USS Connecticut - China confirms hitting it with an unmanned submarine

China has had enough of the American lies about the USS Connecticut hitting an undersea mountain. China also has had enough of waiting for the Americans to come clean and admit what really happened to the Connecticut. And since the Americans chose not to come clean, not to tell the truth, China would tell it all to expose the mischievous activities of the Americans and how the Connecticut was hunted down and eventually forced to surface and limped to Guam.

The Chinese were in the thick of things. A hostile nuclear armed attack submarine of China's number enemy, the evil American Empire, cannot be so naive to think that they could sneak around Chinese territorial waters undetected and even tried to get close to China's main submarine base in Hainan.

The story began when the Connecticut came in as the path finder and protector of the American aircraft carriers.  All American carriers are fronted by submarines wherever they go. And when an American aircraft carrier is in an area, when it sailed into the South China Sea, the Chinese would be in full alert to track down the submarine escorts. The Chinese went all out to hunt for the Connecticut with air, sea and space resources, including super computers and anti submarine satellites. They dropped many sonar detectors and charges into the path of the Connecticut and finally got it cornered. But the foolish American submarine commanders thought they were one up on the Chinese. But it refused to surrender and refused to surface. China delivered the final blow by hitting the Connecticut at its nose with an unmanned submarine, the HSU001. The Connecticut's nose was where it housed the sophisticated navigation equipment, the eyes and ears of the submarine. This was almost totally destroyed when the China sub slammed it. The rest is history. The damage forced it to surface and embarrassingly crawled back to Guam, and pretending that the Chinese did not know and was not watching.

This was like a repeat of the 1979 incident when a PLA fighter pilot slammed his aircraft against the American recce plane, damaging it and forced to land in Hainan to be torn apart by the Chinese and its crew virtually ended as POWs. This time the Americans were a bit luckier, not having to send out SOS message and seek help in Hainan.

The Chinese did a splendid job hunting down the hunter, the Sea Wolf, the most advanced American nuclear attack submarine. How's that for poking its nose in the wrong places and getting its nose cut? The Chinese were inferior in submarine warfare? The Americans were superior and have more sophisticated submarines and could run circus in the South China Sea freely, undetected?

Would the Americans dare to own up and tell the truth, that the Connecticut could have been sunk or crippled by the Chinese in a real hostile situation? Would the Commanders of the Connecticut sheepishly report what had happened to the Pentagon? Would the world hear the truth from the Americans finally? A sophisticated submarine like the Connecticut could not be wandering around the South China Sea like a drunkard man and collided with a stationary undersea mountain. Such a silly explanation was a joke. If this is the quality of American subs, they would be crashing against the port walls before getting out to sea.

China would likely be telling the Americans, see you again next time cowboys, if you dare. Would the American submarines end their adventurism like the U2 spy planes, never to fly over China again, in this case never to enter the South China Sea again?

Now only the Americuns r beginning to hv a little taste of it.

After the hit on USS Connecticut by an unmanned Chinese submarine, the U.S. and Japan on Tuesday conducted large-scale anti-submarine drills in the South China Sea targeting submarines of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Navy.

The Tuesday exercise included anti-submarine training, which involved tracking a sub underwater, was aimed at preventing Chinese submarines from ambushing US warships.

The US Navy borrowed a Japanese submarine to serve as an imaginary enemy to hone their anti-submarine capabilities in the South China Sea.

Using an MSDF submarine as target, Japanese and US vessels and aircraft searched the area and confirmed the steps to be taken in the event of an attack, Japanese news outlet The Yomiuri Shimbun reported.

A military expert pointed out that the US and Japan's attempt to hunt PLA submarines, be they conventional, nuclear-powered or unmanned, is a daydream, as the South China Sea is too big for these few countries - even counting the naval forces of Australia - not to mention that increasingly advanced submarine technologies China possesses.

China should continue to train its naval forces and prepare for war, and Chinese submarines should not only be in the South China Sea but in other countries' waters to break the strategic encirclement of countries such as the US and Japan, the expert added.

The American concept of First Island Chain and containing Chinese warships inside the chain is passe. The whole of western Pacific Ocean is now under the control of China. Every ship, submarines, aircraft carriers, cruisers, frigates etc etc is sitting ducks and China can take them out any time, like the Connecticut. And the PLAN is all over the western Pacific, also in the Indian Ocean and the seas off Alaska and California.

