Yet, despite all of the confusing aspects, all of those nations including Singapore have signed on. This vague proposition is just noise. There is no formal agreement or countries voting to approve. It’s just another half baked Biden distraction for woes at home. I do not see any economic goals, no new markets, no reduced tariffs. I do not see how any of it is supposed to help the economies of the signatories. The Americans are waving a piece of blank paper they called the IPEF and claimed that “It is by any account the most significant international economic engagement that the United States has ever had in this region”. This is quite normal of the Americans to brag about anything or nothing as the best thing they have come out with. The strange thing is that there are 12 believers, other than the snake oil salesman himself, that believe in the goodness of this piece of blank papers when there is no words on it, except the words of the snake oil salesman. We have heard of many scams over the news about people loosing millions to scammers, believing in the scammers' pitch that was too good to be true. Now we have leaders of nation states believing in thin air, probably signing on the dotted line to say, I am in. What happens if this IPEF turns out to be another scam?
The other point the Americans are bragging is the so called international order. What is this international order aka rule based order and how international is it? In practice, in reality, this is an American rules order crafted and dictated by the Americans. Everyone can participate in this world order only if the Americans allowed it. If the Americans branded any country as enemy, they would be blocked from participating in this 'international order'. The Americans alone decide the terms and conditions and the participants in this 'international order'. Many countries have been sanctioned and kept out of this 'international order' at the whims and fancy of the Americans. Its international part is as good as what the Americans called the 'international community' meaning the Americans and their European allies and stooges. The American version of 'international community' did not include the rest of the world, particularly the third world and countries the Americans branded as enemies.
When the Americans used the term 'international order' and 'international community', it is them against the rest of the world. Many from the rest of the world are not part of the 'international community' and not participants of the 'international order' aka American rules order. These are American lies at best. The Americans and the European countries and American stooges do not represent the whole of the 'international community', and the 'international order' is not international but an American rules order, like the SWIFT banking system, supposed to be international but American controlled and dominated.
Be aware of these phrases and do not be deceived by the Americans. It is about them against the rest of the world. When the Americans shout international it is not international. When the Americans shout democracy, it is not about democracy. When they shout human rights, it is not about human rights. It is all about Americans and their dominance over the rest of the world, the evil Imperial American Empire.

Not only must China be wary of the Japanese. Countries around the Pacific region better wake up. They committed so much atrocities in Asia during WW2, and have still not admitted their sins and planning again to revive their sphere of influence.
It would be a beautiful sight.
USA's almost a thousand military bases all over the world are said to protect those countries. The same kind of lying they trotted out about keeping the Native Americans in concentration camps, given the innocent spin as 'reservations' to protect them. In other words to protect the Native Americans from the White murderers themselves.
So, who are the USA military bases actually protecting? Their hegemony of course, and the purpose of those bases are to make sure those countries hosting their military bases are subservient, obedient, and continue keeping a distance from all the 'bad guys' like China and Russia. They will be richly rewarded with alliances galore. The countries that hosted their military bases are just pawns to be sacrificed in times of war. Targeting those bases means destroying the country. The USA will thus be untouched or so they still think.
At one time, to colonise a country, a white man just planted a flag and said he found it for his king or queen.
When nationalism was on the rise, and colonialists were told to leave the colony, the Americans reinvented the colonial game but planting their military bases in the new colonies but without calling them colonies. The American flags still fly in those colonised states.
A colony is a colony by any other name. If you wish to count and identify American colonies, just look out for American bases in the country.
That's why it is called a framework and not an agreement. TPP is still in effect, and it is possible that this framework will eventually be consolidated with the TPP. That would allow the US to join TPP while saving face for its earlier pullout.
The USA does it better than the Brits. The Brits, when colonising a country, had to set up it's governing outfit, defence, security and financial help as well. That is why they became irrelevant after suffering financial ruin running all those services.
The USA only need to station troops inside the country they want to colonise, without a care about running the country and where it is heading, other than making sure they are obedient, and do as they are told.
Right, USA bases in a country indicates that the country is a colony of the USA.
For example, the creation of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) was clearly meant to undercut China by providing incentives for Asian countries to decouple from Beijing and isolate China from Indo-Pacific supply chains. The problem is that the IPEF is not a trade deal, probably because the Biden administration would never be able to pass it through Congress, and does not provide tariff reductions or market access.
How to make those countries undercut China? Incentives? Would US$15 million per country be enough for them to decouple and isolate from China, when their total trade with China runs into the billions?
It would be pure stupidity if the Indo Pacific countries fall into the USA trap, like the Europeans. Asians are smarter than the Whites in Europe and knows who is buttering their bread. The Whites in Europe still do not realise what is important and who is oiling their gears in Europe. The USA just wants Indo Pacific countries to fight for them, so that the USA can continue to retain it's hegemony.
The Anglo Saxons are going around recruiting cannon fodders when they confront China. Stupid countries falling for the usual trick and how come they never learn?
