Random Thoughts Of The Day

 Random Thoughts Of The Day

Sights of injustice in our midst, getting from bad to worse, have led me to the following random thoughts:

Question:
What is the difference between nepotism and cronyism?

Answer: Nepotism refers to partiality to family whereas cronyism refers to partiality to an associate or friend.

Question: What is favoritism?

Answer: Favoritism, the broadest of the terms, refers to partiality based upon being part of a favored group, rather than job performance. Meritocracy based on favoritism is not meritocracy but corrupted thoughts and despicable deeds of the highest order.

Question: Are double-standards, ill-will, subtle coercion and indirect corruption rampant in our society, any society?

Answer: As long as there are scoundrous men and women existing to take advantage of and exploit others for own selfish interests, double-standards, ill-will, coercion, corruption and intimidation will exist anywhere, without exception.

Question: Are manipulation and propaganda, both aimed at altering the mind of others, derived from a corrupted mind?

Answer: Manipulation is direct intervention of others' mind, while propaganda is indirect and subtle interference of others' thinking.

Question: Is skewed interpretation of the laws, in favour of one party against another, a kind of corrupt behaviour?

Answer: Yes, it is not only corrupted behaviour but also corrupted mind.

Question: Why is there a need for more and more new laws, rules and regulations?

Answer: The more the authorities create new laws to protect themselves, instead of safeguarding and protecting thethe people's rights, the more the system is corrupted. Competent and honest authorities do not need more new laws and regulations and rules to tie down the masses' freedom in any form.

Question: What type of leaders have the tendency to create and issue more and more new laws, decrees, orders, rules, and regulations?

Answer: New laws, decrees, rules and regulations are usually issued by fearful, incompetent and inefficient leaders with a serious lack of self-confidence and self-respect.

Owing to the serious lack of self-respect, leaders' speech and action usually display a blatant lack of respect for others, especially to the commoners. This situation can be easily seen in the way society is divided into elites vs commoners, powerful vs powerless, filthy rich vs exploited poor, arrogant and haughty wives of high ranking leaders vs meek housewives of the commoners.

A society devoid of wisdom and compassion is a society condemned. Such a society breeds high horses and black mares, many of whom do not really deserve their position but were propped up by unfair means and dishonesty disguised as fair and honest.

Wool cannot cover the eyes and block the vision for long. Wool has perforations that allow the eyes to peek through its entangled mesh. Pulling wool over the eyes of the masses is the most short-sighted stupidity.

Those skilled in deception deceive without deceiving. That is the ultimate art of the crooked human mind that has been regularly grind and polished to shine and outshine.

Why So Many Contempt of Court Cases?

Injustice breeds contempt. This is the basic understanding that all good leaders must bear in mind.

Contempts of court brought as charges against anyone is actually a direct reflection of prolonged injustices that have been happening until they broke the camel's back.

The more the charges for contempt, the deeper the roots of contempt.

The roots of all contempts of authorities lie deep into the ground of injustice.

Nipping them at the buds as they sprouted is not only inefficiently ineffective but helps to drive the injustice deeper into the ground, to fester and grow until, one opportune day, it becomes too late to do any amends. That is the saddest and most common cause for mutiny and revolution.

Wise leaders and judges, with compassion, usually do not need nor wish to deal with contempt of court incidents. They know it is counter-productive in the eyes of the masses.

You do not kill the chicken to frighten the monkeys. The chicken will continue to be chicken. The monkeys will continue to be monkeys.

In fact, the monkeys will learn from you the art of killing the chicken. And one fine day, the monkeys will take you as chicken to be killed.

"Judge one and be judged by many!" This is the price to pay with regards to contempt of court cases in this Internet Age.

A system that is just and fair will have no need to deal with any contempt of court cases.

Therefore, the rise of contempt of court cases does not reflect well on the society we live in.

Obvious signs of facism.

A system that is deliberately set up to handle contempt of court cases, by enacting new laws, is the system that needs a serious soul searching, especially during the 7th Moon of the Hungry Ghosts and on the All Souls Day. For the ghosts of injustice will come back to haunt you throughout all the remaining days of your almighty haughty life.

Question:

What is the difference between Nazism and Fascism?

Answer:

Stalinism, and communist ideology in general, is universal in its appeal and addresses itself to all the "workers of the world." Nazism, on the other hand, and fascist ideology in general, can only address itself to one particular race or nation – the "master race" that is destined to dominate all others.

For example, PAP's self-proclaimed "Natural Aristocracy" is the present day "master race" that is determined to dominate all commoners and sundry in Singapore for a long time to come.

The ruling party of this tiny rock has created itself it's own caste system of the modern world in this part of region, no doubt about it. A society divided according to the have and have not is bound to have some issues and problems. One may say so what no society is perfect but at a rate like this, more and more will be left behind & if nothing is done, it will juz meet its nemesis one day. If that same wine still can be pour into another new bottle, then problems will juz be there & never get solve at all. To the day of a new awakening, majority will juz suffers & until a new Moses or Noah shows up nothing will change.

A Semblance Of Parliamentary Democracy Is Not Democracy

In a normal country that adopts and follows the Parliamentary Democracy
properly, the Three Arms of Government - Legislative, Judiciary and Executive - are separate and independent, so as to enable one arm to check and counter-check the others, always looking out for hanky-panky manoeuvres that might be hidden within the policies, laws and regulations, etc.

Even the appointments of top leaders cannot be left to the Prime Minister alone to recommend to and then the President appoints by going through the motion. This is child's play of children trying to bluff themselves.

Has the President ever turned down any person that was recommended (advised) by the PM? As far as we can see, none whatsoever in the 55 years' history of Sinkingland.

In Sinkingland, the Government runs the Legislative, the Judiciary and the Executive - 3-in-1 instant coffee with milk and sugar.

Outwardly, once a while, someone will insist that the three branches (arms) are separate and independent. How can that be when the same set of people are in the Executive as well as in the Legislative? Only the Judiciary may claim to have some form of independence because the personalities are different. But still the Judiciary is being overseen by the Law Ministry, that recommends the judges to the PM, who in turn "advises" the President to appoint them.

And who is the one who "appoints" the President, who has no one to contest with and therefore just walked over from one office to the next without a proper election?

All very convenient and expedient. And not a single church mouse dares to even make a squeak. That is the Beauty of having UNFETTED ABSOLUTE POWER!

However, all things must come to an end one day, sooner or later.

Democracy is a threat to Aristocrats who seek to stay in power to glorify themselves and their bank accounts.