The Americans and Japanese are still dreaming that they can float their ships around the western Pacific Ocean. They did not know that the ships are there at China's mercy and pleasure.

The South China Sea is a Chinese pond.

The Americans and Japanese still using antique technologies to track and hunt Chinese submarines.

China was successful in hunting down the Connecticut by deploying satellites and the aid of its super computers and quantum technologies. It was a very difficult task to track and hunt down the most sophisticated and most expensive American Sea Wolf class submarines. China did it despite the Connecticut switching off its sonar equipment and using all kinds of evasive manouvres.

For once, the Americans kept very quiet, too embarrass to tell the world what happened to the Connecticut.

By 2030, China should have 10,000 nuclear warheads.

Not 1,000, as predicted by the US Secretary of Defence.

These 10,000 warheads should be able to hid all the US military bases, all the US nuclear bases and deployments and all the UK, French, Indian, Israeli and Japanese nuclear forces.

In addition, China should have satellite killers on Earth and in Space, to take down all US communications, surveillance, intelligence and military satellites in the event of war.

"USS Connecticut - China confirms hitting it with an unmanned submarine" ~ unfortunately this could be a hoax.

If you watch this youtube below to listen to the explanation :

To date There isn't 1 Chinese Official coming out to claim that China anti sub hit the US sub. Doing this will mean WAR ! That means WW111 liao.

Aircraft rammed aircraft, ship rammed ship, acceptable accident. No shot was fired.

China also never claim they have hypersonic weapon.

Israel also never claim it has nuclear weapons.

Japan also never claim it has nuclear weapons.

So they don't have any of these weapons?

Americans claimed Saddam had WMD, so must have WMD?

So in this Case, Honesty isn't a good policy.
China's anti sub kissed the Americuns sub ass & never claim it ...it's like 'raping' someone & no need lay any claim cause no witness & policemen or the 'policemen's" ass being raped ..woah so shameful leh.

Why the Americans dare not accuse the Chinese of knocking off the sub's head and still had to quietly slipped away to Guam? Shameful or not?

Oh, the blind American sub did not know where it was going, so stupidly hit a mountain in the sea. Shameful or not?

US President Joe Biden is old and confused

During the virtual meeting on Tuesday between Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping, the US President requested that Beijing release oil from China's strategic oil reserves to stabilize rising crude prices which would help tame inflationary pressures in the US.

Two days later, Biden said he was considering a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Why not the Americans release their own strategic reserves?

Looks like Pelosi and gang did not trust Biden and overruled what he said in the meeting with Xi. Now they are ordering Biden to do what they wanted him to do.

As a small country, Singapore is not immune to foreign interference. We have been the subject of such favours from China, from Russia, from the US and the UK.

From the Hank Hendrickson incident to Huang Jing, and even our local activists' visit to Dr Mahathir to invite foreign interference, we are cognizant of the threat of foreign interference in our domestic politics.

In 1971, then Foreign Minister S Rajaratnam accused the Singapore Herald of trying to erode the will of the people of Singapore. The paper had published articles to stir the people's feelings against national service.

They keep repeating that the Connecticut hit an unknown object, then a underwater mountain, all the time trying to pull pull over the eyes of the world. If what the Chinese said is true, it is a real wake up call for the USA that their subs can actually be detected and put out of action, causing difficulty for their surface carriers to move into safe waters charted by their subs.

Fabricating a lie to cover a lie never works. What a joke that such a sophisticated submarine cannot even avoid another unmanned submarine. How's that for claiming they had the best technology? Years of sitting on their hands thinking that their subs are able to move so silently in enemy waters that it cannot be detected is being put to rest.

How the US betrayed 3 Joint Communiqués with China over Taiwan question

The relationship of the People's Republic of China to the United States enjoyed a glorious beginning and a promising friendship. It began when President Richard Nixon recognized the importance of rising China to the international order. His vision was not limited to China's value in Cold War realpolitik but extended to the horizon of an uncertain future. 50 years later President Nixon's foresight has been replaced by reactionary American parochialism, with Taiwan island in the eye of a storm that is leading to an apocalyptic confrontation. A brief history can clarify what went wrong.

In 1949 the Republic of China (ROC) was exiled to Taiwan island pausing China's civil war. As our ideologically aligned Chinese ally we stood by the ROC in anticipation of the nationalists someday defeating and replacing the newly founded PRC. The dispute was a contest for rulership of all One China. The nationalist ROC was intent on reunifying the mainland with the island under a Western governance model and eradicating communism. At the time the ROC occupied the United Nations (UN) China seat, and in 1955 the US and ROC entered the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty, stationing American forces aboard Taiwan island.

