Trump is still bluffing that he is going to attack Iran without congressional approval. If he does, he will be impeached and kick out of the White House. Trump's gambit is to fight an unending war in Iran or at home, then declare emergency power to stay in office like Netanyahu. Actually this is what Netanyahu taught him.
Trump only cares about himself and not about the consequences of his actions. He cannot think and would not think about what's next.
Iran, as a weaker military power, always try to avoid a direct war with the Americans and the Israelis. Iran will suffer serious damages. But when Iran is facing two savage countries, Iran cannot hide for long. Even China and Russia cannot hide for long. Sooner or later they must confront these two savage countries. In previous attacks, Iran's counter attacks were limited and very restrained. Iran was afraid to hit American bases directly, only a token measure.
In this coming attack, if the Washington madmen have their ways, Iran is going to be flattened like Iraq. By now Iran must have made up their mind, be very clear that they have to go all out in hitting back. Israel and all the American bases must be hit with all the missiles Iran has. If not, the Americans and Israelis will use them to attack Iran. Iran can count on the support of Russia and China this time. Both cannot afford to let Iran fall to the Americans. Too much is at stake. Like it or not, they must join the fight. Iran's fall will bring about an existential crisis to both China and Russia. Both will send in all their best weapons and forces to defend Iran.
It would be the biggest flare up in the Middle East. The golden opportunity in this all out war is that Iran can wipe out all the American bases and Israel to free the Arab and Muslim states from their control. By the end of this war, no American bases will be left standing. All Arab and Muslim states must be on high alert and ready. This is not a war against Iran alone. The Arab and Muslim states must join in to take out these bases when Iran strikes. No one will be wiser where the bombs and missiles came from, just like the American bombing of Qatar and pretending that it was the Israelis.
When it's over, the Arab and Muslim states must be firm and say no to new American bases in their countries. This is their chance to get rid of the evil Americans, to be free and independent sovereign states, without foreign military bases in their homeland.
The daft clowns in Washington may still think they can control the nature and velocity of this war, that they hit and withdraw as and when they wish. No way. Russia and China and other Arab and Muslim states would be drawn in, to take out Israel as well. The math is in favour of the Arab and Muslim states when they get their act together. The Israelis and American terrorists always think they are the ones that can hit others and not be hit.
American aircraft carriers would stay far away to be safe. B1s, B2s and B52 bombers would fall from the sky, including F35s. S30s, S400s and China's HQ9s are guarding the Iranian sky. Iran and friends would dictate the pace of this war, not the Americans with their limited logistics. The Iranians must be on full alert, don't be like the lame Venezuelans. The war strategy and order to strike must already been made once they detected American and Israeli forces heading towards Iran. Do not wait for the bombs to fall in Iran and then start thinking what to do, to fight or not to fight. Iran must be on a war footing and only needs a signal to fire, decision made and all locked and loaded. The red lines all drawn and clear to all commanders. When the red lines are crossed, start firing.
I will be damned if they are still discussing to fight or not to fight, and still squabbling on what and when to fight. If that is the case, Iran will be another Venezuela. Must as well raise the white flag now. The American terrorists and Israelis are out to destroy Iran and kill Iranians. There will be no mercy. Iranians will fall like the Palestinians, genocided .... if they are afraid to fight, still thinking that the Americans and Israelis will be kind to them.

Fat hope about the Arabs wiping out the USA bases. The USA had an iron grip on the testicles of all the Arab leaders. They would not want their massive assets in USA and the West to be seized like the Russians. Moreover, not all of the Saudi royal households will follow together to attack USA bases if that happens, as some of them are hardcore supporters of the USA and eyeing the Saudi throne. This is the USA's bargaining chip in dealing with Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi ruler now.
Having said that, only Iran and the Houthis could do what is necessary with nothing to lose. Which is why the targeting of Iran takes precedence with the USA and the West having no means to hold any of its leader's assets hostage.
The Middle East has no cards to play and is stuck between a rock and a hard place forever.
The USA knows that. The Israelis knows that. We can shout until the cows come home, but nothing is going to change.
News that Israel has just tested a nuclear bomb is dangerous. Netanyahu has called Trump that he is ready to attack Iran. If indeed the Israelis have the bomb, Iran cannot afford to be hit by one. The next missile or aircraft heading to Iran could be carrying a nuclear bomb.

The good news is that if Israel nuked Iran, Russia and Pakistan can retaliate in kind. Israel cannot survive if nuked by one or two bombs. It will become inhospitable, the whole of Israel.
