According to ST, new malware tools the United States authorities warned about earlier this month target critical infrastructure and could function as "killware" capable of causing fatalities, said cyber-security experts.
This type of malware could be used against states that take a stand against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Experts believe that Singapore cannot be ruled out as a target, while the Government said that it is closely monitoring the situation.
On April 20, the US and its allies warned that Russia is preparing to launch cyber attacks against the critical infrastructure of rivals that support Ukraine and possibly in response to sanctions imposed by them.
PM Lee claimed Singapore is not choosing sides in taking a strong stand against Russia's invasion but standing up for the principles of territorial integrity and sovereignty.
He said Singapore took a similar stance when Cambodia was invaded by Vietnam in 1978, and when the United States invaded Grenada in 1983.
But what's not mentioned in these 2 earlier cases is that Singapore never impose sanctions on Vietnam or the US. This time, it joined the West wagon to hit Russia with sanctions, the only country in ASEAN brave enough to do so.

Ukraine is the tragedy of the 21st century. The country is sold out by Zelensky to the Americans. Zelensky is the main beneficiary of this sell out, being put on the throne as the President, probably part owner of the company that runs the underground bioweapon facility in the Steel Mill. Now he has stashed of money in foreign banks and properties waiting for him when Ukraine disintegrated. He would live a very rich life, if he is not terminated by the Americans for knowing too much.
The Russians would definitely win this war when they are free to roam the whole of Ukraine but the American and Nato forces could not enter. And Russia is just next door, with all the logistics in their favour. The Americans just bought Ukraine from Zelensky to be used as a battle field to wear out the Russians, without a care as to the destruction of Ukraine and its people. There is no way that Ukraine can win this war. The Ukrainians are just cannon fodder, the Ukrainian soldiers are just expendable bullets.
When all the Ukrainian soldiers are dead or captured, who is there to fight the Russians in Ukraine? A few mecernaries perhaps, but after a while there would be no more new mercenaries as the Russians are professional soldiers with the full complements of modern weapons, unlike the Afghans, Iraqis or Syrians. The mercenaries would be easily taken down.
There are strong oppositions to the Ukrainian Zelenskyy's forces.
The president does not command the entire Ukrainian forces.
These opposition forces are fighting against Zelenskyy's forces too.
Therefore, Ukraine will definitely fall from its present status, the status of the past seven years.
Zelenskyy is the temporal president, not the permanent one. However, owing to the instigation of USA and allies, this temporal position may be extended longer.
As such, Russia has no choice but to invade the country in order to ensure that the previous Non-NATO position can be imposed indefinitely as long as Ukraine existed.
This Ukraine war will last a long time because United States of America and the west will supply armaments to Zelensky. The poor Ukranians are the people who will bear all the sufferings. Russia will never allow a potential NATO country next to its border. The comedian Zelensky has been hoping for a ceasefire but also hoping to join NATO. That will never happen and thus the war will go on and on and on......
Russia will have no hesitation about hacking into Singapore's IT infrastructure now that we imposed sanctions on them. Be careful, limit your transactions, and don't take unnecessary risks with internet banking on mobile phone.

Virgo - I think by the winter, the Europe already got gas supply from other country, maybe middle east country like Saudi and Dubai. Hopefully the war is over by then and everything back to normal.
We are planning to go 12 or 15day Europe tour for Nov/Dec school holidays, but not Poland. If no gas by then, the hotel room all will be bloody cold. Cialat!

Transnistria should sell these obsolete ammunitions to Ukraine and Russia should then bomb it as it does with all obsolete weapons sold to Ukraine by EU nations. Disposal problem is solved, plus Transnistria makes some money. Sweden, Germany, Poland, Romania all sold obsolete weapons to Ukraine that were destroyed by Russia through missile strike. I read Germany is buying WW2 tanks from a museum, refurbish them then sell to Ukraine. Poland is selling Soviet era MiG's also.

Ukraine consider themselves smarter than everybody and keep pulling this trick of attacking things then trying to blame Russia for it. The thing is, though, that they're not good at it. Not good at it at all. See boys part of the trick is not to get caught when you're doing it - it sort of ruins the whole point.
