US Warns India Not to Help Russia Undermine Dollar

A top US national security official has called on India to scale back its economic and military ties with Russia, warning of “consequences” for any nation that helps Moscow avoid the recent wave of Western sanctions.

Speaking to reporters after meeting with Indian officials on Thursday, Washington’s deputy national security adviser for international economics, Daleep Singh, urged New Delhi not to boost Russian energy imports, and to avoid any moves that might “undermine” the US dollar.

“What we would not like to see is a rapid acceleration of India’s imports from Russia as it relates to energy or any other any other exports that are currently being prohibited by the US,” he said, adding that the United States is “very keen for all countries, especially our allies and partners, not to create mechanisms that prop up the ruble and that attempt to undermine the dollar-based financial system.”

While condemning Russia’s “needless war” on Ukraine, Singh said his visit to India was “in a spirit of friendship to explain the mechanisms of our sanctions,” but nonetheless warned that there would be “consequences [for] countries that actively attempt to circumvent or backfill” those penalties.

Asked what those consequences could entail, the adviser declined to elaborate, saying that was part of “private discussions that I’m not going to share publicly.”

Singh’s remarks followed reports that Moscow and New Delhi are currently working out a rupee-ruble payment system, which would allow the two nations to conduct bilateral trade in each others’ currencies. India also recently agreed to buy a quantity of Russian crude oil at a discount, an unpopular decision with the US and some allies, who have embarked on a punitive sanctions campaign designed to isolate Russia’s economy and wreck the ruble.

Often portrayed as the “architect” of the US sanctions regime on Moscow, Singh went on to cite growing ties between Russia and China, cautioning that their partnership could have major consequences for India, which has long been locked in a territorial dispute with Beijing along the Sino-Indian border.

“If you set that against the reality that China and Russia have now declared a no limits partnership, and that Russia has said that China is its most important strategic partner, by extension, that has real implications for India,” he said, claiming that Moscow would not “come running to India’s defense” in the event of a Chinese incursion.

Very easy to convince India. Just tell them that they are on their own to deal with China.

And you gotta be stupid if you trust the West with your country's gold:

http://thesaker.is/natos-internal-gold-war/

'the BoE would not ever return such EU gold supposedly kept in custody for the past decades because it has been partially or totally sold off or loaned out or compromised as explained below with former UK Prime Minister James Gordon Brown knowing about it all too well.'

The modus operandi of the USA is warning followed by threatening gestures. They neve go about conducting diplomacy using logical persuasion.

Slovakia agrees to pay for Russian gas in rubles - First EU country to surrender, more to come

Slovakia will pay for Russian natural gas in rubles if that’s what it takes to keep the commodity flowing, Slovak Economy Minister Richard Sulik has said on national television.

“If there is a condition to pay in rubles, then we will pay in rubles,” Sulik said. He stressed that Russian imports account for roughly 85% of all Slovakian gas supplies, so the country’s authorities will remain pragmatic on the issue.

“We cannot be cut off from gas,” Sulik emphasized, urging the rest of Europe to jointly seek a solution.

As a member country of the European Union, Slovakia is very much tied to the Ukraine conflict but yet the country adopts a pragmatic approach.

In contrast, Singapore in faraway SE Asia eagerly jumped into the Ukraine conflict by joining the West in imposing sanctions on Russia, proudly trumpeting it holds a principled stance on the conflict when it's actually none of its business.

Last Friday, Chinese President Xi Jinping in a summit with the European Union told the Europeans that China is not a part of the Ukraine conflict and doesn't want to get involved, and said that the EU should not tie the world to the conflict which is just a regional European matter.

And this is what happened to 'unfriendly countries':

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/german-retailers-increase-food-prices-20-50-monday

'... on Monday, Germany will take one step toward a return of the dreaded Weimar hyperinflation, when according to the German Retail Association (HDE), consumers should prepare for another wave of price hikes for everyday goods and groceries with Reuters reporting that prices at German retail chains will explode between 20 and 50%:'

Another 3 - 6 months, the European economies would all implode and they would all queue up at the Russian borders begging for food.

Now they are blaming China and demanding that China releases its stockpile of food to the EU countries. How is this China's problem?

They started the war, they started the sanctions. And they held China to be responsible for the shit they are in.

This is white men's rule of law, and white men's lie.

