iPhone made in the USA could never be sold that cheaply, maybe even double the price, with Apple probably even making lesser profits with high wages, lack of supply chains, lack of skilled workforce and at that price, its sales worldwide could never have reached the level it is enjoying today.
When USA manufacturing entities and Europeans and Japanese were making all the money in China, no one ever accused China of overcapacity with their presence in China. When they could no longer compete in China and against Chinese manufacturing, they raised the issue of overcapacity.
Did any country raise the issue of overcapacity with USA money printing over the decades? Did anyone take issue with USA overcapacity in defense spending escalation year after year? When China raise military spending, every USA ally raised eyebrows talking about the Chinese threat rising.
Why is the USA and the West not happy with China selling cheap products all over the Global South today? It is not for the USA and the West to tell China to sell less to those countries and telling those countries who they should choose to buy from. China did not put a gun to their heads and force them to buy from China. Global South countries themselves find value for money in buying cheaper Chinese products. The USA and the West could not compete, and it is this inability to overcome over the price factor that is fueling all the demonization regarding overcapacity and National Security reasons.

Every report on the protests in European countries has been touted to be violent on MSM, so high handed counter was justified.
Hong Kong protestors in 2019, instigated by the CIA, were earlier touted to be 'very peaceful', setting fires to Government buildings and the crackdown on them was demonized as excessive use of force.
I want to vomit reading all the hypocritical reporting. I have avoided and discounted the MSM propaganda for more than two decades. I am now short of States Times propaganda rag for picking up my dog poo.
The money printing was tolerated until the USA weaponized it to sanction other countries. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. Which eventually led to the de-dollarization campaign spearheaded by Russia and China with the formation of BRICS.
Actually, Saddam Hussein had already thought of that by calling for oil to be sold in Euros. He was destroyed to stop the idea gathering root. That was a lesson to warn other small countries not to try.
Russia and China, one having the military might and the other the economic power, was to be the umbrella for BRICS to carry out de-dollarization. One small step by two countries, one big step for mankind.
The USA still resort to sanctioning countries but is pushing them to de-dollarize as well. BRICS is still work-in-progress, and the results so far are positive and helpful for other countries trying to move away from the US$ to avoid the risk of being sanctioned. Several oil producing countries are in BRICS and if oil trade is carried out other than in US$, the de-dollarization move is going to gather speed and usage of the US$ is being decimated. More countries will hold less US$ for oil and unlimited printing of US$ is going to create high inflation in the USA itself.
BRICS countries now account for 40% of global oil output and 30% of global gas production. That is not insignificant.
