From absolute numbers, Indonesia has the most infected cases and does not look good. Singapore at 8th position looks pretty good, only Laos and Brunei have lesser cases.
If we consider the population size of each country and look at the numbers from a per capita basis, Indonesia does not look that bad and Singapore does not look that good.
Just using some numbers as examples, Indonesia - 270m, Philippines - 107m, Vietnam - 97m, Thailand - 68m, Malaysia - 32m, Singapore - 5.8m. If we divide the number of cases by the population, we will get these, Indonesia - 0.0148, Philippines - 0.0187, Vietnam - 0.0062, Thailand - 0.0191, Malaysia - 0.0594, Singapore - 0.0122.
The most infected country is 1. Malaysia, followed by 2. Thailand, 3. Philippines, 4. Indonesia, 5. Singapore and then 6. Brunei, 7. Myanmar, 8. Vietnam, 9. Cambodia and 10. Laos.
If the cases in the dormitories, say 60,000 were to be added to Singapore's 70,000 = 130,000, Singapore's per capita number would be 0.0241, meaning Singapore would be number 2, after Malaysia. The equalisation of the numbers to per capita case does not look good for Singapore even at position 5.
Statistics can always be seen and interpreted in different ways. And you can have alternative truths depending on what data you choose to use.

I believe Cambodia and Laos are using Chinese and Russian vaccines primarily, but that has never been considered an important factor in their low infection statistics. Poorer countries seems to be doing quite successfully in their fight against COVID19, but the vaccine factor has never been highlighted as the reason.
The world needs to take off their tinted glasses and take a different approach to choosing vaccines and not just be bias towards Chinese vaccines that invariably works better in preventing infections in real life. Despite all the propaganda about how effective the mRNA vaccines are, the facts speak for themselves. Why is the virus spreading wildly in countries that used the mRNA vaccines but not in China? Just think and think deeply!
If Chinese vaccines are not doing a good job, China would long have lead the world in infections, so why then is China able to control the COVID19 virus as well as doing very well with the Delta variant? Yet the world choose to be blind to all these facts and just fall for the slick advertising and claims that never tally with the facts. Non so blind as those who refused to see.
China practically has Covid under control but our silly fucks chose to learn and follow the Americans when they have lost control of the virus.
Good thing don't learn, learn bad things. Stupidity has no cure.
Still believe Chinese vaccines no good, American fake vaccines good.
Had China's infections been like India's you can be sure it will all be blamed on Sinovac and other Chinese vaccines.
Thankfully, heaven has eyes and the West had little to hold on to in trying to discredit Chinese vaccines. Otherwise the sky would have fallen for Sinovac and the MSM of the West would be trumpeting the failure of Chinese vaccines.
The Indian propaganda media, Gravitas aka WION would be the first to seize on the opportunity to stigmatise China with the BBC, Fox News, Sky News etc close behind.
The most laughable point pf Western journalism is their eagerness to pounce on silly, small things like Kim Jong Un's weight loss, Joe Biden looking at his watch while waiting for the coffins from Afghanistan, Kim Jong Un's not appearing and presumed gravely sick. Are all these that important and they have nothing else to write on? The Government is a joke, the MSM is a joke, the country is a joke.
The stupid are still hoping that a third dose of mRNA placebo would stop the spread of the virus. If third dose does not work, go for fourth dose, then fifth and so on.
What is important is more money to the pharma companies. Never mind more hopefuls would die in the process.
Though Chinese vaccines are not the only factor that led to zero cases in China now, they still contributed a lot to the triumph against the virus.
Chinese vaccines are thus the best if one is to look objectively at the failure of western vaccines in controlling the pandemic. The western vaccines have failed miserably. Period.
Only fools cannot see the stark difference in the spread of the virus in China versus America or countries using mRNA vaccines.
The statistics is the best proof of the success of Chinese vaccines.
But strangely, there is dead silence on the MSM on why China's infection is still low. Isn't the low infections in China a subject of interest to the rest of the world? And why being so low has no bearing on vaccines used to fight against the COVID19 virus? How ridiculous can human beings be!
China has no local cases for months. The recent outbreaks in Shanghai and Yunnan were imported but had been eradicated. Now China is free of local cases again.
The handful of cases reported were all imported, detected at the airports.
China is Covid19 free!
Singapore now has leaders who are exactly opposite from the wisdom of Lee Kuan Yew. Though LKY was educated in Cambridge, he was not totally sold to Western ideas and propaganda. However, his eldest son, who is the present PM, is too inclined to follow the orders of Western Masters, thereby becoming a mere skeleton-less, easily-swayed Western stooge. Never use his own brain in solving this Pandemic problems.
Singaporeans' luck must have ran out. That's why you get this bunch of idiots handling this problem.
