stockpiling its oil years earlier, in massive underground bunkers in anticipation of the consequences, and with Russia's continued cheap energy imports, together with its heavy reliance on nuclear, hydropower, wind and solar buildup, will be affected, but not to the extent of others. China had been building up its renewable energy infrastructures like nuclear power stations, dams, wind farms and solar fields. China's migration of its national transportation mode to electric high-speed trains and vehicles will shield its transportation system from oil shocks.
