The
cluster at the dormitory located in Woodlands announced on Monday by
the Ministry of Health (MOH) is today confirmed to have 86 migrants
infected.
Testing operations there have been completed and all
the results have come back. But MOH did not mention what the results
were. Only about 5,300 residents at the dormitory had been swabbed.
All residents will be tested frequently over the next few weeks, MOH added.
MOH
has not mentioned whether other dormitories will be tested too. It
seems to be the standard wait-and-see reactive modus operandi as
habitually as the past.
All the 86 Covid-19 infected diseased foreigners are fully vaccinated, except one who is partially vaccinated.
All
of them either display no symptoms or very mild symptoms. This is the
most dangerous of all. They have gone to work in the housing estates,
thinking that they were well. Many of them are very careless about
wearing their masks properly and they mingled with the public when they
go to the shops or malls.
This incident, and more to come, is a
clear proof that FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE CAN GET INFECTED AND THEY CAN
BECOME SUPER SPREADERS!

COVID-19 Pandemic: Hurt Community, Not Herd Immunity
Fears are growing about rising Covid-19 infections among children as the United States is turning into a dangerous bell-wether for other countries, some of which are preparing for a return to school without mask mandates in classrooms and access to vaccines for younger age groups are still not forthcoming.
The whole world is in great danger of destroying a whole future generation with probable long-term negative implications and consequences.
In this Pandemic, no country is safe until all countries are safe.
Gangho and gangster-like leaders who are adamant in opening up their countries for some economic head starts and gains, thereby exposing their citizens to more imported infections, will be the primary cause and worry for the rest of the world that follow the zero-tolerance approach. Such careless and myopic leaders may believe they can live with the coronavirus but in reality they are courting deaths and further destruction to their countries' economy, as well as the safety of 9 billion people in the world.
Such irresponsible leaders, thinking that they are responsible for the well-being of their citizens, are actually doing things against the well-being of their citizens and the rest of the world.
Living with the coronavirus is easy to say but difficult to implement. It can only be implemented if the whole world, not just a single or few countries, can achieve Herd Immunity.
Herd Immunity can only be achieved if the vaccine is effective and long-lasting for at least a year or more.
If the effectiveness of the present Covid vaccines available last only two months, or thereabouts, it is foolishness to talk about Herd Immunity, let alone achieving it. You are going to deceive yourself, no one else. You will only achieve a Hurt Community!
The benefits of the vaccines do not outweigh the risks simply because the benefits are subjective and the long-term risks are still very much unknown, even to the vaccines producers themselves!
Moreover, Herd Immunity MAY ONLY be achieved if at least 80% of the population, across the board, are fully vaccinated with really effective vaccines, not experimental vaccines that still have numerous loopholes to plug. Requiring a third and/or more booster shots is a clear indication that loopholes are still being exposed and forthcoming. Using such unreliable vaccines, with proven ineffectiveness of fully vaccinated still get infected enmass, will only result in a Hurt Community instead of Herd Immunity.
So, a few words to the gangho or ganster-like leaders:
For goodness sake, do not play with the lives of your people, irrespective of whether they are old and having some pre-existing medical conditions, or they are very young and do not have the vaccines available to them. You will have a lot of blood on your hands if you try to play God. You are ignorant and fallible. You are not God!
Be responsible!

The aged and those who already completed their family, there is less to worry about, except what effects they will face with the coming booster shots. That is a sure thing to come, now that the narratives are out, with so called studies claiming the effectiveness of the Pfizer shots wane after six months. If booster shots come one after another, that is no laughing matter, except for Pfizer and Moderna.
The more worrying segment of the population would be those starting families and teens getting their shots, not knowing what the long term effects on their future children and grandchildren will be like. That factor is still unknow and the vaccine is said to be experimental.

Moderna Contamination In Japan
The coronavirus vaccination drive at more than 800 sites across Japan may be disrupted after foreign substances were found in some vials of the Moderna vaccine.
Japan's health ministry on Thursday decided to halt the use of about 1.63 million doses of the Moderna vaccine that were manufactured in the same factory in Spain at around the same time as the contaminated vials.
Over the past 10 days, foreign substances were discovered in 39 unused vials at eight vaccination sites in Japan. All the tainted vials were made in Spain and were shipped to Japan from late July.
The ministry says it has not received any reports of health damage from the vaccines.
The 1.63 million doses of the vaccine had been distributed to 863 vaccination sites across the country. The ministry began notifying these sites on Thursday morning.
The ministry has not disclosed the names of the affected sites. But officials say large-scale vaccination sites operated by municipalities and sites set up by companies and universities are included.
The Agency for Cultural Affairs abruptly canceled a vaccination program for people engaged in cultural and artistic activities that had been scheduled for Thursday at the National Art Center, Tokyo. The unused vaccines at the site included doses from the same production lot as the contaminated vials.
The ministry says it will work to minimize the impact on the vaccination schedule by sending replacement vaccines to the sites.
Takeda Pharmaceutical, which handles the distribution of Moderna vaccines in Japan, says it has asked the US company to identify the foreign substances and to explain how the vials were contaminated.
Superspreaders do not really exist. It is simply a term devised by the media to spice up the headlines or create clickbait.
Anyone who have spread the virus to ten or more people is considered as a super spreader.
