It is most appropriate that the citizens of Canada are called Canadians, from Canada and India. The Indian population in Canada is growing exponentially, now more than 10% and growing out of control. Now the Indian votes are so critical that even white Canadian politicians have to make special effort to curry favours from the Indian voters to be elected. The Indians are the king makers and soon will take over the govt of Canada.
Many Canadian cities are now turning to look like Indian cities. Can you imagine what it would be like if Indian nationals grow to 20% or even more? The Indian migration into Canada is not by the families, it is by the villages. The whole village would uproot, with recommendation and support from the Indians already in Canada to be transplanted in Canada.
The Hongkongers were the early migrants to Canada and were once a big foreign community. They are now finding it a big squeeze and a Canada that is not what it used to be. The ex Hongkongers are starting to return to Hong Kong, making space for the Indians.
It is only a matter of time when India will have its first colony outside India, in Canada. Britain, Australia and New Zealand are next on the list. Trump is having cold feet and has raised high barriers to stop the flow of Indians into America. This is a silly thing to do as the American economy now depends on Indian talents to keep it going. White Americans are not good enough to be CEOs of American companies, especially banks and IT and AI companies. Silicon Valley will not be the same if the Indian talents are not coming in or diminishing. Trump is caught in a bind.
Singapore will stand to be the biggest winner if the AngloSaxon countries stop letting the Indians in. Singapore will open its arms widely to receive the Indian talents into this best Indian city in South East Asia. Singapore will get a big boost in its IT and AI industries with the influx of Indian talents and will become the top smart city in the world, as good as top smart cities in India, and will give Bengaluru and Mumbai a run for their money. Singapore even become the Silicon Valley of Asean if all the Indian talents in Silicon Valley can be attracted to work here. And yes, the local banks would have the good fortune of many talented Indian bankers to pick from to be their CEOs. UOB and OCBC can then be as good as DBS, as big as DBS and can have UOB India, OCBC India to boot.
The Indians will be very happy to be Canadians as that is a big country and can take in 10, 20 or even 100 million Indians and still have space for more. Caveat, if they turn Canada into another India, where would they migrate to next to escape the new Canadian India? The white Canadians can hope to migrate to Greenland or Alaska.