But in 1971 the UN voted to eject the ROC from the China seat that it was filling and welcomed the PRC to fill the China seat as the only legitimate government of China. The UN has never recognized the ROC or Taiwan island as anything other than a politically alienated Chinese population aboard China's sovereign territory. The US is a signatory to the UN Charter. President Nixon and his advisor Dr. Henry Kissinger recognized the new global realities and commenced the US' outreach to the PRC, which culminated in the President's historic visit with Mao Zedong in the PRC.

Three Joint Communiqués later emerged from ensuing bilateral negotiations between the US and China. The wording and specific interpretation of each was agreed upon by the US and PRC in good faith in advance of each publication. They are cherished by the Chinese as the authoritative foundations of our countries' diplomatic relations.

The 1st Joint Communiqué was published in 1972 during the Nixon Presidency. The Chinese reaffirmed that the Taiwan question is the crucial question obstructing the normalization of relations between China and the US, that the PRC is the sole legitimate government of China and Taiwan is a Province of China, and that the ROC, the island territory and reunification were China's internal affair. The US acknowledged that all Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Strait maintain there is only One China and Taiwan is part of China. The US also reaffirmed its interest in a peaceful settlement of the Taiwan question by the Chinese themselves and agreed to remove all U.S. forces from the island. Finally, both nations pledged not seek hegemony in the region or enter into agreements with other states in order to establish hegemony.

The 2nd Joint Communiqué was negotiated and published in 1978 during the Carter Presidency. In it the PRC and the US agreed to establish formal diplomatic relations. The US again acknowledged the Chinese position that there is only one China and Taiwan is part of China, and also affirmed the PRC is the legitimate government of China. The US agreed to limit its ROC affiliation to informal cultural and commercial relations. Both countries revalidated the 1st Joint Communiqué. Concurrently, the President rescinded the Sino-American Mutual Defense Treaty with the ROC.

But the China lobby in the US was determined to tie the US to the ROC's fate. The US Senate challenged the President's unilateral actions, however, the Supreme Court upheld them. Dissatisfied with the ruling, both houses of Congress passed the Taiwan Relations Act (TRA). As a public law the TRA directed weapons sales to the ROC for self-defense and maintenance of a US capacity to militarily intervene in the island's defense. Although the TRA torpedoed the intent of the 1972 and 1978 communiqués, President Carter signed it into law in 1979.

One China sovereignty and territorial integrity were not immediately jeopardized since the aims of the ROC and the PRC were mirror images. Yet, the PRC warned the US that the TRA could lead to war between the US and China if a secessionist party emerged under an umbrella of US military assurances. The President's signature on the TRA caused doubts among PRC leaders that the US was negotiating with the PRC in good faith. The TRA undermined the intent of the 2 communiqués and jeopardized the young relationship between the two countries.

The 3nd Joint Communiqué was negotiated and published in 1982 during the Reagan Presidency. It was intended to address and alleviate PRC concerns over TRA-enabled weapons sales to the ROC. In it the US and PRC reaffirmed the principles agreed on in the 1st and 2nd Joint Communiqués. Additionally, the US stated that it does not seek a long-term policy of arms sales to Taiwan, that the quality or quantity of arms sales would not exceed those arms supplied to the ROC since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1979, and the US intends to reduce its sale of arms in anticipation of a final resolution.

Unbeknownst to the PRC, later in 1982 the US State Department and President confidentially communicated policy interpretation of the final communiqué that contradicted the agreed language. The guidance was unilaterally developed internally to reassure the ROC and disseminated exclusively to the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) without PRC knowledge. The Six Assurances to Taiwan were declassified in 2020 and available at https://sgp.fas.org/crs/row/IF11665.pdf.

In them the State Department assured the ROC that the US has not agreed to: 1) set a date for ending arms sales; 2) consult with the PRC on arms sales; 3) play a mediation role between Taipei and Beijing; 4) revise the TRA; 5) alter its position regarding island sovereignty; or 6) exert pressure on Taiwan to negotiate with the PRC. In an amplifying internal memo the President added that in spite of the 3rd Communiqué the US willingness to reduce arms sales to Taiwan is conditioned absolutely upon the continued commitment of China to a peaceful solution of Taiwan-PRC differences. In addition, the quality and quantity of the arms provided to Taiwan was conditioned entirely on the threat posed by the PRC, and that the linkage between these matters is a permanent imperative of US foreign policy.

