That three or four decades of distraction pivoting on wars in the past, fighting terrorists, sanctioning countries and erecting trade barriers by the USA has allowed China the legroom to create an economy from nothing to what it is today.
The Iran war is now helping China in more ways than one. China is taking the opportunity to expand its foothold in Africa and making the Yuan more accessible and wider in usage at the expense of the US$, which is losing substantial leverage on global trade. The result may be marginal, but China is not in a hurry and thinks in very long-term basis.
That Chinese trait of long-term commitment has been carried down the centuries by successive Chinese leaders and what better example than building the Great Wall of China, a construction project spanning over two thousand years which is testimony to Chinese patience. Over centuries, different Chinese emperors undertook the building and extension of the wall in stages. Differences in ideology did not matter and the fact that the intention did not change even with different emperors ruling the country is astounding.

A day after the bloodbath on the USA stock market, the job market goes into the stratosphere with 165,000 jobs created and unemployment falling to 4.1%.
This is really too co-incidental, and should I also say that the announcement of job creation and unemployment is really at the right time to prevent the stock market from really collapsing after Thursday's bloodbath. The whole idea is to steady the stock market and prevent further carnage. Oh yes, tech stocks went up because of the job announcement. What other reason can they trot out?
I think it is too good to be true. Do we honestly believe the jobs and unemployment figures trotted out? A few months down the road, the job numbers will again be revised downwards, and the episode will just be forgotten, and goes under the carpet and forgiven. How many times have this happened before? Yet they keep on pulling this trick without consequences, because they can get away with it.
They got away with the fabricated Iraq War. They got away with the 911 inside job.
What big deal is getting away with some fabricated job figures. It is nothing that the USA propaganda machine cannot handle.
