'Putin is going to create a vast, uninhabitable no-man’s-land in the center of Ukraine that will separate east from west and end Ukraine’s existence as a viable, contiguous state. This is what a military-imposed settlement looks like. It’s not ideal and it doesn’t necessarily stop all the fighting, but it does address Russia’s basic security requirements which Washington chose to ignore.
Rest assured, that Washington will not like this settlement and will never agree to the new borders. But the United States will not have the final say-so in this matter and that is extremely important, because Washington’s role as the “guarantor of global security” is now a thing of the past.
Russia is going to decide Ukraine’s borders and that’s just the way it’s going to be. So, yes, we can expect to hear the gnashing of teeth at NATO Headquarters and the UN and at the White House, but to little effect. The matter is settled unless, of course, the US and NATO want to commit ground forces to the conflict which, we think, will precipitate a split in NATO that will inevitably lead to its collapse.
Either way, Ukraine’s fate is going to be decided in Moscow not Washington, and that reality is going to have a significant impact of the distribution of global power. There’s a new sheriff in town and he is definitely not an American.'

Russia will carve out a buffer zone, to the North East, stretching from Belarus to Donbass.
Russia's original intention was for Ukraine to remain outside NATO, as a buffer zone against NATO. NATO keep expanding and wants Ukraine inside NATO, which is just outside the door of Russia. No way will Putin agree.
Therefore, Russia will do what is necessary to get what it wanted in the first place, or a lesser alternative.
It all makes sense that Russia is enlising more troops to protect the buffer zone when it comes into being. With NATO disintegrating, a winter offensive on the cards, everything is falling into place for Putin. What can Ukraine do?
I do not even think the EU welcomes Ukraine into it's fold, as it is a big liability with rebuilding on the cards. Zelenskyy would have ran off after creaming off all the aid, while some Democrat senators will be laughing all the way to the bank, after receiving all the laundered money poured in by the USA and others. They better start voting in Congress to send in more aid to Ukraine, as the money laundering scam is about to end.
Washington already reached their objective of cutting off the EU's dependence on Russian energy and are laughing all the way to the bank. After hijacking the EU's dependence on Russian energy and now pivoting the EU's needs towards them, Ukraine is not going to be of much importance to them after Russia erects a buffer zone in North Eastern Ukraine. What can they do after all? The EU will be left to carry the baby, if it still exists after all this.