In 1986 the PRC's concerns from 1979 were dramatically realized when a secessionist party was born in the form of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP). The secretive six assurances and the Presidential guidance have likely undermined any remaining faith the PRC had in the sincerity of the US commitment to documents the PRC considered sacrosanct.

In this context it should come as no surprise if reports that:

* US forces have been stationed and operating on Taiwan island for years turn out to be accurate.

* Routine visits to Taiwan island by members of the US Cabinet and Congress aboard US military aircraft have been official in nature.

* Weapons provided to Taiwan island by the US since 1982 have been of technological quality and in quantities far exceeding weapons provided in 1979.

Anonymous said...

* PRC perceptions that the US has been encouraging DPP independence ambitions throughout the party's existence since 1986 are well-founded.

* The Australia-UK-US Defense Pact (AUKUS) and the US-India-Japan-Australia Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) are agreements with other states to establish US and allied regional hegemony by encircling and containing China's rise.

* It is the TRA, the secretive six assurances, and internal Presidential guidance - not the communiqués - that constitute the sole US policy on Taiwan island.

In the end, any US references to the 3 Joint Communiqués are nothing but lip service intended to pacify the PRC. The bilaterally negotiated contents of the communiqués have evidently long been scrapped by the US.

Is it any wonder why the PRC has so dramatically increased its military capacities and capabilities relative to those of the US since 1982? The US cannot be trusted to keep its word. The question now, is there still time for the US to reestablish any credibility with the PRC before the otherwise inevitable catastrophe engulfs the region and the world?

If not for Russia and the problems in Europe, the USA would have already started WW3. There were many occasions that the USA wanted to take out China with nukes, knowing that the longer they waited, the less likely is their edge in the nuclear advantage.

That advantage has now been eroded somewhat by the Russians putting their trust in China against the USA. Further, the unknown factor of how strong the deterrents are that the Chinese have at present, is a question that the USA has to bear in mind. China must play it's card close to it's chess, a trait that the Chinese are well known. They always keep something that they can pull out when pushed against the wall.

The USA should just remember how the Chinese mastered rocket technology, built their space station, went to the moon, landed on Mars, developed hypersonic missiles, built super computers.

China is now experimenting with much faster Photonic and Graphene computer chips to move away from Silicon chips in order not to rely on Western technology. If successful this will render the ban in sales of Dutch lithography machines to China for chip making irrelevant. Even the Dutch feared just as much by labelling the USA's ban on sale of such machines to China as useless to stop China. Even Putin admitted that the USA is underestimating the resolve of China to overcome this chip problem. Give them five more years.

Queen of Hearts said...

Don't need five more year. In two to three years, Chinese scientists and engineers will develop better chips, better and smaller motherboards and faster everything by using nanotechnology and artificial intelligence.

When California and Texas declared independence, China can pass California Relations Act and Texas Relations Act to defend them and sell arms to them.

See how the white men twist and turn to turn their unilateral law making to become international law and to interfere in other countries domestic affairs.

When California and Texas break away and China move in, you can expect that USA will turn into a mental asylum, with the Neocons breathing fire, sprouting horns, growing a tail, howling for blood and with blood dripping from their eyes and mouth. It will be a hideous sight to behold!

To make things easier China should pass a law to 'outlaw' all the laws passed unilaterally by the USA against China's interest. It should work both ways.

Regardless all other matters, purely for the effort of hunting/locating the culprit USA submarine, well done China but one thing buffles me, how come China was so subtle without passing any comment about her effort?

Point 2 of my buffles; the excuse of a USA submarine crashed, NOT nudged, against an underwater mountain UNDER the south China Sea, how come this was possible with all the advance detecting equipment onboard, even a blind person with a primitive DEVICE, a stick, would not crash into a wall!!!! However I am a man of thoughts '' 空穴来风 未必无因(valid reason) '' so I put it down as the REAL reason was not revealed.....( UNTIL NOW ). Demotion of the high ranking officers due to human errors LOOKED LIKE A VALID/ACCEPTABLE reason or to support the excuse if NOT true, so to say NOT TO LOOSE FACE. The excuse is further support by ''欲盍弥璋''== the more tried to cover the more it reveals the truth.
