Violations of human rights and Geneva Convention
Jimmy Carter had put it squarely that Bush violated human rights and the Geneva Convention in the interrogation of prisoners. And Abu Ghraib and the infamous Guantanamo Camps were testaments to the crimes of the Bush regime.
Why is it that they are allowed to continue for so long and the self righteous western press and govt just made skim comments and do nothing?
What kind of hypocrisy is that that even an ex American President deemed it enough and could not take it any more to say it out loud?

That peanut farmer was an embarrassment to the US Presidency.
The point of being a US President is to violate the rights of as many non-white people as possible, and colonise them.
What the fuck is Carter on about? Many US presidents dropped bombs on foreigners—Woodrow Wilson, Roosevelt, Nixon, Johnson, the Kennedy bros (#1 nearly started WW3), Reagan, Ford both Bushes, Clinton, and that red-neck peanut farmer Carter.
how come these were not reported in the western media?
The western media is ah kah liau with the government lah.
There's no such thing as a "free press", media bosses and politicians can be seen wining and dining each other everyday.
If you want to have a State, you are going to have collusion, cartels and alliances of power and influence—not that these are essentially "bad", but they are "bad" because the screw the little people.
somehow is going to be very pleased hearing this...no real freedom of the press...boo hoo hooo.
Alamak, please lah the press is "free" only to the point that they are "free" to make as much money as possible.
As you know, very well, I am sure—the newspaper and media business is tough one—every advertising dollar is fought for with vigour, there are on-going initiatives to increase readership (which means more advert revenue)
... and occasionally, you will see good FACTUAL reporting...
