Lee Kuan Yew - Do not invest in Air India without management control
26 min on India by Lee Kuan Yew. Watch from 15 min onwards for about 2 minutes when LKY explained why it would be stupid for SIA to invest in Air India without management control. Though LKY did not specifically used these words, do not invest in Air India, his concern was obvious. Without management control, it is better not to waste money in Air India. Apparently some stupid buggers went ahead to invest in Air India and let Air India to continue to run like a circus by the Indians. Now SIA is carrying the baby and Air India's problems, and some asses even think of throwing more good money into the Air India circus and yes....without control of its management again. Even with management control, SIA will not be able to run Air India the way it wants with the Indian Union around. SIA will continue to bleed unless it cuts away this cancer. Stop being mesmerised by the Indian rope trick.
Stupidity has no cure is a Singapore disease because we have a lot of OPM to throw around and with little accountability. This clip is highly recommended for Singaporeans suffering from the Stupidity has no cure disease and think they are smarter than Lee Kuan Yew, and can ignore his wisdom and advice.

Good morning All.
LKY born Sept 16 1923 the sign of VIRGO which is a icon in the Zodiac a Soothsayer with immense foresight and analytical mind!
I believe Philip Yeo Liat Kok, former chairman of EDB, a protege of Goh Keng Swee with a long serving record in the Singapore Administrative Service, had this to say in the later years of his career - Singapore has a 'eunuch disease' of people serving the emperor and having an influence that does not augur well.
His astute observation may be more realistic than just a critical comment.

Another instance of the Dishonourable Son going against the wishes of his father under the influence of the contrarian?
