Two myths have been broken as a result of this war against Iran.

Two myths have been broken as a result of this war against Iran.

Israel's 'Iron Dome' invincibility has been shattered to pieces. Iran has shown the way by taking out the radar system guiding the patriot and THAAD interceptors. That was a master stroke of genius. Without the guidance of the radar system, interceptors are basically depending on luck to take down incoming missiles. Moreover, the cost of such interceptors is mathematically a counterproductive usage of resources, needing more than one interceptor to take down a single cheap missile. In fact, there is no defense against cluster bombs which Iran possesses.

Aircraft carriers are no longer the invincible master of the sea for the projection of power. They are more like sitting ducks today with hypersonic drones and missiles that have ever longer reach. How to project power when such aircraft carriers are afraid to move closer to the enemy's shoreline to launch fighter jets in order to drop bombs. Parking an aircraft carrier a few thousand kilometers offshore may not even make it possible for the fighter jets to take off for a mission and return to the deck of the same aircraft carrier, needing refueling, which also exposes the airtanker to enemy missiles.

China has been the biggest beneficiary. leveraging on the Iranian experience. Not just the tactics employed, but the opportunity to enable China to test drive and improve its BeiDou satellite system, its hypersonic missiles, and above all making China's Yuan the de-facto currency of the oil deals and the collection of tolls at the Straits of Hormuz by the Iranians. Many countries are beginning to negotiate for permission to safely bypass the Straits of Hormuz. How much tolls are the Iranian's collecting so far, as there are still possibly hundreds of ships still stuck in the Persian Gulf.

This war will possibly change forever the geopolitical landscape of the Middle East, long dominated by the USA with multiple military bases in the region. It could even destroy the US$ hegemony when Middle East oil exporters start selling their oil also in other currencies other than US$, if and when the umbilical cord that links to the USA is cut.

The most important outcome of this war must be that Iran will now openly and officially control the Straits of Hormuz and the resultant oil trade in the Middle East. This must be the 'mother of all gifts' for Iran resulting from the war against the USA and Israel. Call it a blessing in disguise if you will.

Furthermore, it is going to change the mindset of the Gulf countries, having realized that the USA is unable to protect their infrastructures, a myth that they had always been led to believe in for decades. In fact, that myth had already been exposed years ago, when the Houthis attacked a Saudi oil installation using crude rockets which the Patriot interceptors were unable to respond. The irony is that the incident had never been capitalized by others to silence the effectiveness of those Patriot interceptors, and the incident was just quietly swept under the rug. How to when US$ millions or even billions had already been invested in those air defense interceptors

Now the USA air defense myth had been destroyed by Iran and widely exposed. Reports that the Gulf countries are planning to form a collective military umbrella to protect themselves have emerged, the same as the Europeans now moving in the same direction. That is going to change the whole global outlook that had always been fixated on USA military domination to protect them against, should I say, imaginary enemies all along. It is a big issue: a mountain of an issue, being deceptively being watered down into a molehill, but the reality is there for them to see and ponder about. It will result in countries asking about the effectiveness of those Patriot and THAAD interceptors. The bigger question must be about the suspicion of kill switches being applied, as happened in Qatar when Israeli drones were able to target Hamas leaders holding a peace meeting in Qatar regarding the war in Gaza. Qatar was gloated to be very well covered by USA missile defense umbrella, yet unable to deploy them against Israeli drones. Why is that so?

What did Trump accomplish in his illegal war against Iran? Iran still has its enriched Uranium and will now make its bomb. No more religious restraint holding it back. Iran still controls the Straits of Hormuz. Iran will even benefit from the collection of tolls from ships using the Straits of Hormuz if it comes into force.

Trump's only accomplishment is assassinating the Iranian Supreme Leader, now becoming a martyr pulling the people together. and, of course, murdering 160 innocent schoolgirls. What an accomplishment to brag about you can be sure.

Netanyahu thinks he has accomplished only half of what he set out to do, which is assassinating Iran's Supreme Leader and killing schoolgirls. Iran is going to get it bomb for sure now. Out of the frying pan into the fire is no accomplishment.
