Both America and Singapore are having the same Indian immigration problems. Is Singapore copying America, like whatever is good for America is good for Singapore?
Chinatown hawker centre. Hawker Centres are a national heritage, selling a wide variety of food at very reasonable prices. They are spread across the whole island and is part of the Singapore way of life.

This one in Today's Parliament where Leong Mun Wah of PSP and some other Opposition MPs asked about Spore Jobs Employment Scene and our Great MOM Minister replied that we needed Foreign Talents to create jobs for Singaporeans.
Wow Sinkeland also hbA1c ah?
Blood sugar gula gula for Indians Nationals.
Basically we are following the US in most of our policy. The outsourcing of certain G function/responsibility to commercial companies (which employ foreigner due to cheaper cost or cronyism). Importing of so call "talent" to replace local, so as not to invest in local employee training. Having only 2 political party to play musical chair (unfortunately daft sinkies only love 1 chair).
What to expect when GST is supposed to help the poor. Restaurant owners fill toothpick holders to help the rich, LOL.
