American sanctions can only work if the Americans carry the big stick and can whack anyone that refused to take their orders. American sanctions only work when countries still need to buy and sell to the Americans. Sanctions only work when countries need to use the American dollars and American controlled banking system to trade. And to some, sanctions would work when they have money left in America or American banks that can be seized by the Americans, or already seized by the Americans, like Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, and several Arab states, or like the Marcos money in the US.
With the rise of Russia, China, Iran and North Korea as military powers, the ruthless American terrorists can no longer wield their big stick so freely. Syria and Ukraine are good examples. Americans can still abuse their control of the dollar and banking system to threaten states in the free world, free only when the Americans said so under Americans' so called 'Rules Based Order' or American mafia rules and order. Americans made the rules for others to obey.
The rise of China as the factory of the world, manufacturing and making everything the world needs, better and cheaper, is the biggest challenge to the American hegenony and sanction threat on countries of the world. This is the real reason why the Americans are trying to stop China from producing goods for the rest of the world, accusing China of overcapacity in production. China's overcapacity is a blessing and will free the rest of the world from the need to buy American.
Increasingly, countries do not need to trade with the Americans when they can buy everything they need from China and sell to China, in RMB or in BRICS currency. When this happens, there is no need for the dollar, no need to use the American SWIFT system, and no need to fear sanctions. The Americans can sanction all its wants to whoever they want, but who cares. Sanctions would become meaningless and futile when there is no need to trade with America.
This day is coming very soon. And whenever Americans impose a sanction, it would only be sanctioning themselves. Who cares about American sanctions anymore? Today, China is the top trading partners of more than 125 countries. These countries can easily severe trade with the USA and just trade with China.

Several Taiwanese celebrities reposted a Chinese media statement on Wednesday (May 22) that Taiwan must return to China, after President Lai Ching-te said that the two sides of the Taiwan Strait are not subordinate to each other.
On Monday (May 20), Lai in his inauguration speech said Taiwan and China are not subordinate to each other. He urged Beijing to stop its threats against the country and respect the will of the Taiwanese, which China interpreted as an attempt to promote Taiwanese independence.
In response, Chinese state-run media CCTV on its Weibo account posted, "Taiwan has never been a country and will never become one,” per CNA. It added, “Taiwan independence is a dead end. The reunification of the motherland is unstoppable! China will eventually achieve complete reunification.”
Over 30 celebrities reposted the statement, including Chinese actresses and singers Yang Mi, Zhao Lusi, and Dilraba Dilmurat.
However, several Taiwanese celebrities also reposted the statement, including singer and actress Nana Ouyang, journalist Patty Hou, actor and model Darren Chen, and actor and singer Riley Wang. Nana Ouyang, who has previously been outspoken about her belief that Taiwan is a part of China, wrote in her post, “China will eventually achieve complete reunification, and Taiwan will surely return to the embrace of the motherland!”

But it works in opposite direction. Rubles still around and not turned to dust. Russia is still around, still the biggest country in the world. Putin still visiting. His next visit is North Korea. And the USA and the West is beating their heads in disbelieve. Despite the ICC arrest warrant, Putin is still a free man to visit China and North Korea. Putin cares little about visiting USA, UK or Eastern Europe with nothing to offer.
Sanctions on Russia work perfectly on the poor European states. Their economies are going down and recession is at their doorstep. They would soon be begging for mercy to be allowed to buy Russia oil and gas and be allowed to trade with China.
All the silly American colonies and cronies are being coerced by the Americans to take sides against Russia, China, Iran, North Korea etc etc. They should themselves lucky not being turned into another Ukraine. Ooops, some have volunteered to be Zelensky and Ukraine.
Why is Putin paying another visit to China? Why is he going to North Korea? These are questions of immense interest.
