Now that FIFA has taken over the award of 'Peace Prize', the Nobel Peace Prize award has been cancelled due to the unknown whereabouts of the awardee, Maria Corina Machado. Things are getting really interesting. Maybe without Machado, Trump should get that prize, LOL.
I was just thinking that this is too co-incidental, too convenient, too connected with developments in Venezuela and maybe too good an opportunity to miss to demonize the regime of Nicolas Maduro. Machado's award of the Nobel Peace Prize has been mired in controversy for someone helping to destabilize Venezuela. To be blunt, that is no more than a traitor to her own country. It devalues the Nobel Peace Prize and what it stands for.
All right then, let FIFA be the one to award Peace Prize in future. Alfred Nobel can rest in peace and not worrying about who gets it. FIFA can nominate, decide and award to whoever it wants.

I could not believe Trump saying that he can end the conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. On the contrary, his dirty hands, used to stirring shit, are going to make the situation worse. How is he going to do it? How about ending the war in Ukraine within 24 hours first after taking office. After almost a year, is the war in Ukraine over?
I was indeed surprised that the Thai foreign minister, Sihasak Phuangketkeow, on Channel News America said that he was himself surprised that Trump is going to be involved in the truce deal version 2, after the failure of version 1. Now, since the failure of truce deal version 1, who really wants Trump dipping his dirty hands into the whole affair, with the Thai foreign minister saying that he prefers any truce to be decided by the two parties themselves without outside interference. Clear and simple.
Trump's circus comes to town often and Trump merely wants to take any credit with his involvement. How many peace deals had he tried to broker between Russia and Ukraine. Any success so far? Just talking and posturing to make the stock market rise and fall is all there is to it. Yet he thinks he is the God Almighty able to do miracles anywhere he goes and boasting loudly about it from day one. The world has seen enough of his grotesque shenanigans over and over again. The man is so blatantly dishonest in his deals that it is a mystery why his base still supported him.
Trump has to take a leaf from China's Wang Yi, brokering the peace deal between Iran and Saudi Arabia, quietly, without fanfare, without loud boasting, without the USA involved and yet the deal still holds. Think about it.

Like in Ukraine and the Middle East. Sell them shit to throw at each other and then pretend to broker piss deals at the same time. Piss and shit follow each other by nature in the toilet business, right? The USA can fool most people most of the time, but not everybody all the time.
As what Eli the computer guy said, the USA lost everything that it dabbled in eventually. The USA lost the wars in Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq that everybody saw and knew, that were impossible to cover-up, unlike the JFK assassination and 911 event that were being covered up all at home. The USA lost the sanctions war against Russia that everyone is now seeing. The USA lost the trade war against China that is unfolding with USA farmers footing the loss and suffering the collateral damage. So does the tariff war against China. The USA is losing the AI war against China that is unfolding now as well.
Let me dwell deeper into AI, that the USA is trying to win using the proprietary model of hostage taking against users of USA developed AI systems, while China is trotting out open-source models for everyone to use and make changes as they deem fit or like. Now who is going to win the AI war is a no brainer.
While on that topic, Nvidia is trying to win over everyone with its touted superior GPU dominance, while China is countering superior hardware by overcoming that disadvantage by designing systems using less high-end chips/GPUs and producing the same result. What that means is that China is able to achieve high-end AI results with cheaper cost, meaning a few million dollars set-up in cost against Western AI models costing tens of billion dollars set up, achieving the same result. The same system of China producing cheaper goods competing with highly expensive Western products and yet winning the ground. The end result for both is for all to see and for all to enjoy.

Every move by the USA carries a sinister motive. Is the sale of Nvidia H200 chips a move to loosen China's resolve to pour all resources into the sector. China must weigh the consequences of Trump's move.
Trump wants a 25% cut regarding Nvidia's H200 chip sales to China. Will China take the bait? Understand that particular chip is 18 months old. In technology, 18 months is almost reaching obsolescence.
Trump is trying to push the blame over the plight of the farmers in USA to Joe Biden. I cannot honestly believe farmers are going to swallow the shit, knowing that Trump was the one who started the trade war against China during his first term that affected the farmers. In any case those farmers voted for him, so they got what they voted for.
