Saudi Arabia fought a war against the Yemen Houthis before, from 2015 to 2022, with USA support, while the Houthis were supported by Iran. There is really no love lost between the two countries. That peace deal between Saudi Arabia and Iran brokered by China provided some temporary relief to stop Iran from aiding the Houthis. That is going to end for sure. Closing the Bab Al-Mandab to Saudi vessels is telling. It is a direct and intentional hit against Saudi Arabia. The Gulf States can talk until the cows come home about countering the move by the Houthis. They had better put their resources trying to protect what they still have around the Persian Gulf.

The Houthis retaliated against Saudi Arabia when the Saudis attacked Yemen's Sana International Airport to prevent Iranian planes from landing. Can we really blame the Houthis? Only those with eyes that refused to see will say otherwise.
Dragging the Houthis to close the Bab Al-Mandab was another mistake by Saudi Arabia and we know who is behind the move. Any interference, which cannot be avoided, will find the USA supporting three wars at the same time, excluding Ukraine, which is now thrown under the bus.
If you read between the lines, the Saudis are taking this opportunity to go nuclear, with the USA talking about helping the kingdom with its nuclear program, whether for peaceful purposes or not. Such talk is always more than meets the eye. This is more or less the answer regarding whether Iran already has the bomb, which many are asking softly. With North Korea openly supporting Iran in this direction, who knows. The proof of the pudding is in the tasting, and when a push comes to a shove, we shall find out.
The Saudis probably just played along, threw a few bombs at Yemen, made a few protests, and let the Houthis do the necessary, to close Bab Al Mandeb. This is what the Americans wanted.
As for helping the Saudis go nuclear, the Saudis are not that stupid. The Jews will not allow it, and the Americans take orders from the Jews. It is just like promising the silly Indians to help them build fighter aircraft, sell them advanced aircraft and technology, but everything came to naught.
The Americans will continue to make a fool of the Arabs and Muslims and also of Modi, playing with their egos and desire for American assistance.
