The next industrial powerhouse is NOT India

India can keep faking that it is the next superpower by talking and shouting. But without the real industrial base, it will not happen. Any Indian with a little bit of talent have left, even those with fake talents have left India, leaving only the big mouth and loud mouth politicians to pretend that India is the next China, the next semiconductor and AI powerhouse.

Has anyone heard of BYD, Huawei, Baidu, ByteDance, Xiaomi, Alibaba, Tencent, TikTok, Douyin, Unitree, DJI, Xpeng, Geely, SMIC, Nexperia, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, ...the list is endless. All these are China's most advanced semicon, high tech and AI companies known worldwide. You cannot find a single Indian company that is in this league. Nothing more need to be said about the industrial and tech power of India.

The next industrial power is Asean. Yes, Asean is rising quietly as the next big player in semicon, high tech and AI with Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia establishing themselves in modernisation and economic development, moving into semicon manufacturing, EVs, solar panels, rare earths refining, processing of raw materials that are in high demand in the tech industries. Singapore does not have the mass in land and population to make an impact but may find a small niche in AI.

These Asean countries are not shouting or trumpeting their success. But their GDP growth are among the highest in the world, real numbers, not fake, no cowdung included. The quality of life, education and industrialisation are moving very close to the developed world and would soon be in the same league as the western countries. Hopefully, the kampong politicians did not usurp power and scuttle the economic and industrial locomotives and return to nasi lemak and teh tarik economies. Germany has just moved 90b Euros to set up a car manufacturing plant in Malaysia.

The steady rise of Asean countries is inevitable with progressive leaders that understand the importance of economic and industrial growth to improve the quality of life of their people, to grow the  economic pie in peace and stability that Asean is offering. No infighting, no taking sides in big power rivalry, just stay neutral and do what is best in the interests of their countries and people. China is contributing in a big way towards the growth and progress of Asean by exporting their factories and transfer of technology to Asean countries, a willing partner and willing recipients marching ahead towards a share and common destiny for all.

Only the daft and those that have been drugged by the Indians believe that India is the next growth engine and superpower.

In a sense, India is a manufacturing powerhouse, the factory of the world in the production of human beings. I am convinced that India is now the human manufacturing superpower with the world's biggest population and powering ahead. So, in a way, Modi was right about making India the factory of the world - in human production that is.

Now Japan is conceding it is losing its fourth position in GDP ranking to India due to the falling yen and tensions with China. Modi's head-dress just expanded upon hearing the good news. What difference does overtaking Japan in GDP ranking mean in reality? Indians are still miles away from benefiting in its per-capita GDP compared to Japan, with standard of living of ordinary Indians far from what the ordinary Japanese are enjoying. Other than for boasting purposes, nothing is going to change for India.

Japan is in a position of its own making, getting screwed by the USA and the Anglo-Saxon clique over economic stifling over the decades. The tension with China further escalates Japan's fragile economy, and China is just starting to turn the screws on Japan.

Tourism and the banning of Japanese seafood are just warnings of what is to come. These two responses by China are just the appetizers. No bullets needed to be fired. China's total banning of rare earth exports to Japan will collapse the Japanese industrial sector if a shove becomes to a push. Japan had better wake the fxxk up quickly. The USA is in no position to help Japan in rare earth, with themselves already sinking into quicksand.

India just robbed Samsung of US$600m in fines. Samsung is pulling out of India...moving to Asean. Apple is also pulling out. Only silly countries with OPM are rushing in to earn rupees and to be cheated by the Indians.

Did Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Brunei, Timor Leste through their good money in India?

Every big company is running for their life when talking about investing in India. Throwing money in India is hoping to win big or lose everything. This is not investing but gambling, gambling with OPM. Very irresponsible.
When investing public funds, it is able safety, minimal risk and protecting the capital. Only gamblers go all in, in high risk activities.