Warned. Speaking like a gangster even though India had along been friendly to US and part of AUKUS. Just like US puppet EU Commissioner Vonderlyan ordering China 'must' do this or that.

India should now realise who their real friends are.

I am still at a loss of whats gone into the political elite and their minds with regards to sanctions on Russia.

This isn't their fight so let the white men fight among themselves. Used to be pragmatic and not taking side, so why picked on it creating problems for ourselves. Russia is retaliating against 'unfriiendly countries'. So far we,d been largely spared because we don't import Russian gas but you never know what action the may take next.

Next, LHL went to DC and invited US to be more involved in this region as if blind to the fact their naval carrier fleet aren't already stirring shit in SC Sea and the region.
Biden replied US is committed to its Indo-Pacific policy which is all about AUKUS, militarisation of SC Sea and vassal states specifically to contain China's rise. As he infamously once said, China getting better and prosperous over America is not going to happen under his watch.

India has been warned not to help Russia undermine the Us$. India better beware that they are not far off from being undermined, if the US$ remain and be used to undermine countries that cannot agree or do not do what they dictate. Already their close ties with Russia is an eyesore for the evil empire. India better remember the threat - You are either with us or against us. The warning can become a threat any time.

Next step will be the formation of SUKUS (LOL) comprising Singapore, UK and USA.

Instead of keeping the devil away, we are now inviting the devil into the house. And the devil is very happy to be invited. No other ASEAN country wants them here, because they know help is the last thing on the devil's mind and trouble and destruction is their objective. Singapore is in deep shit.

For five thousand years, did China invaded India or vice versa when the USA was not even born yet? Sure incursions have happened on both sides, but India and China did not even want USA involvement to settle the border disputes. That is how both countries viewed the USA, as a trouble maker rather than a peace maker.

The USA only interest is strategic and is only using India when it is needed. After than India may then face serious consequences like aby other country. Pakistan was s staunch ally of the USA at one time. Now the USA is trying to do a regime change by interference in it's internal affairs.

But . . .

US ramps up oil imports from Russia, pursues own interests at expense of European allies amid Ukraine crisis

In a contrasting move to its pressuring of European allies to not buy Russian oil against the backdrop of the ongoing Ukraine crisis, the US increased crude oil supplies from Russia by 43 percent, or 100,000 barrels per day, over the past week, Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Mikhail Popov told Russian media on Sunday, with critics pointing out that the US pursues its own interests at the costs of its European allies.

According to the Russian official, Europe should expect similar "surprises" from the US.

"Moreover, Washington allowed companies to export mineral fertilizers from Russia, recognizing them as essential goods," Popov added.

The US and European allies have been exploring banning imports of Russian oil since Russia-Ukraine conflict started, despite the fact that Europe relies on Russia for crude oil and natural gas. Europe faces pressure from the US and the UK - both oil producers - to impose a ban on Russian oil.

The US made huge profits buying Russian energy at a cheaper price and reselling them to Europe at a higher price to serve the interests of domestic oil interest groups. In the end, Europe becomes the victim.

Many people are talking about the USA ramping up the purchase of oil from Russia, while the blurred Europeans are panicking and peeing in their pants. The USA will destroy Europe to further their own interest. How could the Europeans still trust the USA is beyond understanding.

And how on earth could they be prohibiting other countries from buying Russian oil when they themselves are not walking the talk. Just goes to show how untrustworthy the USA can be.

Anyway, Europe is getting toasted for good. Even if the war ends and those sanctions are rolled back, Russia will still insist on Ruble for oil, nothing more and nothing less. Russia is out to defang NATO and remove the perennial threat that is acting totally under the control of the USA.

By the time the war end Europe will be energy & food independent of Russia. Not just Europe, but the world as well.

The USA will give every European a rope to hang themselves first and they will all be independent of Russia for energy and food.

For the whole world, after a nuclear war, nothing that grows will be edible and anything that moves, owned, invested, mansions, exotic yachts and cars, stocks will all turn into charcoal, fossil fuel or minerals for the next cycle of human existence. Where is there a need for food and oil?

This new South Korean President is really turning out to be a stooge of the USA and is itching to have his backside sodomised, talking about a first strike against the North.

Even if they could do that, does he really think China and Russia will stand idly by? He has forgotten the Korean War where China was ready to sacrifice so much for the North Koreans to prevent the USA taking over the North and stationing missiles across their border. He is tempting fate.
