A member of the Standing Committee of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, said he will submit a proposal that suggests the country formulate a law on national reunification during the upcoming two sessions.
Zhang Lianqi said: "Over the past 17 years, the Anti-Secession Law has played an important role in curbing secessionist attempts for Taiwan independence and promoting the peaceful reunification of the motherland. Facing greater risks and challenges, conditions are becoming ripe to promote the reunification of the motherland by legal means, whether in a peaceful way or not."
Zhang said the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) authorities are colluding with the US to incite confrontation and seek independence. The CCP must use law-based means to promote the reunification.
The Anti-Secession Law focused on fighting "Taiwan independence," while the proposed reunification law will focus on promoting reunification, Zhang said.

Concept Of Recapture Rather Than Reunification Of Taiwan
Reunification is the wrong term to use. Since officially, the civil war between the CCP and the KMT has not been actually concluded, Mainland China should just continue the civil war to repossess or recapture Taiwan, instead of talking about reunification, which is really a misnomer. In a military conflict, one doesn't talk about reunification but recapture or repossession of an objective, target or land.
Why allow Taiwan so much time to play havoc?
At present, China is in a strong position to recapture Taiwan, and simultaneously able to defend itself against US Agressions and Military Adventurisms.
China should not waste time anymore.
Just carry out massive bombing across the whole of Taiwan on all military targets to destroy Taiwan's military capability to wage war against China. Including foreign forces stationed in Taiwan.
Singapore’s Starlight troops stationed in Taiwan can be used as an excuse by Singapore and the USA to blame China if they are hit by China's missiles. Therefore, China has to give Singapore the ultimatum to pull out all its forces from Taiwan, without any uncertainty or doubt. Singapore cannot continue to deploy her hostile troops on Taiwan, which is part of China, without the expressed permission of the Central Chinese Government any more.
This is another loophole that has to be plugged by China. Do not allow a US-stooge Singapore to play you round and round on behalf of the US.
Previously, there was a LKY personal relationship to think about. Now, the upstarts are calling the shorts that are pro-US and detrimental to China.
Today's Singapore leaders are extremely staunchly Pro-USA stooges and puppets. They do not like Chinese People and Chinese Leadership. They are staunchly in favour of Westerners and India Indians. These are the facts China must not neglect. Neglect at your own peril.
China does not need to fire a shot to retake Taiwan. Not everyone in Taiwan is pro Independence. Many wanted the return to the motherland rather to enjoy the rise of China and its increasing prosperity.
The present leaders of Taiwan could be arrested by the pro reunification Taiwanese/Chinese and everything is over.
Wait long long. It has been going on for 70 years now.
Don't leave it to chance. Make it happen. Time for waiting is over.
It has to be done both ways. China has to initiate it first. Then the KMT can move in to arrest the disguised Tsai Yin-wen Japanese clique. These hidden traitors cannot hide anymore. They have been exposed as Japanese, not Chinese. That's why they are so keen to hand over Taiwan to Japan, under the pretext of 'independence".
This is the best time for China to reclaim Taiwan. While the United States of America and the stooges are busy with the Ukraine war, China could walk in and take over.
No harm to allow the Taiwanese People to live as they are if they do not harm the Mainland and the Chinese World-wide.
However,
the Taiwanese People must rid off any traitor that harms the Chinese anywhere, not just those in the Mainland and Taiwan itself.
Apparently, there are traitors that work for the US and Japan. It is imperative that the Taiwanese People be aware that the Whites and the Japanese
have attempted to wipe-out or be in full control of the Chinese Tribe. They have failed but will not stop at it until they are defeated completely.
