This is not about regime change, this is about killing Iranians

The killing of Iran's Supreme Leader is nothing to gloat about, as someone else is going to rise up to take his place. The same with Hezbollah and Houthi leaders that have been assassinated. Did they collapsed after leaders have been assassinated?

This is not about killing Iran's leader, hoping for a regime change. The whole idea is to keep tension in the Middle East on the boil, a divide and rule strategy. This is not about forcing Iran to the negotiation table, when talks are still ongoing and attacking Iran makes a deal now impossible to arrive at. The USA and Israel do not want peace in the Middle East, so long as they have the upper hand in weaponry.

Moreover, Trump is in all kinds of trouble at home, and he needs a big distraction. His tariffs are struck down by the Supreme Court and countries are probably waiting for further pronouncements regarding the 15% tariffs. which should also be deemed illegal. Those negotiating have stopped doing so, while those that have yet to negotiate are counting their blessings.

The USA faces a serious problem over the maturing debt of US$10 trillion, while bond sales to cover new funding is not moving at all. No country is betting on USA treasuries anymore, save for a few crony allies. Job creation figures will again be fabricated out of thin air to show a rosy picture but will be revised downwards, being the norm over the years. They have managed to fool the world and their own citizens so far, without consequences. So, just continue with the magic show. After all, it is now they may see it, nothing happens later when they don't.

Trump and Netanyahu have different agendas to attack Iran. Netanyahu is in control of Trump's actions nevertheless and Netanyahu is using the USA to help him fulfil his ambitions. Trump, ever the D grader, does not even know what he hopes to achieve in Iran. Republicans have said it loud and clear that any regime change in Iran is up to the Iranian people, not the USA. Democracy cannot be made to happen by bombing a country into submission. And the Iranians are made of more sturdy stuff, with more up to date weaponry and military expertise than the Venezuelans.

Why do I say that Trump and Netanyahu have different agendas regarding Iran. Trump's mantra all the time had been about a regime change. In fact, he is calling on ordinary Iranians to rise up to reclaim their country, whatever that means. Iran, whether under the Islamic regime or the USA appointed Shah still belongs to the Iranians. Of course, a new regime change would cater to the interest of the USA, especially control of the oil, not the Iranian people. This is always the ploy, just like in Iraq. What did the Iraqi people achieved, helping to topple Saddam Hussein? They lost their oil and life is even more tumultuous now for them with the country still unstable. Why are Iraqis now protesting against the action of the USA and Israel against Iran answer any questions? Didn't they help the USA during the illegal and fabricated Iraq War?

Netanyahu's agenda on the other hand is to create a 'Greater Israel' by expanding its territory at the expense of other Muslim countries and Iran is the only Muslim country in the Middle East preventing that from happening besides the Houthis, Hamas and Hezbollah. Lebanon and Syria will fall into Israel hands should Iran capitulate. But that would not be easy, as without troops on the ground. USA is fearful of a guerilla war after its experience in Vietnam and Afghanistan, and I doubt they will relish having boots on the ground in Iran.

Iran has so many other leaders to take over the Supreme Leader's role. As I always say, nothing is going to change just by eradicating a sitting leader, just like taking out some Hamas, Houthi and Hezbollah leaders in the past. Did they collapse and disappear? The more they assassinate leaders, the angrier the base will be and they will retaliate. This war is going to result in the reactivation of dormant terrorist cells in the West and in those countries supporting the USA and Israel.

Three things the Iranians have learnt from the recent 12-day war against Israel. Iran has decentralized location of leaders in the event of assassination attempts and has been doing that after the 12-day war against Israel, though leaks are still happening. Iran has done a good job of getting rid of Mossad and CIA operatives and spies, which is ongoing and a must to prevent leaks. The third most important move has been the Iranian military cutting off dependence on the USA GPS system and now using China's BeiDou Satellite system for locating enemy assets and movements.

Which is why Iran has been so successful in targeting important Israeli targets so far. Iran has been reported to have just destroyed an Israeli desalination plant in Sorek. This is a critical infrastructure for Israel, on top of nuclear power station sites. A nuclear bomb strike by Iran is not necessary when that bomb is already in existence in Israel when the shit hits the fan and if Israel resorts to the extreme use of nukes.

There are attempts to portray that Iran started the current war, just because of the claim that Iran had held meetings discussing the possibility, which led Israel to order a pre-emptive strike. Now, there is no way out for the USA and Israel to dig themselves out of a big hole they dug themselves.

Trump has admitted that the war may last a month. This is just what he says and is not what the reality dictates. Trump's grasp of reality is always missing by a mile.

The biggest losers will be the Gulf states and their energy movements with the blockade of the Straits of Hormuz by Iran and likewise the Bab Al-Mandab passage into the Suez Canal via the Red Sea by the Houthis. The Yemenis have no love lost for the USA and Israel to spare a thought for the naval embargo of the Bab Al-Mandab passage. They are waiting for this moment.

Trump was counting on a 4 to 5 days war, after which he thought he could force the Iranians to agree to a ceasefire and promote his stronger position at the negotiating table. That has not happened and the Iranians have categorically rejected the ceasefire via the Italians.

The regime change expected has not happened. A new military leader has already been appointed, and he is launching more missiles towards Israel and 27 other USA military bases. A new Supreme leader appointment is not far away and progressing.

A huge protest expected is being held in Iran, but not to clammer for a regime change, but to mourn for their fallen leader. The reality is sinking in. It will not be a short war after all. The most destructive weapons have not yet been delivered by Iran. Those that are in the air are the leftovers from previous conflicts. Trump has underestimated the Iranians and he and his administration should read more history to familiarize themselves with the past history of the Persians. Time will tell.

Next generation suicide bombers could be equipped with a small nuclear bomb!! Push these extremists hard enough and this might just happen. How are the hillbillies and rednecks going to defend against that?
